Hotel Carina

I'm giving Carina Hotel 1 star due to a recent theft incident during my stay. Despite promptly reporting missing belongings and emailing the hotel, I have yet to receive any response in 10 days. While I understand I won't recover the stolen belongings worth over 500€, the lack of communication indicates they do not take thefts seriously, possibly even from their own cleaning personnel. Until they improve their response to such incidents, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Additionally, the hotel was generally clean, and the pool area was enjoyable. However, the breakfast offered was poor, and the drinks at the buffet were ridiculous. The highlight of the hotel is its scenic view and convenient location, approximately a 10 minute walk from the center of Kusadasi. Do note that reaching the hotel involves a steep uphill walk.
Moreover, there is a bar restaurant on site that plays loud music until late at night. While this may be enjoyable for young guests like myself and my friends, it may not be suitable for families with young children or those seeking a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

Stayed across the Carina hotel. God help the neighborhood.. Excessive loud music till 12.30 am.Not the fault of Altisaray hotel.If you’re a person that goes to bed early don’t book in this area . Wish I would have known prior to booking.

Extremely loud music untill 1 am. I just wonder it's legal in Turkey? In the most countries I can call police. The whole area suffers from you. Shame on you.

My family stayed here for 10 days in June. To say the hotel is nothing like the photos is a bit of an understatement. The feeling is immediately shabby. Cracks and dirt everywhere, with beer bottles strewn around for everyone to see. Everywhere you look, there are cracked tiles and peeling, crumbling features.

There was always rubbish lying around to pool area. We mentioned to the management that children were cutting themselves in the pool. This was denied by staff until we went underwater and found a shattered cocktail glass at the bottom of the pool. This was handed into the staff and when we tried to photograph it, they quickly turned away and hid the glass. At least three children had to have cuts checked.

The elevator was filthy. Trash cans were putrid with rot / rust on the bottom in the rooms. The shower head in the bathroom had to be held together with a plastic bag in order for the water to come out.

Single sheets were provided for double beds. The pillows looked like they were the original pillows from when the hotel first opened. There were random holes in the hotel room walls with exposed wiring. The ceiling fan also had exposed wires. The view from the room was of a mountain of rubbish bags / boxes.

Having read reviews and responses regarding the hotel bar music, it seemed staff were happy to relocate people to quieter rooms. They were NOT. My 60 year old parents were threatened will police action for asking if the music could either be turned down or they be placed in a quieter part of the hotel.

Food took an age to be prepared and was cold every time it was delivered. Some of the staff were lovely, but management were quite aggressive whenever requests were made.

Avoid like the plague, there are beautiful hotels close by for similar prices, which my parents were informed of, when told the police would be called if they continued asking for what was presented in the photos online.

The noise level is incredible, the music can be heard within a one km radius. Not sure how anybody can sleep in the hotel, in the hotels around or in the neighbourhood. Apparently other hotel owners and local residents have complained but to no avail. Go there if sleep os not your priority and you would like to listen to bad club music instead of the beautiful sound of the sea.I absolutely do not recommend and i think it is okay to entertzin your guests but not the entire neighbourhood.

First of all the whole concept is wrong. When you attach a “night club” to a hotel, you can understand why people complain about the noise. A hotel that actively disturbs its own guests with extremely loud and bad music is not a good idea. And their response to those complaints is really terrible. We stayed as a group and were willing to overlook the noise, except the last day they had the gall to shush us when students were playing card while the music was blasting. You had to laugh except it was incredibly shocking and rude. The hotel and the restaurant are managed separately, they are trying to be something that ends up being pathetic (the music is also repetitious and bad in addition to being extremely and unnecessarily loud. The people who work there are nice, and they seem to be suffering from the poor management as well. Listen to the criticisms rather than attaching your canned answers to the reviews. We will not go back there.

For the first six hours I thought it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and I wanted to give it 5 stars. The rooms are clean and nice and the view is great.
But there is a HUGE problem: the unbelievable extreme loud music in the bar. First night it was from 8 pm to 1-2 am and second night from 8 pm to 2:45 am. Sometimes the guests stay longer and talk, laugh and scream very loud and it's impossible to sleep. The hotel get noisy from 8 am and it means if you're not a panda, you can't sleep longer than 5 - 6 hours in this hotel.
My last sentence: it was a nightmare and it ruined our vacation.

I usually don't write reviews, but this one is the worst. There is no hot water, there is no trash can in the room, and it is 12 o'clock in the evening and I can't sleep because of the sound of music outside. It's the worst place I've stayed so far except for the sea view. Really don't come here. You will regret it like me.
