Marbel Hotel by Palm Wings - All Inclusive

Stayed here for 10 days with family and would never stay again. There was few goods about this hotel like a few staff were very lovely and helpful, especially the animation staff, Ogy, he tried his best to make the experience better for us by doing one night of something we would like as every single night the entertainment was the same, kids mini disco, either movie quiz or bingo every single night. He did karaoke for us but we didn’t join in as there was no lyrics. There was another lovely member of staff who worked behind the bar, unsure of his name but I think he started working there recently, very friendly and jokey which was very rare to find there. No staff members had a smile on their face, all miserable. The food is not good at all, they only cater to Turkish people, the most English food you will find is chips and nuggets, but the nuggets are either yellow or grey inside so no idea what they actually are. There is a nice salad bit, the fruit is very limited, all I saw for 10 days were apples, watermelon and plums. I was told to cover up at dinner time as I was obviously in my bikini but no other Turkish person was told to cover up. The food is pretty much the same every day and they also set the food out extremely early, I’m talking breakfast is set out the night before and the food room is very warm so don’t expect fresh food at any point, there were flies all over the food and cats wandering around, staff were very mean to the cats spraying them with water and harshly kicking them out. The juice machines were just extremely watered down cordial, one day I got my boyfriend apple juice and it was literally water with a splash of apple, they did nothing about that. The coffee machines were only open at breakfast, the “coffee and milk” was just black coffee. The rooms, there is no room for your luggage so you will probably end up keeping everything in your suitcase like we did, there is the worlds smallest shelf in the shower for your stuff, everything else had to go on the floor as we could only fit shampoo and conditioner on it. The shower goes freezing then boiling every couple of seconds when it’s on a set temp, the cleaners rarely top up the toilet roll & the towels are rarely freshened, just hung. The beds were large and well made by cleaners but they were very hard and uncomfortable. Our balcony light didn’t work, the balcony was tiny & not even a table on it. The aircon was full of mould, everytime we turned it on it stunk of damp and it made me and many other family members extremely ill but if it wasn’t on it was extremely hot so we had to cope. The tv had all Turkish programs and you couldn’t even change the language to English, the only English channel was the news. You only get a fridge, no kettle, not even a kitchen sink (just one in the bathroom). The pool area was pretty good, we had to go down very early to get sunbeds as they were all taken by 8am even though signs say not to. The pool is small, and as an English family

Hotel had its goods but mainly bad. We’re a white family, the racism we experienced is unbelievable. Would never return.
