Greenwood Suites Resort

Truly awful hotel 3 star at the most. Aircon broken took 6 nights of a 10 day stay before they offered a room exchange and admitted they couldn't resolve the problem. Food is so repetitive worst All inclusive we have ever had. Customer service staff rude and arrogant just try to talk over you even the manager did this to us and won't accept any fault. Offered us late checkout as compensation which meant an extra 3 hours in the room even then the cleaners were at the room and hour before trying to get in. The best staff are in the lobby bar the rest only interested in Turkish holiday makers.

The hotel itself was great. The rooms were large with a fridge freezer, washing machine and cooker (didn't use). It was clean throughout and Staff was seen cleaning the toilets and outside areas frequently. The staff were friendly and helpful. Always greeting you with a smile. My teenagers made friends with the ice cream man and a couple bar staff. The pools and aqua park are spacious with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Evening entertainment was okay. The main guy was funny and a great piano player. On site shops were reasonably priced. Food was okay but I feel there could have been more of a variety, fruit options were basic.

Unfortunately they don't cater well for those with dairy allergies. The only alternative option for milk was almond milk which isn't great and it's expensive to buy in the supermarket. Food choices themselves weren't many dairy free options (even the rice has butter in it) no dairy free ice cream available, only choice was an ice lolly again not great.
The beach area..... It was a shambles. We went once and didn't go back down. It was very small with an eating area which provided lunch. The whole area was very uninviting. Strong smell of drainage. Tables and chairs were dirty and needed a good scrub. Overgrown grass along the walk way made it look untidy. There was a shuttle service to and from the beach. The driver that day was smoking in the kitchen area where food was prepared speaking with the chef. He was witnessed using a sink as an ashtray (we did report it to the hotel guest relations)

We frequently visit Lara beach area and have stayed at multiple hotels. For what we paid I was disappointed with what was offered. We have paid less to stay at other hotels and got more and of higher standard.

Hotel doesn't look amazing when we arrived till we walked inside its gorgeous In side, rooms are lovely and cleaned every day with fresh towels. Highlight for me was the washing machine in the room. pools are deep cold but clean. staff make the hotel they are all so friendly. the only downside is the food in the buffet it was all cold and repeative we have come back very hungry and bit skinnier then we arrived

Our rooms met our expectations.
Pool and staff poor I’m sorry to say miserable and lazy not all but most .
Never in my experience of turkey have I ever experienced such a dirty poor beach, near a cesspit pit so much rubbish and totally unkempt the whole bus got off and back on again . This is a 3 star hotel at best .
