Arcanus Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

Fantastic hotel! Very family friendly. Everything you need is on sight and not overwhelmed with activities. Kids loved it. Lots of food choices and different a la carte menus to choose from! Would definitely recommend for families!

I stayed 10 nights at Arcanus Hotel Sorgun and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-equipped, with daily housekeeping and a well-stocked minibar. The all-inclusive food was excellent, offering a wide variety at every meal, and the à la carte restaurants were a great bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the resort, always making us feel welcome. The pools were clean and spacious, the beach was beautiful and just a short walk away, and the evening entertainment was lively without being too loud. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay with great value for money—I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

We had a great family holiday. Extremely clean and excellent and friel fly service by all staff. Call out especially to Berkay who was so helpful in sorting out our needs. Food was great and loved the al a Carte The pool area was clean and tidy and the heated water was so nice. The beach was fab as was the pier. Will definitely only be back.

We spend 11 nights here from end April beginning May.

We had a really lovely holiday and did not want to go home.

Beds comfortable, not rock hard like another resort we we visited before.
Wifi good but you need to sign in every morning.
We upgraded direct to seaview apartments and got "corner" rooms which was nice and spacious.

Most staff at reception speaks English.
Food was good, a little bit repetetive at times but you can have a good variety if you choose well.
Most staff in restaurant friendly and helpful. Coffee with milk is not a thing so google it and ask in Turkish. They have English breakfast tea labled black tea.

A'la carte - we did mexican and turkish, food was ok, it was a nice different experience and the waiters were good.

There is a smoothie bar which is nice, you can ask for them to use fresh banana (if they have or take some from the restaurant).

There is also a nescafe coffee bar where you can get proper coffees.
They don't have any decaf tea or decaf coffee.

We enjoyed the pattiserie and icecream, lots of variety. Bar staff helpful, friendly.

Pool and facilities were great, we also loved feeding and swimming with the fish at the pier, we took our scuba masks with. There were lifeguards until 5pm every day. In one video review it showed a bucket of bread on the pier where you could feed the fish but there was nothing when we went so we just took some from the restaurant. The fish has a spot where they all congregate waiting to be fed.

There is a shop on site where you can buy everything you need for a pool/beach outing but it is expensive.

We arrived very late (waiting 1.5 hours for our bags in Antalya🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️) so missed the evening buffet but they do have a bistro that serves burgers, chips, grilled chicken, salad all through the night until the breakfast buffet open. It is not the best food but you won't starve if you arrive late.

The evening entertainment is good, not amazing or fantastic but entertaining enough to watch. We enjoyed the times when they got everyone on the dancefloor the most.

There are loads of activities on throughout the day but we are very lazy holidaymakers so I cannot comment on that.

Room service were hit and miss, there was one lady who did a fantastic job whilst other times we had to call them back to clean the floors.

There are a lot of cats that lives there, they ask guests not to feed them and they are under vetinary care.

There are lots of shortcuts to the pool, outside area if you go straight down to the ground floor (with the stairs).

Smoking - we absolutely hate smoking so it is a tad bit annoying that so many people (including staff) smokes.
There are designated areas but smoke smells travels. Our rooms were fine though and only once we could smell the guest underneath us smoke. We also once moved spots on the Pier as the wind blew smoke in our direction.
It is very much a thing in Turkey though (everyone seems to smoke) but we survived and we don't smoke or have any friends that smokes.

Fellow guests were mainly german, some dutch and few other british families. The atmosphere were relaxed and friendly.

There is a doctor on site until 5pm, then a nurse till 6pm. We did not need any medical care so cannot comment.

The hotel is near Side - a lovely touristy town town with ancient ruins and boat rides (5Euro) , best to have TL on you for the bus rides (about 45 TL) as it is much cheaper than paying in Euro. You can also go to Manavgat by bus, it is a working town with markets on a Thursday and Saturday. To go to the waterfalls (nice for a little outing) just ask to go to "Wasserfall" and they will drop you at the spot where you cross the road and wait for bus marked Wasserfall.
You will see a lift going on to a clift top, it is free with beautiful views of the city.

We booked via "On the beach" and everything went really well. Only annoying thing is the guy calling you at 8am for a "meeting". We just told him to we are not interested in expensive excursions but to be woken up so early after a very late night is super annoying.

The kids had a fantastic time at kids club. There are a good variety of things to do which change daily. We stayed for 8 nights and the kids did not get bored. The great thing about this place over others is the kids age range is not just from over 5 and the kids are in a safe environment. Brilliant service.

Fabulous hotel with lovely food & drinks with terrific views, some real treats for cat lovers but above all its the staff that make Arcanus special - Nur, Mehmet, Halime & Abdullahamid at the pool bar & Gokhan, Arife & Furkan at the lobby bar. These people are friendly & helpful & make your hols extra special. Thanks guys, see you next April ❤️

I would have given a 5 star review if there was more/better evening entertainment. They had entertainment on but every hotel I’ve been to in Turkey prior has had a Turkish night, with Turkish dancing. They do the Turkish alicart restaurant which we booked and was lovely but just felt it lacked a Turkish themed night. The entertainment team was very friendly, especially Alton who made an effort to chat with guests. We also did the Italian alicart restaurant which we found fantastic, food and service we couldn’t fault. The hotel its self was spotlessly clean. We felt with all the different bars and food restaurants around the total you didn’t need to leave the complex, which is good as you’re all inclusive saves spending extra. However there isn’t anything close by to the hotel, everything is a short taxi ride which wasn’t a problem. We booked the pavilion on the beach which is 75 euro extra for your own private space 9am - 6pm with regular butler service bringing drinks and icecream. We all enjoyed the pavilion. There was plenty of food choices I thought. Buffet restaurant which was a typical all inclusive buffet style with pasta, salads, meat, veg and daily fresh cooked while you wait. My family absolutely loved the mashed potato . Through the day you had the slide pool bar, the lounge and beach restaurant that did fast food type food, all slightly different menu. We never struggled to have a meal so can’t fault the food atall.The drinks were a struggle, we felt You could order a drink, then order another drink the same and tasted totally different. However I do recommend the alcohol slushes from passion. Especially the Malibu and pineapple . We would definitely recommend Arcanus and would return in the future. We did give feed back about a Turkish themed night to the reservations so hopefully they will take this onboard. If you’re thinking of booking this hotel then go ahead as you won’t be disappointed. If you have booked for the summer I hope you have as much of a good time as we did

And not to forget the amazing and incredibly kind-hearted Fatoush—what a gem! Her kindness, genuine smile, and comforting presence added a whole new level of warmth to our stay.
