Location was exception. close to everything. The staff from the time you walked into the building until you walked back out was completely focused on the customer (my family). I travel 50% for my work and what really stood out was the staff, especially the folks at the front door (Valet, Bellman, etc) and the staff at the desk. When checking in the staff wanted to know what we needed and how they could make it the best trip. They realized we we heading to dinner, offered to arrange a ride and text during dinner to see if they needed to make up the sofa bed for our daughter. UNBELIVABLE

Beautiful rooms. Exceptional staff. My glasses had come apart this morning before leaving for Boston. A kind gentleman from the hotel helping our group (from JLR) brought me a set of small screwdrivers and helped me put my glasses back together! How much more kind and helpful can one be than that? I've never had someone at a hotel go out of their way at the drop of the hat like this. It explains why your hotel has the reputation it does. THANK YOU!

My partner and I came to the Four Seasons looking for the Bristol Lounge but were astounded by the new lobby renovation and the beautiful new restaurant, Coterie. We were greeted at the door by the astute young gentleman, Zach, who informed us that the Bristol Lounge had closed over the course of the pandemic (Bummer!) but guided us to the new Coterie restaurant, where the wonderful, Emisha, (I hope I am spelling her name correctly) seated us. We shared a few cocktails and really enjoyed our time there. At the end we were sent off by the jubilant, Franz, to 'Have a WONDERFUL Evening." I couldn't have been happier with our experience and look forward to coming back!

I was not a guest at this hotel but since I had a horrible experience with interactions with the hotel staff I decided to write a review. Today after the pride parade it started pouring out with a thunder and since I had my dog who is absolutely terrified of thunders with me, I needed the nearest place to shelter which happened to be this hotel. When we arrived the hotel staff rudely said we cannot go inside (not even to a lobby) because I wasn’t a guest there. Under normal circumstances I’d understand this but I explained to him that my dog was panicking from the thunder and it wasn’t safe for her to be outside right now and that we just need to go inside until the thunder stopped. He didn’t care and said nope sorry while he saw my dog desperately trying to get inside. Then we found a corner spot behind the large plants to hide my dog to calm her down. Minutes later another hotel staff came and said we can’t be there because this is a hotel property and that we need to be on the side walk. I could not believe he wanted us out on the side walk in the pouring rain and thunders. What kind of heartless people would even say this seeing how bad the weather was and how my dog was!! I would NEVER stay at this hotel now that I know the hotel staff truly sucks.

After having come from another Four Seasons property two months prior we were ready and excited for our next stay in one! Instantly we realized things were amiss. It was very clear that staffing shortages were a major issue. Everyone looked flustered and things repeatedly went wrong. A $45 lobster omelet - completely dry and tasteless. A bed for our son not addressed until we called down at 10:30pm and asked about it even though they knew he was coming. Room service routinely missing stuff or being off. Eggs all three mornings were overcooked, rubbery and dry. When we dined at Audjourd'hui we sat for 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Then it was by the manager, Rachel, who was very pleasant but clearly very busy. We never saw the server. We asked for goggles for purchase for the pool for THREE days. It wasn't until Luke, manager for the pool area, took care of it personally on our last night did it finally get addressed. Overall it seemed VERY hard to get things no matter how basic (like yes or no answers to questions or silverware to eat take out). Especially through the messaging app which was painful at best and often required a call or visit to the front desk to get the answer. The most aggravating part was the extremely loud and annoying children. It was so bad my son was calling them out. Every day children (and adults) were RUNNING and screaming through the halls, slamming doors and were so loud we could hear them inside our room while trying to sleep. When we mentioned it to the front desk they just shrugged and said security would look into it. The problem was continual through our entire stay. Worth mentioning is Elizabeth at the front desk who always had a smile and answers, Tony from housekeeping that recovered the bed issue and turned a bad night around, and Janely, assistant director of housekeeping, for making sure our wedding anniversary was special. Would we be back? Not to this one. However, due to the people above we also stayed our whole vacation and didn't cut it short as we were discussing.

Best hotel might have stayed in. I stay in hotels for my work frequently. Out of all the high end hotels, I recommend this 4 Seasons over all. The food is outstanding. The staff is the most professional staff and attentive than any Boston hotel. Especially the way the hotel treats it's staff. They are tops in book.

The food was good but not as top quality as I thought it would be. Overcooked veggie burger with decent truffle fries. Also, they don't use Hellman's mayo...

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Four Seasons restaurant. Very relaxed, not rushed to order or eat. Waiter was very courteous and accommodating.

Truly a 5 star experience. My husband and I chose the Four seasons for a 2 day staycation. After reading reviews online for Boston Hotels, they really stood out as a kid friendly hotel. Not swarming with children however, which is nice since having two children is difficult enough lol. They offered a package that includes cookie making classes, an indoor camping experience (Glamping), and a complimentary toy as soon as we walked in! We dined at the Bristol restaurant (pricey), but worth trying at least once. The food and service is unmatched.

They have a beautiful pool and Jacuzzi overlooking the Boston common. A steam room and sauna. And according to my husband and amazing spa experience! I watched the children as he enjoyed a massage :)
