Excellent Langham quality and attention to detail. Staff are wonderful from check-in to housekeeping. Furniture, amenities, and design elements should win an award. The room lighting in particular leaves no dark spots and uniquely placed night lighting was very much appreciated.
The constraint is trying to fit the comfortable design in a space too small, at least for the king size bedroom. There is not enough space to set up suitcases. You must use the provide dresser drawers and beautiful closet.
The chairs and table are nice, but not comfortable for a relaxing read or work. Some people will be disappointed that some rooms have a spacious shower, but no tub.
The bathroom door is unique with no mechanical latch/door knob. However, until you realize you must forcefully pull on the bathroom door, you momentarily feel locked in the bathroom.
The Boston Langham doesn’t have a large common area. It doesn’t feel like you can just relax for a few minutes while having a cup of tea and reading the newspaper.
Overall, an excellent property and you will feel like you got you money’s worth. For families with young children, it may feel a little constricted. Pool and exercise areas are nice, but have more of a corporate traveler vibe.
The Grana restaurant is very nice with excellent service and food. It just has limited hours for weekend travelers.

I will only choose this place for my stay in Boston from now on. The bed topper here is absolutely incredible. In fact, we loved it so much that we ended up getting the same one for our own bed at home. The staff is also extremely helpful and can assist you in making that happen. Overall, our experience was beyond pleasant, making it an easy choice for future stays.

The Langham Boston is a visually beautiful, luxurious hotel. The hotel decor is stunning and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The staff I met were extremely polite and very helpful, particularly the waiting staff. However, I requested a room in a quiet area but was allocated a room right next to the house keeping linen closet. It was very noisy and distracting at times. This wasn’t helped by very noisy neighbours who seemed to host guests in their room at all hours of the night. I don’t feel the hotel staff did anything to rectify it. They mentioned moving rooms at 10pm at night which I declined as I was tired after a day of sight seeing . When the noise continued the following night I regretted that decision. Reception called my room that night and I assured them all was quiet but the noise began again later on. A quick apology at check out was all I received for the inconvenience. Furthermore, the full stay fee was held on my account for a few days after returning home despite paying in full at departure. When I emailed the hotel to inform them of this they never replied or offered an apology . In my opinion, the service I received does not match the 5 star expectations of this hotel and I reflect on my stay with disappointment.

My daughter and I stayed at the Langham for a mother/daughter trip and it was absolute perfection. The staff are warm and friendly throughout every interaction and truly wanted to make the stay a special one we wouldn't forget. The hotel itself is renovated to perfection and the beds are soft and cozy. Amenities such as the pool, room service, and club room were luxurious, but not pretentious.
As someone who also used to be a "luxury" wedding planner and who is currently still in the event industry, I can also say that based on the spaces we toured and staff attentiveness and focus on detail, this would be an incredible location for a wedding or special event. The food we had was artful and delicious.
I can't wait for our next stay at the Langham!

I love this place! I stayed here twice with my family. I have also been to their chocolate bar. It is definitely worth the money as a once in a lifetime thing! The food served at the langham is great, the facilities are great, and I love the customer service and atmosphere. You can get good deals on these rooms if you look out for them. I wish I could live there!

Elegant hotel. We have rented space there to run business events. Outstanding service by the waiters and greeters. Magnificent entry way. Immaculate rest rooms. Central location to Boston's Financial District.

This place was very elegant, and had a great ambiance. However, for an establishment to be this high end,and expensive I think they should consider making a menu that is more accommodating to those that have food allergies or sensitivities. My siblings and I took my mother here for her birthday to have afternoon tea, we paid the same amount as everyone there for the tea, but had significantly less food than what was presented to the other diners. If that was the case, then the pricing should have reflected the amount we were given to eat. We were served 4 cucumber tea sandwiches, 4 lobster meat tea sandwiches, 4 chicken tea sandwiches, and 3 tomato skewers, all on one plate to be shared by 3 people, while the diners around us had tiers of food presented to them. Also, the waiters barely came to our table to check on us to see if we wanted anything else, or to check how our dining experience was going, we sat waiting for our tea for a very long time, and even had to wait a long time for our cocktails, mind you the restaurant wasn't so full as to delay service. The Langham could definitely do a lot better.
