The Whitney Hotel

I absolutely love this hotel - and have just stayed for the second time in as many months.
Everything is honestly perfect, the rooms are perfectly clean and spacious and the bed is incredibly comfortable. There are also so many personal touches including the turn-down service, toffees, coffee by reception, lovely restaurant with great variety, complementary water to name just a few things. The staff are so lovely and incredibly kind and helpful. Special mention to the housekeeping staff and to the front desk who are all so fantastic. Joyce Chin, the hotel manager is the most amazing person - she did everything she could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is in a perfect location - close to major sites in Boston and just a short walk across Longfellow Bridge directly into Cambridge. The views from the room are gorgeous and the hotel manages to stay quiet at night despite being close to a busy road. I really couldn't recommend this place more (even though I would prefer to keep it a well kept secret!).

What could I possibly say?! This was my second visit to The Whitney and it is undoubtedly my favorite hotel in Boston. The staff and the service are above and beyond - Kamil seeks out opportunities to make guests feel so welcome and provides a superb guest experience. I love the food and drinks at the bar and restaurant, and the cleanliness and amenities in the room are 10/10. Lovely views, very comfortable beds and killer morning cappuccinos. If you’re thinking of booking - do it! From the moment you arrive to the minute you depart, you’ll be delighted by every staff member you encounter. An exceptional hotel with an incredibly thoughtful team. Thank you!

Amazing stay and great location! The hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, we had to make a last minute change to our booking which they had no problems with! From checking in to checking out, its been a wonderful stay! Big shout out to Joyce and rest of the hotel staff, when in Boston, will definitely stay there again!

We had an excellent time at The Whitney. I don’t think we’ll be able to stay anywhere else when visiting Boston. Every single employee we interacted with was very kind and helpful. It doesn’t feel like everything has been minimized for profit and their goal is to truly give you a great stay. The room we stayed in was awesome and on the corner so we had two windows. Housekeeping comes multiple times a day and leaves water and candy in the evening. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. And the location is so perfect. You are right across the street from the red line so you can get around town easily but you don’t even need to because there’s a ton of great shops on the same street as the hotel.

We were thrilled with our experience! Considered the Four Seasons and so glad we went with the Whitney instead. Very nice rooms, truly excellent service. Understated and lovely. Great location for all of Beacon Hill and an easy walk to the Museum of Science or Back Bay. Loads of great restaurants in walking distance. Steps from the T. Only downside would be that there is some street/T noise due to the location but didn’t bother us at all (windows blocked more than I expected). We will definitely be back!

Our stay at The Whitney was wonderful. We were traveling with our one year old, and the staff made all the effort to ensure we had a great stay. When we arrived at our room they had little touches for our baby with a pack and play set up along with a book and a teddy bear. Additionally, the room itself had great products and nice touches like high quality linens and towels. The service was also incredibly accommodating, especially Chris at reception. At one point an honest mistake with housekeeping was made, and Chris not only corrected it, but went above and beyond to make sure we continued to enjoy our stay. I’ve stayed in Boston a number of times, but will continue to keep The Whitney in mind for future stays.

We had a staycation here the night we came back from our honeymoon in Portugal. We live in Beacon Hill, so always passed by the Whitney. It was a spectacular stay. The front desk and bellman were amazing, bed was so comfy, and the cleaning staff were also super nice. You’re right next to the red line to get to everything Cambridge side.

Myself and my fiancé stayed for 5 nights booked through Global Travel Moments (Duncan Greenfield-Turk). It was an amazing stay. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The room was incredibly spacious and beautiful, and quiet! Would highly recommend. Thank you for having us!
