The Beach Club at Harbor Resort and Marina

Extremely negative experience - staff was inexperienced, not helpful or professional, items in room not in working order, poor restaurant service, no suitable crib for an infant, room needed painting, shower glass was loose, general maintenance needed to clean outside are as there was broken glass around the pool area. Part of our family moved to another hotel.

Stayed here for a wedding. Made reservations almost a year in advance. Pictures of the rooms and resort were deceptive online. Rooms were incredibly small and overpriced. Had no microwave. Prices for inside rooms at no view were not reflective of what you get. Offered me upgrades a week before but still overpriced. Food at the wedding and Fish House restaurant were horrible. Fish House was also under staffed. Beer selection at wedding was too minimal and at bars was only slightly better. All hard liquor was watered down for the hotel to save money. Kids French fries were cold and French toast was frozen and reheated. Wedding chicken entree was gross and rubbery with no taste. All the trim and doors need to be replaced because they’re old or were painted badly. Maybe just rebuild the Harborside or drop the prices! They charge for the water taxi but not the shuttle service. Overall very disappointing and little value for the money.
