We had the best experience at the Bennett! From the moment we arrived we were taken care of so well. The staff is incredible and very professional. They never missed an opportunity to ask if we needed anything etc. Everyone was SO friendly! The hotel itself is beautiful and we booked a room with the Kings Club which was great for grabbing a bite to eat and relaxing. The pool cabanas are clean, spacious and a great addition to the trip. The location is great and we were within walking distance to so many great restaurants, sites etc. We will definitely be back!

So we finally got here for a break from Mount Pleasant. We spent two nights at the hotel. I thought they did a great job taking care of us. The entire staff, from the people working the door to the general manager, did a great job. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxury getaway in Charleston.

We had an outstanding stay in Hotel Bennett: excellent staff - only to mention a few of them: world’s best concierge team with Cassandra, Kevin and Joseph, very nice and helpful service in „Gabrielle“ . We enjoyed our stay a lot and will come back for sure !

We highly recommend the Hotel Bennett. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel we were warmly greeted by bellman Kevin. He made us feel very welcome by giving us a tour of the features of our room. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and very calming. We truly liked every aspect of the hotel. The service is exemplary. We loved getting our coffee and our pasties each morning at the Le Patisserie. We also loved getting to know the bar tenders at Camilla's caviar bar. We will for sure stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to our friends who are visiting Charleston.

This hotel is amazing.

The room was so pretty, comfortable and quiet. The bed was so comfortable and had lots of fluffy pillows. The stand alone bathtub was awesome. The lobby is gorgeous. The patisserie has amazing food. My only complaint is that the pool is small. Do not come here for a resort type pool experience. There is not enough room for all the pool guests to have a lounge chair. In fact, there’s only maybe 16 lounge chairs, but the view from the rooftop is amazing and the quality of the hotel and the service more than make up for the small pool. The location on King Street is also great.

We have been to the Rooftop a few times. Each time we were not disappointed. The drinks are amazing and the service was exceptional. I have to give an extra shout out to Cooper. He was there each time we visited and his service and attention was remarkable. We bring my granddaughter with us and he always remembers her and has something to make her feel extra special. Cooper is amazing and such an asset to the atmosphere at the Hotel Bennett rooftop.

We stayed this past Sunday to Wednesday. We stayed in a suite with a pull out. We truly loved our room and every person we talked to was so nice. The concierge got us in last minute Monday night (many were closed due to holiday) at a lovely place bistronomy on spring street . Thank you! Most of all the drinks at the rooftop were delicious. Our breakfast at Gabrielle's was excellent and all the valet guys super nice. Lastly our last day our flight was cancelled due to weather until 8:00 pm and they allowed us a late check out- this meant so much in a stormy day. Thank you Bennett we will be back!

The hotel is simply not a 5 star hotel. The service was tremendously lacking. It was warm and 75 on two different days. The pool was open, towels laid out. NO service at the pool to order water, a drink or food.
As guests left, dirty towels and trash stayed behind ALL day. The service in the bars was mediocre at best. Dirty glasses and dishes sat around the bar area. The bartender in the main bar areas was not polished and didn’t understand how to speak to guests or treat guests IF this is a 5 star hotel. The VIP lounge doesn’t hold a candle to the VIP lounge at Charleston Place. I was beyond disappointed I chose to stay here for 4 nights versus The Dewberry or Charleston Place after the lack of attention to detail and care. The hotel was a huge disappointment.

I think I will forgo Hotel Bennett and stay at the Frances Marion next time. It’s just not worth the price. We booked a suite and it was nice enough but not what one would expect for a luxury hotel. We were also chastised by room service for having a “do not disturb” sign on the door. She lectured us on how we should not have the placard up when someone is bringing us in-suite dining. We apologized, but it was super awkward and uncomfortable. I wish instead of scolding us, she would have said it nicely. Room service also called us at 9 PM to ask if we were finished and if we could please put our dining table outside of our room. I have never been pressured like that before by a hotel to immediately clean up and return the dining cart. I don’t know, the experience was so off-putting, especially for how much we spent.
