Our family stayed in May over a long weekend. Very nice experience overall. The beach is excellent and we enjoyed having access to the chairs and umbrellas. Also enjoyed taking a break from the ocean by using the pool and lazy river. Excellent service.... Helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are relatively inexpensive, which the hotel definitely makes up for in services, food, and drinks, but those extra costs put it in line with the other hotels in the area. The rooms could use a refresh but nothing egregious. I would stay again, very nice!

We stayed here two weeks ago for 6 nights. What a nightmare! No one answers at the front desk when you call down, I had to ask 3x for a crib for my daughter. The shower was dirty with other peoples hair/grime on the walls, I had to ask 4x for it to be cleaned and got nothing but attitude from the staff. One of the “managers” told me they would have it cleaned while we were at dinner, we returned to a dirty shower but a plate of chocolate covered strawberries with an apology note from her that they had cleaned it… It still wasn’t clean after 2 people came in the next day. It became so complicated and honestly ruined part of my trip having to deal with this. They truly made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. The bedroom light would randomly turn on by itself in the middle of the night, waking us up. No one seemed to care when I told the front desk. Honestly, the location and resort are great but the customer service really ruined it for me. You would think the rate you’re paying you would get top notch service but not here!! I requested a manager to call me and speak about this the day we left (5/31) and have yet to hear from them.

Great location with seaside/ocean view balcony and steps down from the rocking chair lined porch to the beach. Great sunrise viewing. Staff are friendly from Valet only parking ($55/day), umbrella/chairs/towels at the beach, and chair side food/drink services (tips very appreciated). The room was spacious with a separate lounge room from the bedroom, balcony, and modern amenities bathroom. Mini fridge and snack bar stocked (pay for what you consume). We had dinner in the Lounge by the pool, breakfast in Ocean 2000, and room service dinner (pricey)/Ocean 2000. Overall, very friendly knowledgeable staff, however the food didn't have much flavor. Better food options supporting other local businesses, see Google or Yelp. There is a daily Resort Fee $52 and 20%+ fee automatically added to restaurant bill (401k, training, employee benefits etc. (something like that) ), ti additional. It's a nice place to spend a week or long weekend, good location with the beach & restaurants in the area, and friendly knowledgeable staff.

Amazing location, the resort is right on the beach and you are steps away from the ocean. The pool is also nice and includes a lazy River. The suite we booked had an amazing ocean view. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The valet staff had my car ready fast every time and they even loaded my luggage for me so we could enjoy the pool and beach after check out. The food and drinks were also very good.

Also felt pressured to tip the beach staff, even though the chair service was included with my room. In addition, the pull out sofa bed in the room was very uncomfortable.
Overall, it was a great stay and I’d consider staying here again next time I’m in Fort Lauderdale.

The location of this hotel is absolutely phenomenal—right on the beach with stunning views and easy access to the ocean. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, offering a relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the food, especially at Ocean 2000, which delivered exceptional meals and great service.
However, for the premium price, the property could use some updates in certain areas to match expectations. Also, the $55 per night parking fee feels quite steep. Overall, it’s a great stay with a prime beachfront location and excellent dining, but some improvements would make it even better value.

My husband and I just spent 4 nights here for our honeymoon (May 2021). We had a great time! I was hesitant when reading the reviews, but we did not experience any of the problems mentioned. The staff were very friendly, everyone looked like they were happy at work, we found seats by the pool and beach right away, and housekeeping came to our room every day. We had great drinks at the bar and felt so welcomed by the bar staff, especially Lea, Brenden and Navard. Susan at Pure Spa gave me a great massage! Be aware that there is a parking fee due to limited parking, but the valet always had our car ready as soon as we asked for it. I can't say enough good things about Pelican Grand!

We enjoyed every moment at the Pelican Grand. The staff was the best. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from the car service and restaurants to the spa! The pool workers were very helpful and full of positive energy. Brian, John and McErvin made our days at the pool so much fun. They constantly checked that we had everything we needed. The spa was by far the best we've had! The rooms were clean and spacious. We will definitely stay here again!! Thank you to the Pelican Grand team for making our mini-vacation perfect.

+ Just a little off the main strip but nicely quiet. Great service and lovely food, tasty and fresh. Very nicely appointed room with lovely views. The room was spacious and the layout with the dividing door into the living area with the convertible bed was perfect for our family. Very clean hotel and cleaning staff were pleasant. Great, amazing staff that were just so friendly and always ready with a smile and prompt service.20.04.2018
Great resort! Private beach for hotel guests, ice cream parlor in the gift shop, and two restaurants on site (One fancier and one more casual with a bar). The pool is heated (which is very nice for the "in between seasons" months) and the lazy river is a nice touch. The restaurants and even room service are a little pricey, but the food is delicious and the convenience is something to consider so it's worth it.
