Listen, this hotel gave an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were absolutely AMAZING!!! The rooms were clean and spacious. I had a couple of issues with my room and upon checking in, but the staff did the best they could to rectify things. One of the lovely managers left a beautiful gift in our rooms, of champagne and gourmet chocolates!! Such a thoughtful gesture. The valet staff were fabulous and prompt even when they were swamped! The lobby, bar, and restaurant were wonderful. The location of the hotel wasn’t the greatest for me, but for the Houston area, it was great. Overall a very great stay and experience.

Food and drinks from the bar and restaurant where fantastic. Outstanding service from one of the bartenders, named dean. This bartender made time for great customer service and great cocktails while being extremely busy! We will definitely be back.

This hotel seems to be chronically understaffed. Between the front desk and the bar on my first night, I spent more than 90 minutes waiting in line to check in, pay for parking, for food, and to pay for the food. Having said that, all the staff were great, there just simply wasn't enough of them.

I was there for a conference, and the events area was well staffed, and the staff were great.

The shower in my room was very difficult and unpleasant to use. There was very little water pressure or volume, the temperature adjustment was very sensitive, and the shower/tap selector did not engage / popped off during my shower. There was no garbage can in the bathroom. Besides that, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I especially liked the paintings in the room. I was surprised how quiet the room was considering the window faced a busy freeway. However, the shower experience was so negative it overshadowed the good parts.

This hotel was the most AMAZING experience Ive ever had. We booked a room for the weekend for my daughters 7th birthday. They left a cake and candy in the room for her. Every time she walked by the front desk they reminded her it was her birthday and shes a princess. The service alone will make me book here again. Not to mention the beautiful views and extremely comfortable bed! Thank you to the staff, my family and I appreciate you so very much.

I went to the most beautiful wedding here two weeks ago here. It was one of the classiest weddings I’ve ever been to- beautiful and incredible service. All of the waitresses came out with drinks and checked on myself and the wedding guests often. The food was the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. Everyone was raving about the food, drinks, and service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. You wouldn’t know the hotel is animal friendly because of how clean it is, but it is and that is an added bonus! I wish i had had my wedding here!

Very good hotel. Very clean rooms of a decent size. The only problem was that the receptionist said the room was not ready and would call when it was. They never called. Maybe she had to leave early, it was Friday, who knows.. Regardless, would stay here again.
