The Maybourne Beverly Hills

My husband and I were excited to have a night away and stay at this hotel. After checking into our room which was beautiful we decided to go to the roof top pool to get some lunch since we were hungry and we were also looking forward to sitting in the spa. When we got up to the roof top pool we asked for an umbrella and were told they didn’t have any because the umbrellas were infested with mosquitoes so they had to get rid of them. Then we asked if there was a spa and they said it was broken. We decided to go back to our room and order room service. I also decided to call and speak to the manager about my disappointment with the pool. The manager told me the spa has been broken for a year! I cannot believe a five star hotel can get away with this kind of service. While on the phone with the manager our room service arrived and our order was wrong! All we wanted was two burgers without cheese and they came with cheese on them. They remade them without the cheese and got the temperature of the burgers wrong. The manager was aware of the room service issue and assured me he would call back but I never received a follow up phone call. I can’t believe a five star hotels gets away with this kind of service, very disappointing!
