The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans is a French Quarter luxury hotel where the city comes to life as soon as guests cross the threshold of the historic luxury hotel. Set within the 1908 Beaux Arts Maison Blanche building, our hotel highlights traditional Southern ambiance with an elegant interior that reflects the graciousness of Garden District mansions.

Hotel opened in 2000, renovated in 2011. In this hotel 527 rooms, 14 floors.

Perfect location- close enough to the action and far enough to still get some sleep at night. The hotel is beautifully and features stunning french architectural that elevates the luxury. Will definitely stay here again.

Best stay in New Orleans
I've stayed in many hotels here in New Orleans and my stay here at the Ritz was by far yhe best outside of the Roosevelt. Everything was to perfection, and the staff was exceptional!

Hotel is great except for booking thru ******* screwed us. Booked and paid for room for 3. Gave us 1 bed until we paid extra $400. 3rd party booking crap. I don’t trust ******* prices anymore. 3rd time getting screwed by *******. I’m done

Beautiful hotel and room. Good location. It was chilly and rainy during our stay. It was difficult to keep our room warm. Housekeeping did not enter our room when the privacy sign was NOT displayed resulting in no service during our stay. Granted, my husband was not feeling well and spent a lot of time in the room. But, I do not think it unreasonable to hope that they come in while we are not in the room and the door tag is not out.

Stayed for two nights for a wedding reception in the ballroom where Iwas the live painter. I loved the beauty of the historic building. So many gorgeous original oil paintings. As an artist, I appreciated all the attention to detail from the ceiling to the floor in every space. The valets were so courteous. It was wonderful to have the car tucked away and to load and unload in the lovely covered driveway, out of the pouring rain! Even waiting for the car there was pleasant with a stately lion head fountain. We love being in walking distance to everything in the French Quarter!

Just a wonderful location with excellent staff. Enjoyed every moment! Quiet rooms, comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. The room service food was tasty and the Davenport Lounge was top tier.
