Thompson Central Park - New York

Amazing location. Rooms were spacious. Beds on small side but comfy. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful. The only cons: room had a musty smell and if you tell a 10 yr old you are going to send her something for her birthday, follow through! She was super excited when the front desk said they wanted to celebrate her birthday at check in and then super disappointed when they never followed through. Would stay here again.

My daughter and I decided to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in the city. Some catch up time at a prime location close to all the attractions, the parade, and great restaurants. As an Elite member, check in was a breeze. I recommend downloading the app for quick access to updates regarding your reservation. We were accommodated on the 19th floor in a king room. The room smelled clean, was spacious and was equipped with all the necessities. We had ample towels, robes, slippers, a Nespresso, and complimentary bottles of water. We dined at the Burger Joint hidden behind a red curtain just past the lobby. A no frills solid burger joint. We mostly dined out but did enjoy a night in with room service on our last day. Room service was promptly delivered. Throughout our stay, the staff from front desk, concierge, and room service were all extremely courteous, helpful, and professional. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again in the future.

My family stayed here for marathon weekend. We had two rooms that connected. The rooms were a nice size for NYC, clean and comfortable. We even had a view of Central Park even though I booked their basic room. I thought the service was great. Anytime I called down for something we needed it didn’t take long to get brought up to our room. Great location for the marathon very close to Central Park. I would stay again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Thompson Central Park for our anniversary. The junior suite we had was great for the 2 of us! All the staff were friendly and kind! Breakfast at Parker’s was great! Location was superb. We took advantage of being so close to Central Park to do a bike ride in the park! We walked down to Broadway and Time Square easily. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in NY. Highly recommend!

Being right within walking distance of everything mid-town has to offer is amazing. Walk to central park is 3 blocks. Similarly, Times Square, the other direction. Just steps away from Carnegie Hall and a few blocks to Rockefeller Center. Nice accommodations, friendly staff and good service. Super!

We have stayed at several different hotels while visiting New York and this is the best so far. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is beautiful, the front desk staff were very accommodating. Location is great, just a few blocks from Time Square, Central Park and Broadway. They have two restaurants on site...the Knave restaurant is great for light bites but a bit pricey; however, the ambience is wonderful and it's worth at least one visit. Beds are very comfortable. Only negative was the air, our room was warm the entire stay. Of course, the weather was unusually warm for April...mid to high 70's which may have been part of the problem, but we couldn't get the room to cool down at all. Nonetheless, on future trips to New York, we plan to stay at this hotel again. Really enjoyed...book early for best pricing. Also, it would be worth it to pay a little extra and get breakfast included.

Thank you for your hospitality. We had great time there. Location is perfect. Burger place inside. Starbucks is across the street. Pool on the roof. Clean, quiet. What else do you need? Another vacation!
