Reviews
I do love the rooms here and will stay here any chance I get. Just don't expect much from the staff.
Everyone at the front desk was kind and helpful, especially Victoria.
Cons: I was honestly really upset though when I sat on the bed (Room 1409) and it was uncomfortable, lumpy and squeaky. I had a wedding to attend the next day and yet I only got 4 hours of sleep and an achey back :( when I called in the morning, Victoria kindly got me booked into Room 924. The bed was only moderately better.
I don’t think it’s particularly cool to
advertise an indoor swimming pool on the website when in reality—you receive access to go swim at the Duniway down the street. Anyone who has walked in wet bathing suits and flip flops knows that is not going to happen.
Pros: The room was clean. It was nice to see clean sheets with no stains, as well as a clean bathroom.
The view (for both rooms) was pretty and made me happy. It was really a treat to get to look outside and see gorgeous yellow maple trees covered in crows.
It’s really not in a bad part of town. Some of the reviews I’ve read must be from people who haven’t experience truly rough parts of town. I was expecting similar to the Tenderloin, and instead I felt a lot safer than I do back home.
It’s kinda crazy that a cup of coffee costs $5.50 down at the restaurant—but the crab grilled cheese made up for it! A plus+!!
Azriel made sure everything was seamless from start to finish, Danny brought great energy and attention to detail, Sergii’s professionalism was unmatched, and Robert tied it all together with excellent service and hospitality.
You can tell this team truly enjoys what they do — it shows in every interaction. Thanks to them, we left smiling and already planning our next stay. Hilton is lucky to have a crew like this!
Location was perfect - close to everything. Gym was excellent. Restaurant very nice and the bar was lovely.
Building is on the older side, but the room was large and very comfortable. No complaints at all.
In addition, there was no self service laundrette where we could wash our laundry.
The cleaner who did our room did not do a good job with the toilet - I kept seeing the same cotton bud on the floor next to the bin for the whole time that I was there.
Also the room size is rather small for what should be able to accommodate 4 persons.
