My wife and I come to Portland once a month, but our first stay at this property was October 8 through October 15th. And now, we will not stay anywhere else going forward! The service and location are both fantastic
Hands down he is the best I've ever experienced in a lounge! Thank you Marriott! In addition to a great property and location, I don't know how you've kept such an amazing staff, but you did
If you can wait til 8 or 9 there is a better chance of getting on the treadmill. Within walking distance of shops and many restaurants. Parking is crazy expensive though at $45 per day
We are Titanium Elite with Bonvoy, and we were treated so well. I don't think it was because of our status, but I do think it is just your norm. Our room (1415) view was spectacular
By himself, he made sure the food was fresh, presented well, he cleaned constantly, and kept an eye on every guest to make sure their needs were met
Reader Bar off the lobby was fantastic. I wanted blue cheese olives, so he made them for me. He has a ton of longevity there and he loves his job

As a Hilton Honors member I could check in online and use my phone as my room key, so could just head for the room when I arrived. Nice looking room with large windows and all the amenities one would need
We didn't expect to, but we dined in the hotel restaurant for lunch, and then dinner. Initially out of convenience, the quality drew us back for a second meal. The mushroom soup is absolutely BRILLIANT
Modern yet comfortable. Sophisticated. Bathrooms are odd with translucent doors. Good in hotel restaurant. The coffee shop is great. Bar's always busy - prices are high, but conveniently located.
Stayed here when we were in town for a show at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. The hotel decor was grand and exquisite, and the room was beautiful and clean. The staff were wonderfully helpful
Cozy tavern in the lobby area with a semi-decent beer selection. The staff was polite and helpful
I loved the cup at lunch and just went with the bowl for dinner

We normally don't eat at the hotel restaurant but for convenience we did so twice. The food was very good and not over priced. The staff was very friendly and offered information that enhanced our trip
Hands down the best customer experience I’ve ever had at a guest accommodation. Nothing was too much for the entire team who are sincere in their desire to ensure you have a wonderful stay
The customer service was great, we were going to buy toothpaste but they gave us some for free. Also they were giving everyone free cookies. The room was pretty, with a nice view of the neighboring park
Our family had a great time in Portland over the Presidents Day weekend. The Double Tree is located within a short walk to their mass transit system. This makes it so easy to get around
I have stayed at over 75 Hilton locations, and this was hands down best in class service. The staff was friendly, genuine, and caring, which trumps any amenity or feature
This hotel was in a great location, it was a short and easy ride on the MAX train from the airport, and the hotel was right next to where I had to go

There is something that is a little disappointing. The restaurant is closed and there isn't much of a limited menu. However, the staff here are very pleasant and the cleanliness of the hotel exceeds all expectations
If you decide to stay here, you definitely won't be disappointed. Check in quickly and make sure you schedule a pool time if you want to swim. I know it sucks, but it's temporary and to keep everyone safe
They really make sure your stay is comfortable and if you need anything they will do it for you straight away. I would like to honestly give them 10 stars. The staff there made our stay worth every penny
They compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually their prices are much lower than others! You'll thank me later! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I've lived here for many years
This is MY GO TO Hotel when I stay in Portland! Very friendly, respectful and genuine staff. I feel warm and very welcome here at this Boutique Hotel. The rooms are nicely appointed
The service of this place makes is of course what makes it stand out. also there is a new coffee place that for non alcoholic drinkers makes a really great addition to the place

This hotel is definitely up and running despite what some of the other reviews say about it being closed. It’s a lovely place, great location, clean and comfortable rooms
The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are exemplary. When we were bummed about the rooftop bar temporarily being closed, the manager Katie went out of her way to accommodate us and make sure we had an amazing stay

The only thing lacking is that the rooms didn’t come with a microwave, lotion, or extra toilet paper. Also, the bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn’t entirely close all the way
Pretty solid stay for our first time in Portland! Location was close to public transportation, they had a nice rooftop deck, and the breakfast spread was extensive
I never expect much, but I can say, this was the first property I’ve stayed where I wasn’t thanked for my loyalty, nor offered the few perks that come with that (such as free bottled water, room upgrade, late checkout, etc)
So, in conclusion, I probably wont stay at this property again because I know I can get a bit more of a thoughtful experience elsewhere. But if you do find yourself here, you’ll probably have a fairly good experience
Not to mention, when I first got to my room, it was full of cigarette smoke. Yes, they did re-accomodate me, but even just the experience of that left a bad impression on me especially given the other misses
This is in contrast to the Residence Inn by Marriott, a few blocks north, that always blows me away with their thoughtful touches and overall guest experience

Stayed before and after the renovation and each stay was great. Spacious rooms and suites are incredibly comfortable and have a vintage feel while still maintaining modern comfort. Great location in the city center
In my opinion the whole thing is a 5 star hotel. The staff couldn't have been better, the hotel is a piece of living history, very well maintained and conveniently located in the city centre
We had an enjoyable stay for the weekend. Our room on the 9th floor had comfortable beds and a decent amount of space. We had no view on our side of the hotel which is unfortunate but not really under their control
There was either no bathroom fan or it wasn't working but otherwise the bathroom was reasonably modern and clean. The lobby was a great place to hang out and talk, or just to sit and read
Fabulous old hotel with a stunning lobby draped in paneled wood and old elegance. The staff was wonderful with turndown service each nice (chocolates on the bedside, of course)
Rooms are comfortable and the location can't be beat; many of the best places to go are walkable or easily reached by getting on the MAX at a nearby stop

This is our first time staying here. There are many attractions nearby. There is a decent food truck 3 miles from the hotel that has many options such as Italian, Mexican, Indian, smoothies, etc
Nice rooms and friendly staff. Close to the convention center. Rooms come with aroma therapy kits and shampoo/lotion/etc. that are nice. The only hotel room I've stayed in that has a recycling bin.
The city center is very close to this hotel. The rooms are nice and tidy and have a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker
Beautiful hotel! Gave us a free upgrade due to unavailability of rooms. Love love love this hotel! Only downside was very limited self parking. They rent out parking spaces during events forcing you to pay for valet
The pool was lovely, my son adored being able to kick and splash freely. The only downside we experienced was being right next to the stairwell going outside, which was used frequently all through the night
The rooms were absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing and overall the experience was very good. It was also one of the cheapest places I've stayed, which surprised me with the level of service

I live 30 minutes away but I stay here for the modern downtown experience and sexy ambiance. I love the rooms, the soft pillows and Sicilian soaps provided in the sleek bathrooms
Very good, good location, close to the university, walking around is good, breakfast is simple. The air conditioner is not very hot and the hot water is a bit lukewarm.
Some figures in the bathroom were a bit rusty and aged, desk in the main room looked like it had been through a battle with a handful of deep scours (to the point where I had to take pictures to ensure I wouldn't be charged with damages)
The valet was short-staffed, 3 out of the 5 times I needed to pick up my car there was no attendant present, witnessed other guests confused upon arrival to the hotel wondering where attendants were
It is the only place i will stay at when I’m in town. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are very comfortable
Great hotel with attention to detail when it comes to design and service. Rooms featured some pretty fancy features, toiletries had a great scent, and bed was cozy

This is a pet friendly hotel which made my 1 year old happy with all the pets around. Pets are greeted with water and a treat! They have happy hour from 5-6pm with wine, beer, snackss, and a live music
I haven't stayed at IHG hotel for awhile, I'm glad I did. This cute boutique hotel had amazing customer service. The staff there are very attentive where every guest had a smile
Beautiful hotel with amazing service. My significant other was celebrating a very special occasion and Sasha Miller (concierge) made everything picture-perfect
Very helpful for last minute bookings. They also have a Tesla charger in the garage! This was a huge bonus! I'll definitely be back!
I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Portland

Well priced and central location. Easy Checkin process.
And when the flight was cancelled, they were very kind to let us stay in the same room for the night, a huge relief! Immaculate room, I love the modern clean bathrooms and the overall decor of the room!! Highly recommend!!
Almost everything, Monica at the front desk had us all prepare a taxi to go to Kennebunkport and back at a reasonable price. And when you needed help with your flight passes, they helped you print them in no time
Will be my first choice for a hotel next time I'm in Portland. Nice area, cool lobby, clean and inviting rooms. Has a unique vibe that worked for business, but would also be good for couples or a solo vacation.
I wanted to wait until our stay was complete here to give a true assessment of the place. These are tough times for the hospitality industry and hotels are finding creative ways to keep their guests engaged
And when flight canceled they were very accommodating letting us stay another night in same room, huge relief! Room spotless, love the modern clean bathrooms and overall setup of room!! Highly recommend!!

stay here whenever I'm in Portland. Great location, ez access to downtown and Saturday Market. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. free breakfast is tasty and diverse. Custom omelettes are money! Nice pool/hot tub
Noise from the hallways can be a bit louder than expected but just close all bedroom doors and it will help. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Tons of kids in the lounge for breakfast and happy hour and very noisy
Not a place for that at this nice hotel. The building is historical and beautiful. The food at breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable. Couldn't give 5 stars due to the rude behavior at the front desk
The staff at the front counter is mixed for quality. One woman at the front counter made sexual jokes to my coworkers and I that were subtle at first but very direct when we returned from dinner
Comfy and spacious room (for two). Great evening drinks and snacks. Lots of options for breakfast. Thanks for letting us borrow a phone charger when ours stopped working
Old fashioned hotel that still maintains the charm of the original hotel. Rooms are large suites that are comfortable and well equipped

The location is good, very close to the conference center. The room was not cleaned in a timely and thorough manner.
Location was convenient to transportation options to get you all over the city and just a short walk to the Rose Quarter area. Overall a great stay with memorable staff!! I look forward to booking this hotel again
Only had breakfast at BLVD but it was excellent and not overpriced. The market store came in clutch for some late night snacks and mid day soda's and beverages; and again items were reasonably priced
We had a good night stay with our furbaby. Dinner and breakfast was really good. We even got a chance to enjoy the gym. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only downside is valet only parking and it's $26. But, it's better than street parking. Fairly quiet even though the walls and windows are very thin
I had s perfectly fine stay here. Room was clean quiet and the lobby was as well! Ordered food for dinner came at a reasonable time too

The bed was a little hard for us, but we asked for extra pillows and a blanket, and it was left for us. Valet parking is pricey but not a ton of other options. They took great care of our vehicle
They compare countless hotel sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in this area. I've been coming here for a long time
I stayed here for two weeks with work and loved it. Great deck, hearty morning breakfast and a welcoming bar at nice. Close to all of the downtown action, but in its own quiet little neighborhood
Again, with this place. The best of it all are the staff. Yes the room is always clean the service was remarkable. The front desk agents, the valet guys and Kelly at the bar! Fantastic people.
My husband surprised me for my birthday, and it was a wonderful time. The hotel is walkable to the waterfront, parks, food, and a few shops. They had hot/cold breakfast choices from 7 to 10 a
Easy access to the shops and river boardwalk as well! No problems keeping my bicycle in the room and getting it in the elevator. and the best part, the rooms have kitchens! I will be back!

Staff were so friendly and helpful. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because parking is street and the walls are so thin. I could hear my neighbors whole convo. The room, bed, and shower were great
That was clearly over-optimistic. We rented out the downstairs space one evening for a large dinner. I think it's a new hotel, and they may have a few things to work out, but I'd happily stay there again
I stayed at the hotel in July 2021. I'd definitely stay there again. The hotel and staff were wonderful. We had a large group, gathering for the first time in what we hoped was post-pandemic
Super nice hotel is connected to bar. Staff at bar were excellent too
This is still true, however this exact spot/area is on the edge and up against a very large homeless encampment area, so the homeless encounters were far larger here than most other areas and places we went to in the city, or if we had stayed at a different hotel
Great place to stay. Centrally located, nice rooms, quiet block, and very friendly staff. Rachel at the desk had great recommendations for everything. Sean was easy going and was slinging really good drinks.

There was a lot of construction noise the first time I stayed but it seems like it has stopped. Definitely give this hotel a chance, it's probably one of my favorite places to stay (in the US) and it's women owned!!!
Amazing room, the hotel showcases some phenomenal architecture and decor. My only complaint is no coffee in the rooms, you have to head down to the lobby (although you can request it be brought to your room in advance)
Hotel is in a good location, with a Target walking distance, and a short walk to public transportation! Overall we were very pleased with our stay, and would definitely recommend to a friend and would stay again 😊
The hotel is stylish and in a nice location. The lobby is beautiful and has a great coffee shop that many people use in the morning and work from. The restaurant is great too, tasty food and wonderful drinks
I've stayed at this hotel twice now and it's so beautiful every time. The staff is fantastic and so kind. Isabelle gave us amazing recs in the area. The room is so clean and spacious
Amazing hotel, staff and rooms. I had a great coffee and delicious bakery item every morning of my 5 day stay. The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants and shopping

Nice central location to travel to various locations around the PDX metro
Lovely historic hotel in downtown Portland. Centrally located with easy freeway access. I would have liked the option to mark my own car, as they offer valet only other than that it was a near perfect stay.
Great walkable location in the city, nice staff and unique styling! Tiny rooms, but everything else made up for it.
Combination of old-school and hipster charm Room was fairly small (the whole place feels very European) but really charming, comfortable and clean. Staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. definitely recommend.
Decor was artfully done in the decor matching the art deco architecture right down to the furniture and radio on bed stand! Complimentary happy hour and free old fashioned pinball machines
I've been visiting Portland semi regularly since 2009. This is my new favorite hotel. What a vibe! Good safe parking garage across the street under the Union Bank building as well

Bed is very comfy, wifi excellent, staff friendly and efficient. Location is very good, central and close to the train stop. Overall, very pleasant stay, including a free glass of wine in the evenings!
If it were a cold winter during the snow season, many of Portland's hill-dwelling elites would call this a home away from home. The Driftwood Lounge is a cozy, romantic little bar, dimly lit and welcoming
Hands down my favorite hotel in Portland. The rooms are nice it has a classic old Portland vibe and rightly so as it's one of the older luxury hotels in Portland
Gracie's restaurant has amazing food like their famous german pancakes which are to die for!
For a short stay, like one or two days at most, I would recommend this hotel. Toiletries, though it was limited to one small body wash and one small soap. In my opinion, it would be better if they provided two of each
We stayed one night at Hotel Deluxe in a room with one queen bed, booking through Hotwire for the second time after our first visit in 2023. The rooms are on the smaller side due to recent remodeling
