We were very disappointed with this hotel. Paid parking was difficult at best and not for SUV's. One space we had to leave as we could not open a door. The room was dusty. The bathroom had peeling paint. One corner was missing and cracked. Wood cabinet was peeling too. The bed was comfortable and tv was good size. The mini fridge was exactly assorted. The balcony on the 10th floor was scenic. A port DJ party was extremely loud and invaded our private space. I would never use them again. I would however visit Claim Jumper again. That was the highlight of this hotel.

We just came back from thankfully only a 1 night stay. This hotel is disgusting. We slept with our clothes on and wrapped plastic from the disposable cup around the remote. The moment we stepped into the lobby I knew this was not going to meet our basic expectations. Immediately after checking in we were greeted by an employee trying to rope us into a 90 minute tour of a hotel in order to get free zoo tickets. Get lost. Go up to the room, dirty patio, sticky dirty remote, mattress has unknown brown stains, toothpaste splattered onto mirror and backsplash, hair in the shower. Shower has two settings - scalding and off. During the night it sounded like chairs were being slid around the floor above. Don’t bother responding with “I’m sorry our hotel didn’t meet your expectations”. We stayed at another hotel nearby that was very clean and comfortable.

This was a work-related trip, so it wouldn't be a place I would personally choose. But what was memorable?
My co-workers and I found that the bathrooms had a weird smell. The rooms were plain. Nothing to hype about. Balcony rooms available, some facing the bay or city. I woke up and opened my shade to a huge cruise ship, pointed right at me. I was in Tower 3. So make sure you request what side you want to be in if you have a preference. They do have good security. To get to some rooms you have to go outside to a different building (towers) and you need a key card to get in and use the elevator. Because you are literally outside when you're going to your room.
And oh my, Wonderful Restaurants and Seafood everywhere. A pescatarian's or seafood lover's dream. They got steakhouses too. lol

This 3-star hotel seems to think it’s 5 stars. The front desk staff was friendly, but we were immediately approached by several concierge staff who felt pushy—likely trying to sell a timeshare—and it was hard to get away from them. There’s a small kiosk they call a café, but it’s only open weekday mornings despite serving alcohol. You get two free hot coffees per day, per room. The first day the staff was nice about it, but the second day we received attitude for not having a card to claim them.
Our room on the 9th floor of Building 2 had a nice ocean view, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the room smelled like sewage, and the toilet constantly leaked, which was likely the cause. Parking was $50 per day, which felt excessive. Overall, some positives, but several drawbacks made the stay frustrating.

I prepaid my stay here on an app. when I arrived they asked for a credit card for incidentals. Sure , nothing unusual. Be warned you’ll be charged a destination fee of $29.00 a day and $50.00 a day to park your car there. The destination fee was never mentioned to me until I got my bill and called. Shady. Wish they would have just told me upfront about the destination fee. Btw a destination fee is for the gym, eligible to get discounts at the restaurant, rent bicycles .. blah blah blah, none of these did I use.
As far as the hotel itself. Great location, clean but is a tad outdated, but I didn’t really care as I was just sleeping there. We had a balcony and it’s kind of scary. I sat on it one time and it felt like it was leaning. If you wanted to you could jump from one balcony to the next, they are that close together!! So if you get a balcony make sure to lock your screen, you might have visitors.
The staff here is supper amazing and friendly. Never had any issues with them at all 💗

Older hotel with great ocean view, but room prices were much more expensive when we purchased online compare to on sight.

Very old building. Poor lightings, pretty dark room. Bed was ok. Bathroom was pretty dark and there was no shower head. I appreciate the hot and cold water dispenser in the gym, very friendly front desk and of course, it was safe to park my car by the street. Location was great.

Excellent location and friendly staff. The rooms look a bit old and would need some renovation. Not many amenities in the hotel but we have all me need around. A bit noisy at the Pacific Dr is down the hotel, so earplugs are necessary on the bayside. This could be improved but all the windows would have to be changed for isolation (sound and thermic).
