Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel Old Town

Fantastic Stay- Perfect for Retreats and Getaways!
We recently hosted a retreat for 25 guests at this hotel and the experience was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, providing exceptional customer service that made us feel truly welcomed.

The meeting space what exactly what we needed, comfortable, well equipped and perfect for our group session.

The location couldn't be better, centrally located in Old Town, we were able to walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. Some of the rooms had breathtaking views of downtown San Diego.

I highly recommend this hotel for both business retreats and family getaways. We're already looking forward to returning! Thank Luis and his talented staff! 👏

It was huge! There were so many buildings that were a part of the hotel, it was cool! The restaurant attached was good. We arrived early, well before check in time and they let us store our luggage and wait in the lobby until a room became available. A room became available at 1pm and we were able to check in. The room was clean and spacious. The shuttle drivers were so nice and informative. They drove us to the port with no extra charge which was amazing! We enjoyed our time there. Thank you!

This hotel is an outdoor hotel with different buildings. I was in building 6. Parking is limited even though I paid for parking, I was not able to park in the garage because it was full. The room was large enough to fit 4 comfortably. The bed was comfortable, furniture outdated but I feel it gives it a nice charm. The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors but other than that the hotel clerk was very friendly and the views from the hotel is quite spectacular. The location was perfect, you are in walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants Overall it was a good stay and can definitely see myself booking with them again.

Very beautiful hotel, resort style.
Several small buildings are built on a small hillside. When I first arrived, it was a bit difficult to find because of the high and low places. Once you get familiar with it, it will be fine.
The buffet breakfast is rich and delicious, with a beautiful view.
Friendly and enthusiastic service.
The location is right on the edge of the old city, less than ten minutes walk from the old city railway station and bus terminal, and it is also very convenient for travel.

Gorgeous hotel with stunning architecture. Bonus points for having a covered parking garage and an incredible front desk team. Levon was very personable and welcoming, and Old Town San Diego is such a fun area to explore! I would highly recommend walking to Cafe Coyote for lunch (~1 min). The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is everything!

We held a 50+ person business event here for three days, and I was blown away by the professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail. The grounds feel like a resort with different buildings, fountains, and levels all with stunning views (and elevators for accessibility) location is in the heart of Old Town. We required a meeting room, tech, and meals during our stay and everything was delivered flawlessly. The rooms are older but spotless, and you can tell the hotel does their best to provide a five star experience. Food and drinks at their restaurant were great. I would definitely bring a team here again and recommend asking for Lynn if you are organizing any kind of group event- they went above and beyond expectations and met all of our needs. Thank you for a great stay!

The location is not bad and the room condition is not bad either. However, it is just about that and you don't have to expect much. Still, it has everything you need!!

The hotel is strategically located at the heart of the Old Town San Diego. However, hopefully next time they will provide better room services & also the lower floor rooms for families with kids. Because little kids get tired easily like senior citizens. Thank you!

The environment is great, but parking is not very convenient and you need to drag your luggage up the stairs.
