Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel in Umm Al Quwain

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an absolute disappointment. Here are the major issues I faced:

1. Overcharging for Everything: Every service was outrageously overpriced, making it feel like they were trying to squeeze every last penny from their guests.

2. Zero Hospitality: The staff showed no sense of warmth or hospitality. From check-in to check-out, the experience was unwelcoming and frustrating.

3. Outdated Rooms: The rooms are in dire need of an upgrade. They were far from the standard expected for the price paid.

4. Unaccommodating Reception: The reception staff were completely unhelpful. My stay over Saturday and Sunday was ruined due to their lack of professionalism.

5. No Trained Staff for Handling Dogs: The hotel claims to be dog-friendly, but there was no trained staff to handle situations involving pets. I observed dogs without leashes everywhere, which was both unsafe and against basic regulations. Any dog over 20 kg must be on a leash, especially on the main beach, but this was not enforced.

6. Manipulative Receptionist: One particular receptionist was manipulative and clearly trying to make a quick buck. This behavior was highly unprofessional and left a sour taste.

7. No Room Service: Shockingly, there was no room service available, which is a basic amenity at most hotels.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The management clearly doesn’t care about guest satisfaction or maintaining standards. I would not recommend this place to anyone for any reason.

Visited this resort last week, location is nice, beach is good but the dog feces was scattered on the beach sand which is very dangerous for the kids playing in the sands, owners and workers should maintain the cleanliness of the beach and nearby. It’s NOT a CHILD FRIENDLY resort, they put as on smoking room without even informing or asking us if it’s fine. We got surprised when we enter the room and the smell of the cigarette is si strong, my kids are complaining about the room but they didn’t di anything about it, they just keep on sprayinf an air freshener which just and mixed up with the bad smell. Many times I asked them to transfer in another room but it was all full as per them😡 Room was not clean as well. It’s the worst experience we’ve ever had. Will never gonna comeback on this resort. Not worth the price.

Been promoting and coming to this place a lots with friends and colleagues, but unfortunately will stop now. The rule of couples and groups is absolutely non sense to be honest. I have been many time to this place with my friends, and now wanted to come by myself (on the weekend when it’s empty honestly) and staff telling me only couple and groups are allowed, well, amazing 😆

Food and drinks are good tho.
