The Chedi Al Bait Hotel

We had a lovely staycation at this hotel. It’s in a charming historical area, making it a perfect getaway from the city’s traffic while still being accessible. The rooms were spacious, and it’s very baby-friendly; they provided us with a bottle warmer, sterilizer, and diaper bin, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options. The only downside was that, while most of the staff were very friendly, the reception could have been more welcoming.

The Chedi has to be one of the most beautiful hotels in the UAE. It is set in the Heart of Sharjah historical area, and consists of a number of carefully restored former houses and other buildings. Whilst a little confusing sometimes to navigate, you soon find your bearings and as you walk around you witness carefully designed and elegant backdrops, oozing old-world charm and serenity. We came to totally unwind and managed to do that with ease. The food and service was sublime. Lots of little unexpected but highly appreciated moments of generosity and attention to detail. Thanks to all the highly professional Chedi team for a wonderful stay.

We went off season, on a summer package. Had the place to ourselves. Staff super helpful and friendly (shout out to Bilal and Sam!), rooms are super stylish. Chedi is a quintessential boutique hotel, if you were missing a Gulf/Arab twist in local hotels, definitely go - the two-storey facilities are really charming. Definitely do the hammam, too, and the "Arabian Tea House" nearby.

If I can give 10 stars, I would. Without exaggeration, This is hands-down the best hotel I have been to in my life. They went far and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Especially the nice lady at reception. I am so sorry I forgot her name😔. The staff were all super friendly. The concierge, reception and restaurant staff. Each and every one of them were extremely hospitable. The decor was phenomenal, very traditional but still has modern day amenities. The food was amazing, I especially loved their 7 spice chicken salad, and their waffles at breakfast. We tried their spa. The massage was great. Thank you The Chedi al Bait Hotel for making our stay extraordinary.

We booked this property for our babymoon, as I wanted a different experience. The moment we stepped out of our car, we were greeted with a 'Welcome Home' by the security personnel, and it got repeated at the reception too. I was amused, because that's not something we hear very often at a hotel. But just by the end of the day, I understood they meant every sense of the greeting. Mr. Bilal, at the reception, upgraded us to an accessible room with patio, which was the nearest one to the restaurant, spa and pool. The bed in this room was lower and it made a huge difference to the heavily pregnant me. I had casually told the receptionist that I can't have sugar, and I was taken aback by surprise when the staff at the restaurants and the spa knew about it and went out of their way to accommodate my dietary restrictions. For the afternoon tea, Ms. Manisha thoughtfully ordered a sugarfree dessert for me as well. I felt truly pampered and cared for, by the entire staff, who were always pleasant and welcoming. They had one-of-a-kind prenatal massage, which was amazing. Ms. Betty, the masseuse, was extremely gentle and knew exactly what a pregnant woman needs. My husband was quite happy with the massage from Mr. Jomi as well. The property has a souk, library and museum as well, which is truly unique. Every corner of the hotel is beautiful - a true amalgamation of antique and luxury. The ambience, architecture and design was awe-inspiring. Mr. Saeed, the one who helped us with the luggage during check-out was a sweet and smiling man. We were thoroughly impressed and Chedi has set our bar up high for the hospitality we expect from now on. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time at this hotel, staying in the Chedi Deluxe Room, which was very comfortable. The antique-style furnishings, including the commanding bed, provided an authentic Arabian ambiance.

We dined at The Restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is beautifully decorated with classic Emirati design. For dinner, we enjoyed their new launch called ‘The Feast,’ a delicious tray comprising international dishes and a perfect treat for two people.

The hotel offers numerous facilities and amenities. The property includes an outdoor pool, spa, museum, library, fitness center, and much more.

This is a great place for a family staycation. Do visit for a memorable time.

This is an outstanding hotel. It is set in a delightful old villa with a traditional ambience. The staff are exceptionally friendly, obliging and efficient. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The food offerings were all delicious and beautifully served.

We stayed here for two nights at the tail end of our trip in the UAE. All the service staff (valet, restaurant, front desk, poolside) were very friendly and hospitable. The à la carte breakfast was excellent and the room was lovely (unique design and very cozy).

The location in Sharjah is alright if you drive. There are some museums nearby but not too many dining options.

Overall, loved our stay at The Chedi Al Bait. Thanks team for hosting us.
