Translated as The Home - the Chedi Al Bait Sharjah is a unique collection of five heritage houses once owned by local families. These houses are carefully preserved historic structures along with newer buildings have been united and transformed into elegant guest rooms and suites where Arabic influences meet GHM legendary Asian design elements.

It is the highlight of the trip to Sharjah! The welcome drink at the hotel is very delicious lavender juice, and there is a very detailed introduction, including the history of the hotel, the functions of each area, and the hotel museum.
The interior of the room is antique, but it is still comfortable, but there is a chair with too long legs, which often trips. 😂
The breakfast is not very tasty. I personally prefer buffet, but the hotel has a fixed set, only eggs and meat can be selected, and most of the rest are the same bread, bacon and fruit. The receptionist at the front desk is a little unskilled. At first, the wifi could not be connected and could not be solved. Later, I wanted to visit the Heart of Sharjah and seemed to not understand.
In addition, the service is also very enthusiastic, especially the concierge at the door, who is very proactive in helping to get a taxi. When I heard that I wanted to visit the nearby museum, I asked Buggy to take me there.

The hotel is very unique, it is a traditional Arab courtyard, located in the city but very quiet, suitable for family or couples to vacation.

Sharjah's unique five-star hotel is very traditional, special and mysterious. It is the old house of the four major local families. After entering, it is like a maze with various spaces giving you different experiences. The room is not big but the materials are very good. The bathroom is copper, which is very exquisite. The restaurant has a lot of food, which is Arabic flavor. You can experience it. Opposite the hotel is the Corniche, and the scenery is very beautiful. You can rest assured to stay in Sharjah without any pitfalls.

The hotel greeted guests with a welcome home, which was nice.
Due to the building structure, it was a bit easy to get lost when it first opened, but I think it was quite interesting. There was an unexpected view at the next corner. The overall environment was very comfortable. You can spend your time here lazily and enjoy the sunlight falling on the wall. The staff were very nice and the service was also very good.
The hotel breakfast was quite rich. You didn’t have to choose only one type of breakfast. You could choose a mix of different types. It didn’t matter if you couldn’t finish it. You could pack it up or take it back to the room.
The bed was very comfortable. I want to know the brand of the mattress.
The minor flaws in the ointment.
1. The toothbrush was particularly hard. Although the toothbrushes in other hotels we stayed in were also hard, this toothbrush was so hard that the gums couldn’t stand it. I suggest that the store change the supplier.
2. The water pressure was not enough. Maybe it was because the pipes and equipment were old? It was easy for the cold water to flow through the whole body when taking a shower.
I hope to improve the above two points and will stay here again.

We had a lovely staycation at this hotel. It’s in a charming historical area, making it a perfect getaway from the city’s traffic while still being accessible. The rooms were spacious, and it’s very baby-friendly; they provided us with a bottle warmer, sterilizer, and diaper bin, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options. The only downside was that, while most of the staff were very friendly, the reception could have been more welcoming.

What an absolute pleasure. Will go back again with other family members and friends. The whole place is beautiful and staff was AMAZING. The service was top notch and everyone had a smile and went out their way to help with anything. Luxury with calm and relaxed break. The female spa was great. Had the place to myself.

The Chedi has to be one of the most beautiful hotels in the UAE. It is set in the Heart of Sharjah historical area, and consists of a number of carefully restored former houses and other buildings. Whilst a little confusing sometimes to navigate, you soon find your bearings and as you walk around you witness carefully designed and elegant backdrops, oozing old-world charm and serenity. We came to totally unwind and managed to do that with ease. The food and service was sublime. Lots of little unexpected but highly appreciated moments of generosity and attention to detail. Thanks to all the highly professional Chedi team for a wonderful stay.
