Broadbeach Savannah Hotel & Resort in Gold Coast

The hotel is the worst hotel in my 40 years hotel stay for the 4 stars accommodations. It is not only dirty, but also the service staff is rude. Believe or not, they don’t do daily room cleaning, no shampoo, no body wash liquids and no moisture cream and even no face tissue. We have buy shampoo ourselves and face tissue as they are essential for staying. Even worse, we have been told that there will be $3 per towel if we ask for a changing towel. Come on, it’s rating as 4 star hotel and it’s not air bnb!!!. I don’t know how it’s rated as 4 stars, I felt be cheated. The staff member told me that because they are cheap then I got what it is. I paid more than $250 Australian dollars per night for this. I thought I will get 4 star services, but….. If I pay $250 per night for 3 stars hotel, then it is very expensive in July in Gold Coast.

Room had a single bed in it but when booked it advertised King bed and that’s what I wanted., couch had blood stains all over it, mould of back of shower door, shower had no pressure I could barely shower under it when I complained to staff they just said “oh that’s not good” I asked for a refund and they said they can’t do it as I checked in.
Advise you to go elsewhere as this is a very poor hotel, cleaner was even disgusted when she seen the blood over couch but then she just put a sheet over couch and said that’s all they can do as they are totally booked out.
When I asked to change rooms they said they put me on high level so I can see which I said I’m not here to see anything I’m here to sleep and I wanted a king bed like I ordered but they were booked out and can’t change me to king bed.

Paid $385 for 2 nights (which we don’t this is totally budget) for studio with spa bath - renovated.
Requested high level quiet room but was advised the renovated rooms are all on the second floor. We got room 200 which was what we felt the worst room being it was on the lowest floor and view and noise of the main road. Definitely didn’t want to be sitting on the balcony with constant traffic looking at us and inhaling the car fumes. The balcony sliding door had someone’s kiss marks all over it - just felt a bit grubby. And on departure today I found a piece of glass on the floor, so luckily none of us stepped on it.
Best thing about the room was the bathroom (which was the only renovated thing in the room).
We had no little table to put things on, and the couch looked like it has seen better days. Some smears and marks on walls and blinds. The kitchen tap was wobbly and hot water was minimal in kitchen. No wine glasses, only champagne, water and coffee cups. However the lovely receptionist quickly brought some up for us.
The pool and spa area was nice and enjoyable. The location great, but we will definitely be spending more money next time we come to the GC. Overall think other rooms in the resort could have been a bit better, but if that was a renovated room, definitely wouldn’t be going back.
Service was so lovely though, but that unfortunately didn’t make the stay anymore enjoyable.
