Astra Sydney North - Apex in Sydney

I stayed in the apartment for two months and had an excellent experience. The unit is functional, comfortable, and located in a quiet building with a supermarket right across the street. The neighborhood is perfect for walking around, with plenty of great places to eat and enjoy a drink. The Astra staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from start to finish. Highly recommended

Exceptional service by Manager John. I had surgery nearby at The Mater, he looked after my elderly mother with little extras that she needed, very friendly, efficient and professional. This put my mind at ease during a very stressful time. She felt very safe and looked after in the lovely clean apartment that had everthing she needed.

I booked a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment at Astra Apartments for my parents’ three-week stay (coming from the UK), and I can’t speak highly enough of John. He was incredibly flexible, accommodating, and easy to get in touch with throughout the process. I especially appreciated that he took the time to show me the apartment beforehand to make sure it would be suitable for my elderly parents.

When my parents’ flight was cancelled and they were delayed by a few days (after a stressful experience with a scam travel agent), John was so understanding and supportive. Having elderly parents in the UK himself, he really empathised with our situation and kindly adjusted our booking so my parents could stay later.

The apartment itself was perfect - clean, quiet, and equipped with everything they needed. The location was ideal too, right near the metro and just around the corner from where we live.

Thank you, John, for making a stressful situation so much easier and for ensuring my parents had such a comfortable stay. I’d absolutely recommend Astra Apartments to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience.

We had an amazing stay at Astra Apartments in North Sydney, The lady who checked us in was extremely helpful & explained how everything worked. The apartment we had was in a great location, very close to the metro, the bus & the train station. There was a woolworths supermarket within walking distance & an IGA next door, along with lots of great restaurants & cafes very close by. However, We would not recommend eating at the Rag & Famish a couple of doors down. I loved the full kitchen & laundry, we would definitely stay again

I booked a 7-night stay for the Sydney Marathon. The hotel is located in North Sydney, very close to the race starting point, and just a 5-6 minute walk to Victoria Cross Metro station.

My room featured a well-equipped kitchenette and was very clean. Housekeeping serviced the room every 1-2 days. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare Western-style pan-fried dishes, Chinese stir-fries, and light snacks. The soundproofing was also excellent.

The bathroom was a bit small. A minor drawback was that the shower only had an overhead rain shower, with no handheld option, which made showering slightly inconvenient.

An oven instead of a microwave would have been a great addition.

This hotel is located in North Sydney. I chose it because I was participating in a marathon and it's very close to the starting line. The rooms aren't particularly spacious, but they come equipped with a microwave, an induction cooktop, and cutlery for two, which is great for preparing simple hot meals. The bathrooms are quite small. I originally booked a double room through Ctrip as it was the only option available. However, upon arrival, I spoke with the hotel staff and they patiently helped me switch to a twin room. The staff member was very friendly and accommodating, which made my stay much more comfortable.

There's a well-stocked supermarket right outside the hotel. Also, Victoria Cross metro station is right at the doorstep, making it very convenient. It's only three stops to Chinatown and two stops to the Opera House, so the location offers excellent access to public transport.

Clean and spacious room. Easy access to everywhere and metro is just steps away.

The place was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly—I’ll definitely book again on my next business trip.
