Reviews
The Good:
· Clean & Functional Rooms: Our room was very clean and everything was in working order. The housekeeping and maintenance teams are doing a great job.
· Excellent Staff: The staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and created a welcoming atmosphere.
· Delicious Food: The food was a highlight—tasty, delicious, and felt like homemade meals.
· Great for Families: Perfect for a family vacation. Features include:
· A small playground for children.
· Face painting by the pool.
· A beach with a gentle, low walk-in entry into the sea, which is ideal for small kids.
· On-Site Amenities: The pool bar is a nice included perk. The daily ice cream and pastries were a lovely touch.
· Well-Kept Grounds: The hotel's territory is beautifully cleaned, maintained, and landscaped.
Points to Consider:
· Room Decor: The rooms are functional and clean but are in need of a little refreshing and modernisation.
· Beach Access: The path and area to the beach are disappointing. There is a significant amount of garbage, dirt, and dog mess, which is a stark contrast to the hotel's clean grounds. This seems to be a lack of local government maintenance rather than the hotel's fault.
· Location & Shops: The hotel is quite isolated. There are no proper shops nearby, only a small shop in a neighbouring camping area. A taxi to Sozopol costs around 8 EUR each way.
· Star Rating: Honestly, this feels more like a very good 3-star hotel than a 4-star one. Manage your expectations accordingly.
Verdict:
This is a solid, budget-friendly choice for families looking for a simple, relaxing vacation. The hotel itself is clean and well-run, but the surrounding area lets it down. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it with these considerations in mind.
quite quickly).
Another horrible thing is that 50% of the local guests smoke at the restaurant. And they don't just smoke one cigarette... they can smoke more than they eat, one cigarette after another and it's so common, that you can't find a seat without that awful unhealthy smell. I can't understand why it's not forbidden to smoke in the only one hotel restaurant!
Also, last year we had a very nice and helpful cleaning lady, but this time it was much worse - the new one was expecting us to leave the room as soon as she comes to clean around 9:15 AM (!) while we could actually still sleep there (we're on vacation and don't need to wake up early, right?). She was refusing to come later and for couple of days we couldn't get our room cleaned. I started to suspect she does it on purpose, just to have less work to do. Also, she didn't want to change our towels and bedsheets even if they were visibly dirty/wet and dropped on the floor. Once when we finally got our room visited by her, she just took the tip that we left for the service and she left it almost untouched, with dirty bathroom, missing shower gels and shampoos, I'm not even sure if the floor was cleaned... Btw, if you don't speak Bulgarian, don't even think you can communicate with her.
The room itself was ok, no luxury, but comfortable. Just one issue there - each year in each room we had a problem with the smell from the toilet... it's just the smell of old toilet which is there since the day 1, even if cleaned and nobody used it for a whole day. The animation team (two girls from Bulgaria this year) wasn't very interested in doing their job, unfortunately. It was much better last year, when there were two girls from Poland + one from Bulgaria, then they had more energy and will to keep the kids busy during the day. Otherwise, couple of advantages: very tasty food! It's really simple, looks like a homemade and tastes like a homemade as well. Again, no luxury, just simplicity, not too much to choose, but very very VERY tasty, even if doesn't seem just by the looks :) Location is also nice, just by the beach, but warning: there's no shop around, you have to take a walk to a small market at the nearby camping or take a taxi to Sozopol. Staff at the reception, bars and restaurant is very kind and helpful.
Pictures in Booking and other websites are from 10 years ago and they are not showing the current state of the premise.
It is very well worn and in bad state. They say there is parking but there isn’t. A few parking spots located inside the property are not for guest they are reserved for someone by the use of cones and 10 litres water bottles and you risk you car being vandalised , this is what the host say upon arrival.
We’ve been misled by the pictures and fake reviews

No waste food choices
Not wort the money we spend for 2 kids and 2 adults
