The half board is great, the food is delicious and the staff is smiling and friendly. One downside is they don't have bidet shower in the restrooms. Besides of that, the rooms are also cozy and comfortable. The mattress was on the soft side, which I personally dislike, but it's a matter of a personal preference. One think you should definitely experience are the small pools with hot mineral water in the forest.
Overall - a real 5 star experience, which is worthy the higher price.
The only points for improvement would be we struggled to communicate in English with some staff members and it would be good to have an option not to have dinner, as this you tend to over eat.
But we found the staff very friendly and often went beyond the expected. We also enjoyed their no child policy, which was a key attraction as we have stayed in other hotels where very young kids were not only allowed in the spa but were found in the saunas.
The hotel facilities and restaurant is amazing, but waking up in the morning to a cement truck under your window has just ruined our last few hours in the hotel.
Upon talking to the hotel about this , general manager Anna said “life is not fair”.
It seems there was a repair needed to be done and they wanted to do it on a Monday so not to interrupt the weekend guests , but to interrupt us is fine it seems.
We were offered a discount for the next stay which makes no sense as we don’t live in Bulgaria.
The attitude and service oriented understanding was completely lacking.
Very disappointed end of our trip in which the hotel failed completely.
It’s not that hard to understand and address guests in a proper manner, some arrangements can be done to alert guests , some adequate compensation can be done, but a total lack of empathy has been there and it’s a shame.
Also , don’t try to make a coffee in the room it’s impossible.

Although presented well, the main course food in the restaurant is completely tasteless. After the first dinner I opted only for salad bar as it was the better than the main courses offered. The hotel is located above the Kleptuza lake which is nice but also far from the town. 5lv espresso and 7lv for small not even free drinking water offered at dinner and if you order water get Bankya! So not the local one even.
Another thing that ruins the experience is the fact that guest disrespect the no smoking rules and they smoke those vapes and electric cigarettes everywhere (spa, restaurant, lobby…).
Overall the best thing about this hotel is the lack of kids but the price you have to pay for that privilege is too high compared to other spa hotels.
