We came to explore Toronto and chose Hotel de Paris for our stay. Receptionist Samuel was very sweet, polite, and helpful. I appreciate it a lot.
Regarding the hotel, perhaps more attention should be given to room maintenance. Additionally, the breakfast menu could include simpler options. Just a suggestion.

Booked a grande queen room, received a double bed. Was not informed while booking there wouldn't be a tub in the room and only a shower. Also room 25 has 2 windows, both have no view and one is right near a faulty light up sign that blinks through the curtains all night. Breakfast is a little lacking on quality, mostly cold cereal and toast, or bagels. Not to far from metro so that was a bonus.
Edit: Response to owner. The bed was a doube, I sleep in a queen normally.
Didn't include note of stained towels, wall outlet not secured to wall, TV without working TV remote, only cable box, screw popped out on floor on the guard between rooms. Stairs to building were not salted and had ice on them. Shower was a 2' square with not enough room to clean self properly.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel for the first time, and it was by far the worst experience I've ever had. One of the most disappointing aspects was the receptionist, a woman who embodied rudeness. Her lack of professionalism was astounding, and she seemed utterly disinterested in providing any semblance of customer service.
However, what truly raises serious concerns is the suspicion of fraudulent activity. After my stay, I discovered unauthorized transactions on my credit card exactly one month later. Upon further investigation, it became apparent that my personal and credit card details had been misused, and the only plausible explanation was that the hotel was responsible for the breach. This raises serious questions about the security measures in place and whether the owners and managers are aware of, or even complicit in, such activities.

The staff is very good and helpful. The horel is neat and well licated from the landmark areas. But beware the rooms in this hotel are tiny!!!!! Do not mistake them to be cozy!!! Just a bed and that is it!!!Put in a suitcase and you cannot even move! We saw a spider web in our room and requested for a change from our ground floor room. There are no lifts either. They were prompt to reply and moved us to the room on the 2nd flr which was even smaller and had a slanted roof. So we had lesser vertical space now. Do not recommend.

This is out second time staying at this hotel. We visited for the first time last December and loved it, so we wanted to come back in the summer. The staff is friendly, the hotel’s location is very good and the architecture is captivating. The rooms are a bit small, but it adds a very romantic atmosphere. Overall it has become our preferred hotel whenever we visit Montreal. Thank you for everything.

We were very pleased with our stay there. The room is spacious to fit in all the beds for five of us. The staff are very friendly and helpful from beginning to the end. We had a wonderful Thai dinner at Pamika which is conveniently located downstairs. The breakfast there is also great, one of the best we've ever had. We're definitely coming back!

The prices are good and the place is pretty clean. Be advised, they have two locations right across the street from each other, and the one on the north side of Sherbrooke is significantly nicer. We stayed in the 'annex' and it was a pretty basic hotel room but smelled of smoke despite being non smoking and the shower didn't work super well. The rooms are also tiny which wasn't an issue for us but if you have mobility issues I would keep it in mind. The breakfast was continental, with some good options but I would have liked more vegan stuff.

If you come to Montreal, don’t miss out a night here! Lovely building and I got a nice room. Pretty stuffs happening under the basement, reasonable price.

3 stars!!!! Nice little hotel in the Montreal area. We stayed for 1 night here. Clean room, but bathroom was tiny. There was a bar on the basement, but we went down there was nothing there. Overall not bad.

The room we booked, is not the room we got. The bathroom was tiny, and there was a horrible noise coming from a running toilet. We called the front desk, the assured they would do something and never did. We were also never made aware that we would be staying the annex across the street. It was noisy as all get out. The breakfast was self serve of soggy Costco bagels and mushy fruit. This Place is a disaster. When I called for a refund, it took me 4 calls to talk to the manger to get the refund. .This place is horrible don't waste money or your time staying here.
