This hotel is in a fantastic location in Montreal, everything right there. The hotel itself is a little different, not the crisp new build that sometimes we come to expect.
The premises are clean and cozy. The clientele is very good, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. As we sat in the lobby area enjoying breakfast croissants/orange juice/coffee, there was a positive hum of activity from other guests.
Most importantly, the staff at LHotel are young, professional, and willing to help. I have never experienced the complete effort this group exhibits at ever turn. Their welcoming approach to guests is refreshing. I would definitely stay at this hotel when returning to Montreal.

We loved our stay in Montreal at LHotel. It was the perfect spot to explore old Montreal and beyond. We stayed a total of 4 nights and we enjoyed its great location, amenities and they made us feel very special. It was an extended weekend get away for a special occasion as a couple.
It is such a unique hotel with an eclectic feel with very interesting decor and furnishings. Being in an older building doesn't mean it is not kept in good condition and we had no issues with anything during our stay. You are quite literally 2-3 blocks from the Notre Dame Basilica and Rue St Paul. There are countless restaurants within walking distance.
Without a doubt the best part of the stay was the people. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful, while patiently listening to us. From the bar staff who served breakfast, the house keeping staff, and to the valet and check in staff, everyone was wonderful. A special thanks to Paul who went above and beyond to give us recommendations and helped us with our transportation needs.
We stayed in a king room that included a small sofa for a sitting area. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything you'd expect.
If you are looking for a special place when in Montreal, you won't go wrong staying here.

The rooms are dirty and management makes no effort to clean them. On first day I found cobwebs and dust in room . I asked them to get it cleaned for next day. However rooms were still not cleaned. I think most reviews are fake here; the bar and breakfast room is just a lobby. They say breakfast included but u get one crossiants and coffee for breakfast . Didn’t even have toothpaste in housekeeping which is std for 4 star hotels

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the noise level in the area was a major downside. Doors were being slammed by other guests late into the night, and there was a lot of street noise—honking cars and frequent sirens. It made it really difficult to relax or sleep.

This hotel made our vacation. It's hard to travel as a large family (two adults, four children) but our rooms were perfect. The beds were amazing and the chocolate croissants for breakfast were worth the price of admission on their own! Perfectly located, the staff was so kind with our kids and helping with luggage and strollers. Look forward to staying again on our next visit.

Convenient for travel. The surrounding attractions are within walking distance. It is also convenient for eating. It is very close to Chinatown. It is just that parking is not very convenient. The hotel needs to park for you.

Nice artworks throughout. Very friendly / helpful staff day & night shifts. The lady serving breakfast remembered our order each morning and even set the main dining tv to our preference, NBA :)

We traveled from New York and wanted to be in Old Montreal. This hotel is perfectly located there. Each day, we walked everywhere and took in the varied architectural structures and holiday charm. Stores were open, people were friendly, and we were able to eat at a wide variety of ethnic restaurants. Our hotel rooms were substantial in size and very comfortable. The staff was personable, friendly, and exceeded helpful with our requests our needs. We even met other visitors who said they always stay at this hotel. What a substantial recommendation. Thank you again to the hard-working staff. You truly made our stay more enjoyable.
