Best Western Plus Sands

Worst hotel eperience we had Room was filthy and infested with mice. The staff lied multiple times about the pet fee being free and parking. I called several times to confirm before arriving and when we got to the hotel, the front desk told me I have to pay for parking. They only waived the parking fee because couldn't move us and we had to sleep in a room with mice climbing our bed.

We also advised them TWICE that duvet had to be cleaned for the next guest since we had an accident on our second night. We left it for the cleaners in the morning on the floor together with the dirty sheets, but their staff just kept it inside the closet where our we had our jackets hanged. They just told us they don't have extra even though we told them we don't need a replacement, we just told them that it had to be cleaned for the next guest. It seems that cleanliness is not thwir priority.

They also told us that they will refund $250 damage deposit fee in 5 busienss days which has not happened and it's more than a week now and they want us to wait for another week.

I thought I would be getting a standard hotel. The infrastructures are old. The elevators, the rugs. You could literally tell that this is a old and badly maintained hotel.
The staffs were great! I think that is the only sliver-lining in here.
Sands should spend money and upgrade their infrastructures. You could hear peoples conversations from outside of their rooms
