YWCA Hotel Vancouver

I really liked that this hotel is focused on giving back to the community, and even its key card was wooden to reduce the amount of plastic used. I had booked 2 nights but due to flight changes, I informed them I could only stay the second night. On arrival very early in the morning, reception kindly let me check in then as my room was ready - this was very much appreciated after my long 14hour flight! Room was clean, and had all the items I needed. Such an affordable stay, and while it's not a fancy 5 star hotel, and the bathrooms were shared, it was clean and I really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was very well located and provided affordable parking. We found that it was significantly cheaper than surrounding properties and offered good value. We enjoyed spending some time on the outside terrace on the 11th floor. On-site washing and drying machines were appreciated. It takes some time to get used to the concept of having a shared bathroom with the adjacent room.

This place was such a steal! You are right downtown (right across from BC Place).

The staff was so friendly and check in was smooth.

The hotel room we got was a single queen with a private bathroom and the room was beautiful! Freshly renovated, it had a ton of space for us, and the bed was so soft! (Felt like a cloud) We also had a fridge.

The shower and bathroom are great, the shower was walk in and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was provided. There was also a hair dryer.

I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to stay and will definitely return.

Nice clean bright room with a great view. Hotel prices in Vancouver are crazy high right now so this was pretty good value for a central location. We went for a Whitecaps game so very handy for BC place. Highly recommend they have a kitchen as well for prepping your own food. Highly recommend for short or longer stay. Will return for sure.

Best budget option in downtown Vancouver. If you don't mind using the toilet and shower down the hall, you can get a really cheap room here. Of course you can also get a room with facilities. Always clean, helpful staff and the great price are what keep me coming back.

I never stayed at this hotel so I am not sure about the rooms, but I went to many meeting in the conference room. This hotel is very cheap and a great deal very in amazing location in heat of downtown for this price. Two minutes walk to skitrain. Definitely a great deal with what you get.

Very clean. What I want in a hotel room is a clean and comfortable place to sleep.

Everything was awesome. The staff was very friendly while being fast and efficient. I had a few questions about the immediate area and they answered them happily. It felt to me that the staff had a good work environment because they seemed to enjoy their jobs.

There's many good restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

The hotel is also right across from the football/sports place.

Price was comparable.

We stayed in Vancouver for 2 nights and loved the YWCA! It's very conveniently located right in Downtown, the staff at the main desk was wonderful and our room was very clean. Their covered parking lot under the same building is not very big, but most travelers don't have cars, so go ahead and ask them if they have availability for your vehicle. We took advantage of it and the price wasn't high. We loved this hotel! We'll definitely stay here again!
