Kefalonitis Hotel Apartments

What an amazing place The Kefalonitis Hotel is. Amazing staff in the bar, keeps everybody happy and always ready to help. Nickos, the owner, will make sure you are looked after. The one bedroom apartment is big, bedding is changed every 3 to 4 days, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchenette has everything you need if you want to cook. The bathroom is large. We had a walk-in shower (room 712). The towels are changed every 3 days. Do not expect 5 Star, The Kefalonitis Hotel is homely

My husband & I have only recently returned from a week's stay at Kefalonitis hotel apartments. It's good value for a lovely clean 3 star run by friendly helpful staff. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very clean & spacious. The housekeeping changes your towels & bedding every 3 days. They empty the bins, tidy the beds & sweep through daily apart from Sundays or Wednesdays as they don't work on those days. In the bedroom, there was plenty of hanging space, drawers, a mirror above a dresing table, a stool & a small hairdryer on the wall. The bathroom was roomy with a walk-in shower, toilet, sink & mirror above. There's not much shelf space to put toiletries apart from toothbrushes & toothpaste, but there was a small table just outside the bathroom where you could leave some or on the dressing table in the bedroom. The lounge had 2 long sofas, a table & 4 chairs & the kitchen area was fully equipped with plenty of cupboards filled with everything you require for self catering, if you choose this option. We only booked bed & breakfast but used the kettle, toaster & fridge. There's also a supermarket just round the corner for any groceries, water etc We were on the top floor in a block towards the side of the hotel, up 2 flights of stairs as there aren't any lifts at this hotel. The balcony had the sun in the morning & overlooked the back of the hotel but had flowered gardens below. It also had a washing line to hang your towels & swimwear. The bedroom had a safe that you paid €10 for the week plus a €10 refunable deposit that was returned at the end of your stay. The WiFi and air con are free. The air con units are run by an electric tag inserted in the wall and only work in one room at a time if there's only 2 people staying in the apartment. You only get 2 tags if there's more people staying! Big shout out to the lady who tirelessly worked all day & night, serving breakfast & drinks in the bar (didn't get her name, unfortunately). Always so happy, chatty & always smiling. Breakfast is a choice of full English consisting of 2 fried eggs, a sausage, 2 sluces bacon, spoonful of beans & a grilled tomato or Continental breakfast consisting of slices of cheese, ham, olives & tomato. You only get one cup of coffee or tea or a glass of juice. You place your order with the lovely breakfast lady. No buffet, it's all cooked fresh to order & is served very quickly. The pool has plenty of sunbeds but not many umbrellas, and although it states not to reserve with your towels, people were putting them out before 8am and then not coming out until mid-morning or even midday! We did manage to get some on the 2 days we decided to stay around the pool, but that was because it was later in the day when people went out or returned to their rooms. Instead, we spent most of our time at the Lighthouse beach, which is about a 15-minute walk away. There are plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas there for €7.50 and they're not crowded. The staff here are excellent. The hotel is is only a 3 star but don't let that put you off . The rooms are very clean and huge .Great pool And food and drinks in the snack bar are fine and reasonably priced . We had a great time . Thanks to everyone we met . We will most certainly return .

arrived on the 21st june for 10 nights we stayed in a 1 bed apartment 201 .the apartment complex is very clean and tidy aswell as the rooms which are cleaned everyday a large pool and plenty of sunbeds .the staff were amazing always there to help and very friendly. The location is great for a 15 min walk into kato paphos and harbor .would we stay here again answer YES very welcoming from the start in my view 10 out of 10. kefalonitis staff thank you john and debbie room 201.

Everything about this place is functional, it just works. If your looking for somewhere not to expensive but close to all amenities then trust me this is the place. Great WiFi, free air conditioning, plenty of sunbeds and brilliant staff. Don't expect 5 star, expect homely.

We had the best time ever! Room was very clean. Our service lady was such a delight, nothing was too much trouble for her. There is a Lidl further up the road for all you'd need, but we ate out every day/night. We stayed on a B&B basis, and our breakfasts were very tasty. My hubby hired a moped from Polys over the road on the corner, so we zoomed off every day. Back to the bar, and Demetrius was the ideal bar tender. We've booked again for next year. We loved everything about it.

Stayed at the Kefalonitis in early June. It seems to be one of the lower priced Paphos hotels with Jet2, but don't let that put you off. It's a really nice self catering hotel. Located slightly off the tomb of the kings road, location is good with decent kiosks, bars and restaurants nearby. Busier harbour area about a 20/30 minute walk away. Room basic but had everything we needed. 2 small cooking rings and an integrated oven provided. Fridge with small ice box. Toaster and kettle. Hair dryer also provided, but didn't use this. Safe in the room. We had to pay €25 for the safe key, but €10 was a returnable deposit. Efficient air con in room free of charge. Staff all very friendly. Cleaner came round most days, towels changed every other day. Only notable issue for us was the bathroom door was slightly too big for the frame, meaning you couldn't close it properly. Made is slightly awkward for doing a poo! We stayed here back in 2016, happy with it then and happy with it again. Will very likely be back.

Just returned after 10 nights and we were very happy with our stay, no frills but clean and friendly. Excellent staff especially Ted & Demetris in the pool bar. Rooms very spacious and all the things you need for a self catering holiday. Had a couple of lunches in the snack bar and both were fine and reasonably priced. Location is ideal just off the main road great for the local restaurants and bars. Nice pool area with plenty of beds anytime of day although I would imagine it’s not so easy in the high season. All in all no complaints it’s not the Ritz but good value and more than adequate.
