Attentive, kind staff. Very clean, they are constantly wiping surfaces down. Small (efficient) rooms with a big bathroom. Newer or kept-up construction. 5-10 minute walk to all the city's sights.

Strange practices at this hotel:
My wife and I arrived and checked into the Regence together with a few colleagues, ahead of a delegation that we were looking after. Although my wife's details were not registered the staff were clearly aware that we were checking jointly into a double room.
The next morning I checked out and received my bill which listed the incidentals. I left the hotel with the delegation whereas my wife stayed someone longer and consumed the breakfast which was meant to be included in the rate (only 1 was consumed under my room number).
When she left the hotel later in the morning she was stopped and asked to pay 20 Euro for the double occupancy. Strangely enough this was not requested when I checked out and also not when I left the hotel.
Furthermore the difference between a single and double room is Euro 10. And best of all, the staff was not willing to issue any receipt whatsoever.
My wife was hugely embarrassed as she could only assume that this was some sort of "working girl" tax that the front office staff "levy" to bolster their coffee kitty.

We stayed there for a weekend and enjoyed a nice room, great breakfast and a trip to the sauna. The staff is very friendly.

Everyone was very friendly and the hotel is clean. Our room was very very small and even though we asked for quiet rooms and the windows are sound reduced, we could still hear the traffic and people on the street yelling all night. Breakfast in COVID times are different but very acceptable. If anything was missing you just had to ask and it was brought to you with a smile. Parking is confusing in the beginning but cool when you know where and how.

New hotel and facility was excellent except shampoo. You have to bring it, but other than that location wise, price wise, I was so happy with the room and services. They also have wonderful breakfast at 16.50 euro with ham, salmon, cheese, nice breads fruits yogurt etc.

Location is perfect, staff is kind and helpfull. Interior and furniture should be renovated.

Good hotel with big rooms. Close to bus station and old city. But there is no special service like SPA or swimming pool.
