Where to stay in Baden-Baden

Modern hotel and and old half blended together nicely. The rooms are modern and large. The big feature is the in hotel spa. There is a warm indoor lap pool and a hot pool that in both indoor and outdoor.there were plenty of loungers. Also a dry and wet sauna. The exercise room was under repair. Service in the restaurant and bar could have been better.

Nice building in a good location,close to the Action. In my opinion the value for money is not good. 150€ per night without breakfast(they charge 35!€ for breakfast with two people) and 19!!€ for parking the car in a very narrow garage is not worth it. They show beautiful pictures of their pool on the website.... but it's under construction and except for a small outside pool all was out of order...

Getting to the hotel is difficult and the staff had no idea about the public transportation system and we almost missed our train but for convenience to the Caracalla spa it was perfect and you’re able to go directly into the spa and even pay at the hotel.

Best place in Baden The best! I’m a frequent guest at Aqua Aurelia. Probably have stayed there 25 times and it is always consistent and good. Really good. I don’t have staff names correct, but two women and guys are always great - Gi, Kathy, Rene, and guy that works both desk and restaurant, as needed.

Breakfast is five-star and as satisfying as an average German family hotel👍 But if it's not the main building, you need to use a key. The doors to other auxiliary buildings also need to be opened with a key, which takes a while. And the basic room type may not have air conditioning but only a fan. As a child, we used to stop by here every summer on our way to Spain. This place is lovely on the outside (great views of a little church at the back, for example), there are lots of parking spaces, and it's also nice inside as well (a toy shop, a motel, a canteen with a variety of German food to choose and enjoy). I've stopped there for a night for the last two years during post Christmas season. I've always liked the room at this hotel, descent size and very quiet and clean. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. Would highly recommend it to travellers, and I'll personally definitely go back there when I'm in baden baden again.

We stopped for one night as we travelled through europe. The staff were friendly but quite slow in serving terms. The hotel ran out of beer on the first round and didn't offer dinner. Rooms clean and fresh.

The property was beautiful. We stayed in the back building. Unfortunately the heat did not work in one of the rooms we stayed in. The Hotel tried their best to get it working at night and when they couldn’t, they issued us a full refund in the morning. They were very helpful.

Hotel attached to a restaurant, about a 20 minute walk to centre or catch a bus (stap 50 meters from hotel). Hotel is very clean, older establishment. No airconditioning, a fan is provided. Bed & pillows good, bathroom with shower ok. Breakfast was good, had a reasonable selection. No 24 hour front desk, restaurant open till 11pm & they can arrange entry.

With a reservation for three people and 2 nights they set up room for 2. 2 towels, 2 coffee pods. You can buy more coffee pods for a cheap machine that didn’t work. I recently stayed in room 11 with my 2 teenagers: a queen bed, facing a small kitchenette with a bathroom beyond that and another bed in a loft accessible by a ladder. The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony. Great place to stay to explore Baden-Baden. The hotel is located on narrow streets up a steep hill overlooking the town. The town centre is approx 15 minutes away on foot but we highly recommend getting a taxi back. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed.

As per the concept, the Little Prince is in every room and there are many skylights! If you are a fan of The Little Prince, this is a must-see. However, the building itself is an old European house.

The hotel is pretty dated. As a matter of fact, there was an ongoing major renovation project which generated a lot of noise. On the other hand, the location is perfect for those wanting to go to the two major baths in Baden Baden which are located about a block from the hotel.
