Great food, clean bathrooms (free for customers), interesting history of the mill and restaurant. Bring your patience, the staff has a lot of tables to cover so it can take some time to get served but it's worth the wait. Great hiking trails right behind the restaurant too!

The restaurant is good, you will find typical food from the region. The taste and quality of the food is very good. Staff is friendly and for sure some of them speak English or French. The location is very nice and they have a big outdoor area for food, finger food or beers.

Geroldsauer Muhle is just outside Baden Baden. It is a perfect place to stop for a proper German lunch. The building also has a mini shop and a high end supermarket with a bakery, cake section and meats. The restaurant food was large and delicious. We had the curry wurst and pork which were both great. Typical local food and lively atmosphere on weekends. The dishes are quite straightforward and the service is average. There is a somewhat commercial feel to the restaurant, which is typical for this type of food. Decent place for German food in Baden-Baden, in particular on sunny days. My rating: 3.3.

We went there for diner, with no particular plans. But after diner we directly booked a table for the day after! This place is warm, the staff is available and welcoming, the food is great, good quality and affordable. And the beers!Nothing to add! Thank you Daniela!! We will be back!

Nice place to eat and buy local products

I've stopped there for a night for the last two years during post Christmas season. I've always liked the room at this hotel, descent size and very quiet and clean. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. Would highly recommend it to travellers, and I'll personally definitely go back there when I'm in baden baden again.

Great Hotel for Baden-Baden, however the walk back from the town centre may be a little too steep for some.

We stopped for one night as we travelled through europe. The staff were friendly but quite slow in serving terms. The hotel ran out of beer on the first round and didn't offer dinner. Rooms clean and fresh.

Very cosy and quiet place to spend romantic vacation or businesstrip. Not far from the main attractions. We spent fantastic fortnight on this, 2015 new year. Thanks a lot to all the staff for care and the hotel owner for quality management!

What an absolute gem of a hotel! We had a lovely room with a balcony. Don’t get me wrong this hotel is not posh, but neither is the price tag. It’s a charming little boutique hotel in a fabulous location that offers an excellent breakfast.

Pleasant means it was nice but not outstanding. As other reviews have said the breakfast really was very good. The bathroom was very good quality and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but décor was a little underwhelming. It is very close to a lovely park.

A fabulous, family-run boutique hotel in an amazing location in the centre of old town Baden-Baden. The rooms are nice and the breakfast room is stellar with lovely decor and an excellent breakfast including homemade pots of chia with almond milk and platters of tropical fruit. Wished we could have stayed longer We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Humber’s Hotel. Our room was very clean with a good sized wardrobe/storage space. The bed was extremely comfortable, the most comfortable of our 2 week trip. Breakfast was superb, an excellent selection of good quality products. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The attached cafe/bar was also excellent.

I had a perfect stay here. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. Parking is free. The breakfast is better than most 5* hotels I’ve stayed in, it must take them hours of prep and yet they’re still happy and smiley with every guest at 7am. There is no restaurant onsite so I ate at the restaurant opposite, there is however an honesty bar. I can’t wait...

Thank you !! Arrived late on a Sunday when we couldn’t get a thing in Baden Baden. Booked online 30 mins before arrival. On arrival, phoned as directed and helped ourselves to a key from a basket outside!!! A nice typical German spa town cafe. I needed espresso, eggs, bread, cheese and cured meat for breakfast and found it all here! Next time I would stay here.

We stopped in this place for lunch on way to Switzerland from Amsterdam. A big space with all basic amenities and a food court. Good choices of foods including for those who look for vegetarian food. Clean place and good coffee.

Plenty of well organised parking and services for the driver and family the toilets were clean and the restaurant had a great choice of fresh cooked food and salads for a reasonable price,one feels refreshed and satisfied to be able to continue on ones journey.

The Hotel Bischoff is located in the beautiful center of Baden-Baden and yet quietly located opposite the Friedrichsbad. You have to pick up the key at the Hotel Laterne and breakfast was also served in the beautifully Christmas-decorated Café Laterne. The room and bathroom are functional with everything you need. The WiFi still has a multi-digit code and is very weak.

Fantastic location opposite the spa complex. Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast fine, but one day it was served at a sister hotel down the road . Building a little noisy from other guests - wooden stairs, echoey hallway, but it wouldn’t stop me staying here again.

They mixed up my booking so I didn’t have the bath or balcony I ordered. After one night with a side building view I was swapped up to the attic with a better view and more space.

Very nice, beautiful and clean room. But for hotel of 3 stars there was no place to- for example- refill water or just enjoy coffee out of breakfast hours. Internet doesnt work on phones. No hair dryer. We just came from 2 stars hotel and they had all this.

Very quaint boutique hotel in the heart of the old town... Beautiful shopping district with lots of restaurantsnand a beautiful park with river to walk through (nearby). Walking distance to 2 thermal pool spas. If self driving there is no parking at the hotel, but there are a couple of parking garages nearby (4 blocks). Its very charming.

Clients for 20 years We have stayed here many times & it has always been the most welcoming hotel with the most beautiful restaurant...we would never stay anywhere else. Clean, quiet, perfect.

We stayed for three nights. We took the train in then hopped on bus 201. Frau Peter's told us via email where to get off. Our room was spotless and modern. Breakfat was a typical German breakfast and delicious. Both Herr and Frau were a wealth of information and so friendly. We either walked to town center via a lovely parkway or took the bus. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Service, service, service! Welcomed with very friendly, English speaking, host. Parking was easy. Building is older but in great shape. Room was good size, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom was good. Breakfast was great. Bus stop very close and easily found.

The owners were supremely hospitable and helpful. Intact they even helped a girl who had locked her keys in her car even though agree wasn't a guest on the hotel. I would certainly come again!

It’s an average two star hotel ! Nice breakfast and bed ! No kettle or fridge in room ! It’s noisy at daytime but quiet at night ! It’s near the terme so it’s convenient for bus access and old town ! Location is its best bet anc it has a lift too ‘ reception shuts at 2100 ! I didn’t know as my train from tried was late as all trains in Germany but I got in luckily at 2000 somehow

The tables in the room was not tall enough to be used for working and a part of the shower didnt work properly. Apart of that, the location is perfect and is a good price/benefit ratio.

BADEN BADEN Breakfast was wonderful with very efficeint staff. Room had a great balcony overlooking spas. Short walk to spas. Found M10 around the corner great food. Also found Griffins Irish Pub and had too much fun.

The location was perfect. We loved being in the center of things. Breakfast was wonderful. The gentleman who checked us in was very abrupt and grumpy. He acted as if we were inconveniencing him to be there. Each question was given a vague, unhelpful reply. Perhaps it is time to retire, since he doesn’t appear to be enjoying his job anymore. Otherwise, lovely stay in an old world hotel.

The hotel is pretty dated. As a matter of fact, there was an ongoing major renovation project which generated a lot of noise. On the other hand, the location is perfect for those wanting to go to the two major baths in Baden Baden which are located about a block from the hotel. The same is true for the pleasant pedestrian area/district also located a block from the hotel.

I stayed on this hotel with my wife for five nights and we absolutely loved it! The location is amazing, in the middle of the black forest the room was comfortable and spacious. The included breakfast it was so so good that it would deserve a review on itself. If you're looking for a relaxing place in touch with nature, this is the place. I definitely recommend it.
