The entire experience at Hotel Krone was awesome! We were greeted by a friendly face and very warmly. The hotel is situated above the historic town and the views from our balcony were absolutely incredible. Definitely make it a point to enjoy breakfast on their terrace because the gardens in the foreground of massive mountains are breathtaking. We found Hotel Krone to be a great choice for our stay in Berchtesgaden and would absolutely stay here again. Rooms were spacious with plenty of room for two of us with several suitcases. Throughout our travels in the Alps, this place felt most spacious!

Very nice hotel overlooking the city, complete with sauna, bicycle storage room, spacious rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful, so don't hesitate to ask for recommendations.

Astonishing views to the highest peak of the valley. When booking a room I can definitely recommend taking the one with a balcony and view to the mountains, what a unique way to wake up and to look at the starts in the evening. The rooms are recently renovated and offer extra comfort and the equipment in the room is 5/5. The breakfast is rather simple compared to other accommodations close by but you can request specials coffees and egg options separately. For the room, the view and proximity to the village, I would stay here again!

The rooms are small , but quaint, with beautiful woodwork in the traditional Bavarian style. The bathroom very modern and clean.
The Breakfast buffet has a nice selection of everything one could desire, even a few vegetarian spreads.
But above all, ask for a room with a view, as the surrounding mountains offer an unrivaled panorama, which you can also enjoy from the terrace.

Pillow were not that good, bed was uncomfortable. Overall, about the same as most European hotels but I would go back. Breakfast was included.

Great view from our balcony and the restaurant, clean and comfy room, nice staffs. The hotel is a bit difficult to reach via public transport though
