Well, this highly rated hotel didn't really exactly meet our expectations to be fair. And it may be bad luck (for them), but doesn't change what happened. Great location, excellent food, very good service. Our room faced the parking lot & we were flooded by light most of the night. We tried to cool down the room by opening the windows, but had a lot of noise & not enough air.

There is quite a trek uphill to the hotel. The hotel is quiet and has beautiful views. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant, bar has good food and drinks.There is a sauna but not much else, but don't worry, the uphill trek will be enough exercise.

I found the inflexible table seating policy disappointing. It felt like being treated as if in a prison or school, where guests staying in more expensive rooms were given priority and I was asked to only sit at the assigned table. The hotel was absolutely spotless. It's mind bogglingly beautiful in an idyllic location. It's a family run hotel, and they made us feel exceptionally welcome. Highly recommended.

Nice accommodation. Everything was fine. The family lives in the same house, which is of course not a bad thing, but it is sometimes louder. I found it a bit annoying in the morning. When showering there are only small towels to dry off with.

This place is amazing, near the mountains and close to the town. The house has been renovated and is very comfortable and cozy! Irmi is the best! She takes care of everything to make you feel at home. Breakfasts are delicious and on Sunday we got a picnic basket :) We totally recommend this place

Very cozy place! Location is perfect, it takes 20-25 min on foot to get to the main attractions ( Lake Königssee, Jennerbahn am Königssee). Breakfast was super delicious. The staff were very kind and hospitable! Thanks a lot! I highly recommend!

Wow I visited already 13 Times and next year I am gonna visit it for the 14 Time to go skiing it's always great and the people are really nice. I like the Food but it got a bit of a downgrade because they had to remove the Jacuzzi from the Balcony to get the Titel of an "Eco friendly Hotel". But the Pool and the Saunas are amazing definitely not gonna be my last time visiting. :)

We had such an amazing time here. Berchtesgaden is beautiful, this hotel really enhances the experience. The facilities are well kept, and the staff really do their best to impress. We had some slight language barriers but nothing too bad. We're already dreaming of coming back!

Street in front of the hotel is sometimes a bit noisy (had a room facing the street), but with the windows closed you can't hear anything. Hardly any traffic at night, so you can sleep with the window open.
