Nice hostel. Almost hotel like facilities. In fact better than some hotels. Food and alcohol not allowed inside but there is bar and breakfast facility which is very good and cost effective.

Very nice hostel. One of the best you could find. Comparable to hotels in facility. In fact, better in some cases. 24 hours reception facility. Bar is open around the clock and is inexpensive.

Great hostel with perfect location and great staff

A simple Hostel, but with a nice bar, nice breakfast, the room/bathroom we got was wheelchair accessible too so we had no problem with our disabled friend during our stay. The stuff was really friendly too.

Great place. Near the metro. My room was right next the Sban. I slept well no problem. The amenities are great. They have parking, free but they might charge.

A cosy time capsule on the East side. Walking distance to the train station ( Ostbahnhof ). the rooms are clean and comfortable but beware of rooms on higher floors, there is no elevator! there are supermarkets and bakeries close by. As a bonus, there is a DDR themed restaurant right around the corner!

a decent budget hostel, though the wall is thin and not ideal noise cancellation, but the receptionist was super nice to her guests and also native in english too! definitely worth a stay.

I would recommend this stay to people who are nostalgic about communism or who want to experiment that, for whatever reason. Or if the price is their main argument. If you want to roleplay a DDR citizen and want the full communist experience of your stay in east-Berlin, then this is the place to be. Don't be suprised however, when you find out the hostel includes an actual Stasi. Everyone here was wonderful. The place is sparkling clean, entryways are secure and easy to access at any time. I hope to make it back here again someday soon!

Rooms are really cool and clean! They provide great services such as kitchen, laundry, hair dryers in the bathrooms, etc. Super nice staff as well!!! Would definitely recommend this place and come back!

Don't let the few bad opinions influence you. I had a wonderful time. The place feels like home. Facilities are renewed, every day staff cleans and the people also staying in creates a great atmosphere. ?

Great hostel is the heart of the gay area...newly renovated and better that the website suggests. Spent 4 nights here and meet a great bunch of good looking guys from all over the world, will definitely be back!!

Awesome place. I stayed for 3 of the 6 days I was in Berlin and it was surprisingly down to earth, centrally located, clean and affordable! Highly recommended!
