Estrel Berlin, Berlin1 / 50
8.6
Berlin, Sonnenallee 225 🧭 Map
Stayed for one night. The room was really nice and clean. The location is good, a walking distance to public transport. We asked for slippers and they provided us with it which was great. We had complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. The only negative thing is that there was no kettle or any complimentary tea/coffee set in the room.
I can’t say much about the interior design or whether Estrel lives up to its 4-star standard. But the entrance hall is massive, there are many small restaurants and cafés, and it’s a great place for trade fairs, congresses, and training sessions. It’s spacious, well-lit, and overall, I’d say I can recommend it.
What an lovely place to be. It’s so huge and well maintained. Modern cutlery with premium services is what Everyone likes. When I 1st time came to Berlin, I had a place nearby and used to visit this place for a relaxing time
A very good experience overall. The Portofina Restaurant was very good with a small menu. The Grill—not so much. Staff was less than friendly and the rump steak was very tough. Service was not good. Front desk and Concierge Services were very good. We were on 3rd floor and our mattress was like sleeping on the floor. The floor might have been better. Pillow top on top of mattress was worn completely...
We stayed here over Christmas while visiting our son. Beautiful place with interesting art. Food in Italian restaurant was amazing. Breakfast choice was excellent. Only one member of staff was miserable at the bar area. She was a young bartender who needs to smile a bit more. Otherwise our stay was amazing. We will be back again as our son lives close by. Well done and thank you.🇮🇪
Good money for value. Common places are nicer than rooms, I’d take away carpeting for hygiene reasons. Staff were super nice.

Berlin, Alexanderplatz 7 🧭 Map
The hotel was good and in a good location there was a couple of things kind of put me off .... First of all I don't appreciate being woken up at 7.45am / 8am in the morning by house keeping to see if I want my bed made and then again at 9am / 9.30am I understand its a big hotel with lots of rooms but 8am , that is to early, the next thing is I asked for a double bed and I got 2 single beds pushed...
Advantages: location and good breakfast. Disadvantages: very small toilet and bathroom. The bathroom is transparent so you don't have any privacy at all. Also there is no refrigerator at the room. If you have to store your luggage you have to pay 2 euro for each peace.
I am so grateful for the staff of this wonderful hotel. It’s in a great location and I highly recommend staying here. My girlfriend and I forgot $$$ in the room safe but we opened it to remove our passports. I called 5hrs later after we realized we forgot the money and it was still there. The staff kept the money safe for 2 weeks until I couldn’t make it back to Berlin to pick it up. I am so grateful...
Park Inn was a convocation right next to the train. The breakfast offered for the marathon stay was incredible. Hot and cold buffet and so much more! Staff was friendly, beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean!
Lovely Hotel, very close to the station and very convenient for all the tours shops and the amenities. We had a lovey stay here. staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good and plenty of it. the bar is lively and well decorated and there is plenty of drinks to choose from. The Christmas market at the back is nice and quaint and easily accessible from the hotel.
Excellent experience staying here with my kids for a week. The room was very clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast options were extensive. There isn’t anything interesting to do or see right around the hotel, but it is located centrally making connection to other parts of the city really seamless. I will definitely stay here again.
Close to all must see thing in Berlin Breakfast buffet was SO good Small room but wery nice Excellent cleaning Check in took a Long time - but wery helpful people

It was a nice hotel, nice rooms, the location was a bit annoying to get to. The breakfast was amazing however their 24/7 snacks were kinda lazy for example the nachos are just corn chips microwaved with cheese slices on top. Over good hotel though and would stay there again.
During my recent stay at Hilton Berlin, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, making me feel valued as a guest. The accommodations were modern and well-maintained, and the central location allowed easy access to attractions. Overall, it was a delightful experience that truly reflects their commitment to customer...
Hotel itself spectacular beautiful, looks luxury with bar in the lobby and restaurant for breakfast with amazing view. Rooms looks beautiful and spaced enough with nice furniture, but room was not vacuumed properly so nails from previous customer was everywhere on the floor. Hotel provides slippers and bathrobe that very comfy. Location is heart of the city, nothing can be better. Beautiful city and...
I recently stayed at the Hilton in Berlin, and it was fantastic! The location is perfect—just a short walk from attractions like Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. The rooms are modern and spacious, with great city views. I loved the breakfast buffet and appreciated the friendly, helpful staff. The interior design of the lobby was also great. It was clean and the staff was very welcoming. The bar...
My stay at Hilton Berlin was amazing. It’s my first stay with Hilton and my expectations were high, and rightfully so. All the expectations I had were exceeded tenfold. I would like to point out some people that were especially memorable to me. From the Front Desk it was Monica, Michaela, Luca and Konstantin. They gave me the best first and last impression of the hotel and the amazing service. Always...
I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Berlin, located in one of the most charming areas of the city. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped, providing a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. My experience was flawless, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking exceptional hospitality in Berlin.

Great location if you know your way around Berlin. Very comfy rooms, clean and with cool lighting options. Stuff is friendly and always available. I took away one star from room rating because I could not turn off the light above TV so I had to unplug it manually.
A very high standard of Hotel with beauty kept and spacious rooms. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The lobby restaurant/Bar is a very friendly place, again with brilliant, helpful and friendly staff. The food I had was very well priced and very delicious too. All in all I highly recommend this hotel.
The rooms are a really great size and the bathrooms are lovely. Cleaning is thorough. Breakfast had plenty of vegetarian options. Ideally suited for business travellers with the facilities on site. However, if you’re looking to explore Berlin as a tourist it is a little out of the way, even accounting for its proximity to a subway station.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bed could benefit from additional, more supportive, pillows. The breakfast offering is fairly broad and of good quality. It is easy to get into the city centre by tram (M5 or M6 services) or take an S train (ring bahn) and then Underground, as the stops are just outside the hotel. Lengthy queue at check-in.
What a lovely hotel! For a reasonable price, it is located fairly centrally, has beautiful decor and received superb service from staff! If you get a room at the upper levels you may also get a nice view out to the city. I will definitely be staying here again when I come to visit the city.
This is a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. Located close to the S-Bahn, so one can easily access the busy touristy areas of Berlin, and then go 'home' for an evening of quiet and peaceful enjoyment of the space. We loved receiving a little surprise whenever we opted to reuse our towels. The reception staff are helpful and polite. The bathroom, minibar and closet were so clean that...

This hotel is located near the station. Breakfast served here was awesome. One can take the Berlin city tour from just a walkable distance.
For a two night stay on a free weekend, this was exactly as expected. It is a moderate cost hotel with all things presented functional and clean. The location is within walking distance of the major sites in Berlin. Ratings are always difficult ... do we rate in comparison of what was expected or in comparison of the best hotels? I have chosen the latter. The rooms intentionally lacked may simple...
Great location - close to the main station. Staff helpfull and friendly. Room a decent size. Good breakfast - help yourself. Negatives: no kettle, had to ask for more pillows. No USB charge points for phone, had to use charger and adapter. Beds a bit low.
Great location. Close to all public transport (train, bus and tram) as well as Taxi's. The Cube building is close by as well with really good food. Staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. If you sign up for their rewards program then reception will give you a free travel pass for all public transport during your stay.
10/10 for me. The service was kind and fast, the room was spacious, very clean, you hear no noise from the inside. Slept like a baby as well. I'd recommend it for business and leisure, as it's very close to the main station and at a walkable distance from Reichstag.
Modern hotel in a great location, right next to the central station. Friendly 24hr service at reception. Rooms are fairly minimal but bed was comfy and bathroom was clean and modern. Saw a little earwig-type bug 🪲 at one point but it wasn't really an issue. Decent breakfast but wish the cooked options would vary a bit, rather than only having the choice of eggs/bacon/mushroom/hash browns the entire...

Our family stayed here for a short city break. Nice hotel, clean, presentable and we had a lovely family room. The restaurant menu for lunch and dinner is very limited, we didnt eat at the hotel but would have done if the lunch and dinner menu was better. Lots of other guests did the same. Hotel Berlin you are missing out!! Would recommend hotel to other guests, close to metro and all the sites.
Hotel Berlin, Berlin is a great Hotel with Art details. You can see many different art installations in every corner and corridor. Every room is diff so you can come back and find you in a different, beautiful room every time. Although some furniture and the hair dryer was a little bit old, everything was working fine. And I can’t say anything about location. It’s great. Running at one of the biggest...
The service will have to be improved. The staff do not put a smile in all the situations possible. From the waiter, to the customer service employee. When we told them that the room to keep the suitcases was closed. He insisted that was wrong without leaving his seat at his office
Lively and modern hotel with s really good vibe. The self check in was the only bit that was slightly fiddly but got there with a bit of help! Room was generous and bed comfortable with air con and a window that opened. Fairly busy road outside but noise insulation was good. Nice attention to detail and a great bathroom. Loved the bar downstairs and breakfast had huge choice.
We stayed a week at Hotel Berlin, Berlin in September. We found the staff to be really friendly and helpful and the lobby area is bright and welcoming. Following other reviews I specifically requested we get a quiet room not overlooking the square to avoid any road noise. The room itself was quiet, well appointed and perfect for our stay where we were out and about mostly. I've only scored 4 stars...

We were here at the hotel for a long weekend and it was in a great location to see the sights of Berlin. We booked a premium room with a sofa bed which was great for a family of 4. Breakfast was great with...
We stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental Berlin for three nights, and overall, the stay was good, and the room itself was very comfortable. However, there were a few things that disappointed us. First, the room had a double bed, which is meant for a couple, but we were provided with two tiny individual blankets. This didn’t make sense, and we had to request a larger blanket, which they referred to...
While the overall service at the Intercontinental Berlin met expectations, my stay was marred by a significant cleanliness issue in the rooms. The design and appearance of the rooms are pleasant, but unfortunately, both of the rooms I booked were not adequately cleaned. In my first room, I was shocked to discover hair scattered throughout, even on the bedside table. After requesting a room change,...
I recently stayed at this hotel, and while it was a good experience overall, I wouldn’t consider it a true five-star property. The positives: the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options that were both fresh and delicious. It’s a great hotel, well connected with train and bus and it’s not so far from cool places to eat and visits some stores. Of course it’s not in the city center but it’s a good option because it’s not too far away using public transportation. The hotel has a plenty options to eat near by, and the hotel staff are amazing, they are always welling to guide and helping you.
Excellent hotel! Located 100 meters from Kodam Street. The room is clean and everything is new, there is air conditioning and a coffee machine. The staff is pleasant and always happy to help. We were allowed to check out late. Thank you very much, it was great.
Good: - Clean and modern room with coffee machine and complimentary coffee as well as tea. - Prime location near Kurfürstendamm and Savignyplatz. Hotel was good and not so good. Decent location, close to Potsdamer Platz (for transportation to airport not too bad, not too good), walking distance to most sights. Room bare minimum. Ok mid level hotel. Two gripes: our rooms were cleaned without us asking (stayed only two nights and didn't require or ask cleaning. Everything was perfect! The hotel is modern and has a beautiful interior design. It is also very clean everywhere you look. The breakfast was very varied and tasty.
Great hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast offers a wide variety, and it’s conveniently located near public transport. The carpet, however, might be an issue for those with allergies.
Beautiful hotel in a slightly quieter part of the city. Excellent rooms, with splendid service. 24 hour reception. Very close proximity to underground station which is a huge benefit. Would certainly book to come here again when visiting the city.
The rooms are spacious, bedding are clean. I would say this is a 4 star hotel. The breakfast is Amazing!!! It has so much food to choose from. I had 2 breakfast (stayed 2 days) and I cannot even try everything I want to try! It is one of the best breakfast I had… world wide for comparable hotel in this price range. For 25€ it’s not cheap but you get what you paid for. Service was wonderful!
I like the room with a big window that you could actually open and enjoy the view. Spa is €20 for one person, it is not cheap considering two people is €40. The pool temperature is not really warm. The steaming room is nice. Breakfast is ok not really impressive. Downstairs have a lot of restaurants options.

Overall welcoming at reception and room available early and 12pm checkout with facility to leave bags if leaving later. Found concierge a little rude. The location is great, conveniently close to several tram stops. The hotel is massive, so be prepared for a bit of a walk from the entrance to your room. That said, the room itself was very spacious, with good furniture, a nice bathroom, and a comfortable bed—we really enjoyed our stay. I visited this stunning hotel right in the center at Potsdamer Platz for a wedding mass, and it truly left an impression. The entrance hall is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and a wonderful pianist added to the elegant atmosphere. The bar is also worth a visit, offering a great space to relax. Overall, it seems like an ideal venue for hosting events.
The hotel could be top notch, if the communication between the team members wasn’t so poor. Different messages by different people, passive aggressive treatment by front desk when we expressed a problem with that. Most of the staff is really nice and extremely welcoming. Just get your messages straight. Oh, fitness is pretty basic for the price.
Very comfortable room and very nice Service they walk with you help you with your luggage and ask you always if you need any assistance. The only problem is the location but not that big issue because there are always taxis outside near the door. I also enjoyed every minute of the stunning music at the bar.
Absolutely recommend for every Berlin stay. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely. We were greeted with a personal note from the staff. As you'd expect from the brand, excellent personal touches. Courtesy umbrellas for the rain were provided. Taxis always waiting. Walking distance to major sites. Had a soccer watching area which we did not get to use.

Although it is not centrally located, it was okish for those who move with own vehicle. Executive lounge was also average level (F&B) but good that children could entered. Breakfast was a bit simpler than others.
This hotel really punches above its weight. The rooms were great, spacious and beautifully furnished. The service was as good as any 5 star hotel I've stayed in, such as the Ritz or the W. Solid gym with dumbells up to 20kg and a pool that was being renovated during my stay. Really great value, slightly off the beaten path so it's not in the heart of things, but it's also quiet.
The location of this hotel is perfect for someone who wants to explore Berlin. The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast on some days is great with fancy pancakes and meat balls. There is no swimming pool in this grand hotel, which was disappointing. The internet in the rooms is slow. However, I enjoyed my stay and would book again.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Berlin Grand Hotel Esplanade during a recent business trip, and it exceeded all expectations. Situated in the heart of Berlin, near the iconic Tiergarten park and within walking distance of attractions like Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate, this luxury hotel offers the perfect blend of convenience and elegance. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed...

Berlin, Friedrichstr. 158-164 🧭 Map
Impressive foyer, good food, clean and tidy rooms. I found the corridors to be bare and somewhat clinical. The chairs in the bar area are very low (couches and arm chairs). All I in all a good hotel and I would go back again.
I recently stayed at the Westin Berlin, and while the hotel offers a great location and comfortable rooms, there were a few issues that affected my stay. First, the check-in process needs improvement. The queue was unclear, leading to confusion and discussions among guests about who should be helped first. A better-organized system would easily fix this. Additionally, the friendliness of the check...
After a cold 15-minute walk from the Holocaust Memorial to the U-bahn, my young son and I stopped in for hot chocolate and an *ahem* adult beverage at the bar. It was quiet and had a very welcoming atmosphere. He felt important being able to sit at the bar, and the hot chocolate was outstanding. The little cookie in the whipped cream was a nice touch!
Great hotel, the location is amazing at 1km from Brandenburg Gate, 1km from the Museum Island and 1km from Check-point Charlie. It has a subway outside the building which connects to the main tourist spots. We stayed there for the Berlin Marathon and the choice could not have been better! The support we received from all the staff was unbeatable, we just felt so welcome and the vibe was just amazing...
Thoroughly impressed with our stay here. The room was very spacious and clean, the reception and concierge were helpful with everything. The location was central so it was easy to get around. Would stay again if I ever went back to Berlin.
Very good hotel. Quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. Breakfast is good, room was clean and stylish. Interior was luxury and beautiful. The one unexpected thing was quite high deposit amount (3000€ for 5 nights) - pay with a credit card only or it will be returned within a month. Such things must be spoken in advance or stated before the booking.

Staying at the Berlin Marriott Hotel is all about comfort and convenience! The rooms are spacious, modern, and designed to make you feel right at home. What really stands out is the location—just a stone’s throw away from the train station, making it super easy to explore the city. Plus, foodies are in for a treat with a fantastic Indian restaurant just around the corner. And if you’re up for some...
This hotel was perfect for my trip to run the Berlin marathon. It was very close to the start/finish of the marathon as well as the start of the 5k. There are a number of good food options right next to the hotel. The staff were friendly and any requests were promptly attended to. I enjoyed having access to the executive lounge. The daily breakfast was excellent as well. They have a small “treat/present...
* The Berlin Marriott Hotel offers a refined experience with comfortable rooms and attentive service. * Its central location makes it convenient for exploring the city's attractions and vibrant nightlife. * Guests appreciate the modern amenities, including a pool and sauna, and the stylish atmosphere. * While the breakfast is considered good, some find it slightly pricey for the offering. * The on...
Since we went in August, staying at a hotel with AC was a must. Happy to report that the AC here worked well compared to our experience elsewhere and that the rooms were large and spacious, including the bathroom. We left very early in the morning and staff reacted quickly to us approaching the desk which was appreciated. Pool isn't that large but perfect just to mix things up, and the fitness center...
…and clean as hell! Loved this hotel. Despite my passion for non chain hotels in foreign countries, this was a wonderful, even perfect hotel. Good service and immediate amenities are all within a short walk. Train stations are nearby and Brandenburg Gate is an easy 10 minutes on my skinny pins. E Scooters are parked 100 m away, making it easy to break away from four wheels and a seat.
Perfect experience. Great location, next to many restaurants etc as well as Brandenburg Gate / Reichstag Building. The spa is amazing…there is a very hot sauna, a pool, and infrared seats. The gym is good. Front desk was very nice & helpful. Highly recommend

Berlin, Unter den Linden 77 🧭 Map
Our recent stay at the Adlon Kempinski Berlin was easily among the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The hotel itself is traditional, yet nothing is out of date, old or distressed as is common in “traditional” hotels. The entirety of the hotel is clean, spacious and airy, with great natural light in common spaces. We were completely relaxed, regardless of where we were in the hotel. Our room was incredibly...
From the moment you walk in the stately entrance, about 150 yards from the actual Brandenberg gate, and right next to the American Embassy, you’re surrounded by old world, luxury and elegance. I appreciate that the gentleman at the front door were always attentive to our luggage and our transportation. The front desk staff was super kind and accommodating! Also one morning when I showed up to breakfast...
I had great expectations of staying in Adlon. The location is indeed great, service was good. The room was good, but air-conditioning was out of order. However after checked out and settled the bill, I left hotel and next day I received second charge of the same amount, so I complained that they overcharged me double of price of my stay. Still my complaint was not answered by the manager.
Very centrally location - with views of the Brandenburg gate which is incredible Hotel is of a high standard and has a classic old school feel throughout. The rooms are a good size and the beds comfortable Breakfast is a standout - outstanding selection of fruit cereal meat and a la carte options. They even offer caviar and champagne as part of it! They house a 2 star restaurant which was excellent...
Here are my candid thoughts about staying at the Adlon Kempinski Berlin. First the positive: we had a very warm/enthusiastic welcome at the front desk. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. As many have noted, there is a sumptuous buffet breakfast offered (which was great on our first day but overwhelmed with guests and somewhat chaotic the next morning). We met some very nice employees of the...
Nestled near the Brandenburg Gate, this hotel blends historic charm with modern luxury. The rooms offer stunning views, the service is impeccable, and dining options, including Michelin-starred cuisine, are outstanding. With top-notch spa and business facilities, it's perfect for anyone seeking luxury in Berlin.

Location is very convenient as it’s within 10 mins of station. The reception staff need some work on their customer service / attitude as when they checked me in, they weren’t very friendly at all. However, you would rarely interact with the reception thankfully. The room was satisfactory and was good for a 4 day stay!
I loved this hotel on my first stay. Excellent service and amazing location. My second booking was somewhat different. I booked two nights directly through the website. A few days later I had to add an extra night but couldn't do this through the website so had to use booking.com instead. A few days before my stay (and well within the cancellation period) my plans changed and I could not fulfil...
Such a great hotel in a great location. The room that i had , it was amazing. The breakfast was nice but had a lack of pluralism. The reception desk team was the highlight cause everyone were so helpful any time. The restaurant staff was quite unhappy and not so smiley.
This is a centrally located hotel in Berlin. Friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast buffet. Everything was well maintained, comfortably airconditioned (important in July) and clean and the room was nice and quite. If you get a room with 2 beds note that the beds are not that large. Also, be careful about advanced payments. I paid in advance via a booking site but had to pay again at...
The location of this hotel is very good: subway is just a 5 min walk. The room was clean and the breakfast was amazing! You have to try the pancakes they make. The staff was very nice, especially Alejandro who always solved all the doubts we had. The gym is also nice.
My recent stay at the Riu Plaza Berlin was nothing short of exceptional. This 5-star hotel, located in the vibrant heart of Berlin, perfectly combines modern comfort with sophisticated style. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the sleek, contemporary design of the lobby and the warm welcome from the staff. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor set the tone for a delightful stay. The...
