Berlin, Alexanderplatz 7 🧭 Map
The hotel was good and in a good location there was a couple of things kind of put me off .... First of all I don't appreciate being woken up at 7.45am / 8am in the morning by house keeping to see if I want my bed made and then again at 9am / 9.30am I understand its a big hotel with lots of rooms but 8am , that is to early, the next thing is I asked for a double bed and I got 2 single beds pushed...
Advantages: location and good breakfast.
Disadvantages: very small toilet and bathroom.
The bathroom is transparent so you don't have any privacy at all. Also there is no refrigerator at the room.
If you have to store your luggage you have to pay 2 euro for each peace.
I am so grateful for the staff of this wonderful hotel. It’s in a great location and I highly recommend staying here. My girlfriend and I forgot $$$ in the room safe but we opened it to remove our passports.
I called 5hrs later after we realized we forgot the money and it was still there. The staff kept the money safe for 2 weeks until I couldn’t make it back to Berlin to pick it up.
I am so grateful...
Park Inn was a convocation right next to the train. The breakfast offered for the marathon stay was incredible. Hot and cold buffet and so much more!
Staff was friendly, beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean!
Lovely Hotel, very close to the station and very convenient for all the tours shops and the amenities.
We had a lovey stay here. staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good and plenty of it. the bar is lively and well decorated and there is plenty of drinks to choose from.
The Christmas market at the back is nice and quaint and easily accessible from the hotel.
Excellent experience staying here with my kids for a week. The room was very clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast options were extensive. There isn’t anything interesting to do or see right around the hotel, but it is located centrally making connection to other parts of the city really seamless. I will definitely stay here again.
Close to all must see thing in Berlin Breakfast buffet was SO good Small room but wery nice Excellent cleaning Check in took a Long time - but wery helpful people

Good money for value. Common places are nicer than rooms, I’d take away carpeting for hygiene reasons. Staff were super nice.
I was there fir a convention. It was a massive hotel but felt sozy at the same time. They had couches everywhere. The Train is about a 10 minute walk so that was very convenient. There is a grocery store down the road. I was a very nice place.
Quite a nice hotel near the airport. Stayed for one night in a standard room. Rooms were equipped with all you can expect from a 4 star hotel except a kettle, toiletries and free bottled water but didn't really matter since I had my own.
The general experience is very good the room is nice and clean and the hotel is huge, F&B quality. Only bad experience is the cleaner keep coming inside the room for cleaning, even we put not disturb sign, sometimes they come around 8am. That’s not acceptable at all
Rooms were immaculate. Staff all welcoming. Location is the only negative as you need to travel into centre but its not too far.
This was a fantastic place to stay. It’s a little bit far out-of-the-way in terms of sightseeing, but really quiet and serene environment. The restaurant was amazing really really good Italian food. The spa was really nice although the hours are not ideal. The gym however, is open 24 hours.

It was a nice hotel, nice rooms, the location was a bit annoying to get to. The breakfast was amazing however their 24/7 snacks were kinda lazy for example the nachos are just corn chips microwaved with cheese slices on top. Over good hotel though and would stay there again.
During my recent stay at Hilton Berlin, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, making me feel valued as a guest. The accommodations were modern and well-maintained, and the central location allowed easy access to attractions. Overall, it was a delightful experience that truly reflects their commitment to customer...
Hotel itself spectacular beautiful, looks luxury with bar in the lobby and restaurant for breakfast with amazing view. Rooms looks beautiful and spaced enough with nice furniture, but room was not vacuumed properly so nails from previous customer was everywhere on the floor. Hotel provides slippers and bathrobe that very comfy. Location is heart of the city, nothing can be better. Beautiful city and...
I recently stayed at the Hilton in Berlin, and it was fantastic! The location is perfect—just a short walk from attractions like Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. The rooms are modern and spacious, with great city views. I loved the breakfast buffet and appreciated the friendly, helpful staff. The interior design of the lobby was also great. It was clean and the staff was very welcoming. The bar...
My stay at Hilton Berlin was amazing. It’s my first stay with Hilton and my expectations were high, and rightfully so. All the expectations I had were exceeded tenfold. I would like to point out some people that were especially memorable to me. From the Front Desk it was Monica, Michaela, Luca and Konstantin. They gave me the best first and last impression of the hotel and the amazing service. Always...
I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Berlin, located in one of the most charming areas of the city. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped, providing a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. My experience was flawless, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking exceptional hospitality in Berlin.

This was a great find in a city that is still finding its way.
Located a short walk from Potsdamer Platz station, and an easy walk to Tiergarten, Jewish memorial, Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag.
Plenty of spots for a beer and food on the way, very safe area to start to explore and get around.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bed very comfortable and a good size bathroom...
Hotel was good and not so good.
Decent location, close to Potsdamer Platz (for transportation to airport not too bad, not too good), walking distance to most sights.
Room bare minimum. For the price unacceptable.
We got the chance to check in early for some extra euros which we accepted. Room wasnt ready (third bed not prepared and no towels for third person, it was me, son and husband), so we had...
Ok mid level hotel.
Two gripes:
our rooms were cleaned without us asking (stayed only two nights and didn't require or ask cleaning. We thought their policy is that they do NOT clean unless you tell them to.
Secondly bathroom-toilet had a coloured glass window which is kind of stupid, because when you use it during the night, light spills into the bedroom which might wake others up.
Reception gave...
Great hotel, suitable for big events, too. The rooms are clean, breakfast is excellent, while dinners were perfect. The staff is very polite and responsive.
Very central hotel, walking distance to Brandenburg and quite in a active corner of the city. Breakfast is amazing with so much variety! they have also a special corner for the kids and for those who have a special diet. Rooms are clean, cozy and spacious. Shower is ideally working and all the small touches in the hotel have been executed professionally. Definitely recommended hotel with perfect open...
Great breakfast with everything you need and more. Beds were comfortable and there were fine indoor parking facilities. The hotel had everything you need for shorter stay all the key things needed to give you a good nights sleep, top breakfast to start the day and central location in a quiet street, but only few hundred meter from the U-bahn with easy access to all of Berlin. Location is very convenient as it’s within 10 mins of station. The reception staff need some work on their customer service / attitude as when they checked me in, they weren’t very friendly at all.
However, you would rarely interact with the reception thankfully. The room was satisfactory and was good for a 4 day stay!
I loved this hotel on my first stay. Excellent service and amazing location.
My second booking was somewhat different. I booked two nights directly through the website. A few days later I had to add an extra night but couldn't do this through the website so had to use booking.com instead. A few days before my stay (and well within the cancellation period) my plans changed and I could not fulfil...
Such a great hotel in a great location.
The room that i had , it was amazing. The breakfast was nice but had a lack of pluralism.
The reception desk team was the highlight cause everyone were so helpful any time.
The restaurant staff was quite unhappy and not so smiley.
This is a centrally located hotel in Berlin. Friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast buffet. Everything was well maintained, comfortably airconditioned (important in July) and clean and the room was nice and quite. If you get a room with 2 beds note that the beds are not that large. Also, be careful about advanced payments. I paid in advance via a booking site but had to pay again at...
The location of this hotel is very good: subway is just a 5 min walk. The room was clean and the breakfast was amazing! You have to try the pancakes they make. The staff was very nice, especially Alejandro who always solved all the doubts we had. The gym is also nice.
My recent stay at the Riu Plaza Berlin was nothing short of exceptional. This 5-star hotel, located in the vibrant heart of Berlin, perfectly combines modern comfort with sophisticated style.
Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the sleek, contemporary design of the lobby and the warm welcome from the staff. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor set the tone for a delightful stay.

Our family stayed here for a short city break. Nice hotel, clean, presentable and we had a lovely family room. The restaurant menu for lunch and dinner is very limited, we didnt eat at the hotel but would have done if the lunch and dinner menu was better. Lots of other guests did the same. Hotel Berlin you are missing out!! Would recommend hotel to other guests, close to metro and all the sites.
Hotel Berlin, Berlin is a great Hotel with Art details. You can see many different art installations in every corner and corridor. Every room is diff so you can come back and find you in a different, beautiful room every time. Although some furniture and the hair dryer was a little bit old, everything was working fine. And I can’t say anything about location. It’s great. Running at one of the biggest...
The service will have to be improved. The staff do not put a smile in all the situations possible. From the waiter, to the customer service employee. When we told them that the room to keep the suitcases was closed. He insisted that was wrong without leaving his seat at his office
Lively and modern hotel with s really good vibe. The self check in was the only bit that was slightly fiddly but got there with a bit of help! Room was generous and bed comfortable with air con and a window that opened. Fairly busy road outside but noise insulation was good. Nice attention to detail and a great bathroom. Loved the bar downstairs and breakfast had huge choice.
We stayed a week at Hotel Berlin, Berlin in September. We found the staff to be really friendly and helpful and the lobby area is bright and welcoming. Following other reviews I specifically requested we get a quiet room not overlooking the square to avoid any road noise.
The room itself was quiet, well appointed and perfect for our stay where we were out and about mostly. I've only scored 4 stars...

We were here at the hotel for a long weekend and it was in a great location to see the sights of Berlin.
We booked a premium room with a sofa bed which was great for a family of 4. The room was clean and large and had a huge bathroom with a bath tub.
We booked directly and chose the option that included parking and breakfast. Parking is onsite in a basement no worked well.
Breakfast was great with...
We stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental Berlin for three nights, and overall, the stay was good, and the room itself was very comfortable. However, there were a few things that disappointed us.
First, the room had a double bed, which is meant for a couple, but we were provided with two tiny individual blankets. This didn’t make sense, and we had to request a larger blanket, which they referred to...
While the overall service at the Intercontinental Berlin met expectations, my stay was marred by a significant cleanliness issue in the rooms. The design and appearance of the rooms are pleasant, but unfortunately, both of the rooms I booked were not adequately cleaned. In my first room, I was shocked to discover hair scattered throughout, even on the bedside table. After requesting a room change,...
I recently stayed at this hotel, and while it was a good experience overall, I wouldn’t consider it a true five-star property.

However, the rooms felt a bit dated, lacking the...

I stayed at your hotel with my two grandsons for an entire week to sightsee in Berlin and attend the Euro Final Soccer Match. It’s a great hotel, well connected with train and bus and it’s not so far from cool places to eat and visits some stores. Of course it’s not in the city center but it’s a good option because it’s not too far away using public transportation. The hotel has a plenty options to eat near by, and the hotel staff are amazing, they are always welling to guide and helping you.
Excellent hotel! Located 100 meters from Kodam Street. The room is clean and everything is new, there is air conditioning and a coffee machine. The staff is pleasant and always happy to help. We were allowed to check out late. Thank you very much, it was great.
Good:
- Clean and modern room with coffee machine and complimentary coffee as well as tea.
- Prime location near Kurfürstendamm and Savignyplatz. Nice sustainability offer of gifting guests a free drink if they decide to opt out of room service on a given day.
- Wellness was under renovation therefore unusable
- Staff seemed unmotivated to help
Bad:
- Room was very warm all the time. Opening the window...

Great location if you know your way around Berlin. Very comfy rooms, clean and with cool lighting options. Stuff is friendly and always available. I took away one star from room rating because I could not turn off the light above TV so I had to unplug it manually.
A very high standard of Hotel with beauty kept and spacious rooms. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The lobby restaurant/Bar is a very friendly place, again with brilliant, helpful and friendly staff. The food I had was very well priced and very delicious too.
All in all I highly recommend this hotel.
The rooms are a really great size and the bathrooms are lovely. Cleaning is thorough. Breakfast had plenty of vegetarian options.
Ideally suited for business travellers with the facilities on site. However, if you’re looking to explore Berlin as a tourist it is a little out of the way, even accounting for its proximity to a subway station.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bed could benefit from additional, more supportive, pillows. The breakfast offering is fairly broad and of good quality. It is easy to get into the city centre by tram (M5 or M6 services) or take an S train (ring bahn) and then Underground, as the stops are just outside the hotel. Lengthy queue at check-in.
What a lovely hotel! For a reasonable price, it is located fairly centrally, has beautiful decor and received superb service from staff! If you get a room at the upper levels you may also get a nice view out to the city. I will definitely be staying here again when I come to visit the city.
This is a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. Located close to the S-Bahn, so one can easily access the busy touristy areas of Berlin, and then go 'home' for an evening of quiet and peaceful enjoyment of the space. Very beautiful and cozy hotel. The service could be better in some aspects like at the restaurant for breakfast more than once there were no mugs and when I asked a waitress she didn’t know what to do. Quite disappointed with the room. First we were sent to the room with the wrong keys. Had to go all the back to the reception. Got a new room nit sure it what what we paid for. Rather small for a superior with a very small bathroom. Third there was urine in the toilet when we arrived. They

It’s been a lovely stay here. The rooms are big and you can’t hear any of the neighbors which is perfect. The duvet are a bit small but had a great time, the breakfast is great with lots of choice.

My experience at the JW Marriott in Berlin was excellent. My husband and I spent two nights there and were pleased with the hotel, bar, and restaurant staff.
Our room was beautiful with a heated floor in the bathroom. Everything was clean and room service came in and replaced towels and glasses while we were out exploring the sights.
We went to the hotel bar one night and there was a great band there...
Arrived at the hotel today for a work trip, stunning service from the minute we arrived! No need to carry your bags… they’ve got it covered ! Recommend the room service.. especially Marle , put an order in over the phone and has to you in minutes, amazing experience so far! - Ryan
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The decor of the suite was lovely. In particular the attention to detail - a personalized welcome card, salt for the tub etc. The room also had pretty much any amenity kit required so you had everything you needed without having to call. In general a quiet and calm vibe with access to the terrace…
We enjoyed our stay at the JW Marriott/Berlin Aug 28-29-30. The staff were very helpful and the room was very quiet. The hotel is a short distance from the downtown core but worth the value. The breakfast buffet is the best we have ever experienced in Europe. Excellent choice and quality.
A wonderful hotel with a great location, very close to everything. I used Uber for my movements. We had access to the lounge, but for a Muslim and someone with a lactose allergy, there weren't many options, which was the only downside. The cleanliness was excellent, and everything else was fine. Although it is not centrally located, it was okish for those who move with own vehicle. Executive lounge was also average level (F&B) but good that children could entered. Breakfast was a bit simpler than others.
This hotel really punches above its weight.
The rooms were great, spacious and beautifully furnished.
The service was as good as any 5 star hotel I've stayed in, such as the Ritz or the W.
Solid gym with dumbells up to 20kg and a pool that was being renovated during my stay.
Really great value, slightly off the beaten path so it's not in the heart of things, but it's also quiet.
The location of this hotel is perfect for someone who wants to explore Berlin. The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast on some days is great with fancy pancakes and meat balls. There is no swimming pool in this grand hotel, which was disappointing. The internet in the rooms is slow. However, I enjoyed my stay and would book again.
I’ve stayed here a few times. I will never stay here again., The Room are dated, The AC NEVER works, NO WIFI AT ALL , The TV is like 24 inches, pathetic, Very poor service, if at all, i called to get things delivered to my room and I had to go pick it up myself. Only one elevator was working. The breakfast was good but for €32 absolutely not worth it. Stay away.
The room was decent (but frankly outdated for a hotel of that standard) and the bed pretty comfortable, but we were disappointed with the staff, service, and amenities.
Check in, check out, and even picking up the luggage later on took a long time because there were 1 or maximum 2 people at the front desk, who seemed inefficient and poorly trained.

Impressive foyer, good food, clean and tidy rooms. I found the corridors to be bare and somewhat clinical. The chairs in the bar area are very low (couches and arm chairs). All I in all a good hotel and I would go back again.
I recently stayed at the Westin Berlin, and while the hotel offers a great location and comfortable rooms, there were a few issues that affected my stay.
First, the check-in process needs improvement. The queue was unclear, leading to confusion and discussions among guests about who should be helped first. A better-organized system would easily fix this. Additionally, the friendliness of the check...
After a cold 15-minute walk from the Holocaust Memorial to the U-bahn, my young son and I stopped in for hot chocolate and an *ahem* adult beverage at the bar. It was quiet and had a very welcoming atmosphere. He felt important being able to sit at the bar, and the hot chocolate was outstanding. The little cookie in the whipped cream was a nice touch!
Great hotel, the location is amazing at 1km from Brandenburg Gate, 1km from the Museum Island and 1km from Check-point Charlie.
It has a subway outside the building which connects to the main tourist spots.

Thoroughly impressed with our stay here. The room was very spacious and clean, the reception and concierge were helpful with everything. The location was central so it was easy to get around. Would stay again if I ever went back to Berlin.

Our recent stay at the Adlon Kempinski Berlin was easily among the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The hotel itself is traditional, yet nothing is out of date, old or distressed as is common in “traditional” hotels. I had great expectations of staying in Adlon. The location is indeed great, service was good. The room was good, but air-conditioning was out of order. However after checked out and settled the bill, I left hotel and next day I received second charge of the same amount, so I complained that they overcharged me double of price of my stay. Still my complaint was not answered by the manager.
Very centrally location - with views of the Brandenburg gate which is incredible
Hotel is of a high standard and has a classic old school feel throughout.

Great location - close to the main station. Staff helpfull and friendly. Room a decent size. Good breakfast - help yourself. Negatives: no kettle, had to ask for more pillows. No USB charge points for phone, had to use charger and adapter. Beds a bit low.
Great location. Close to all public transport (train, bus and tram) as well as Taxi's. The Cube building is close by as well with really good food. Staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. If you sign up for their rewards program then reception will give you a free travel pass for all public transport during your stay.
10/10 for me. The service was kind and fast, the room was spacious, very clean, you hear no noise from the inside. Slept like a baby as well. I'd recommend it for business and leisure, as it's very close to the main station and at a walkable distance from Reichstag.
Modern hotel in a great location, right next to the central station. Friendly 24hr service at reception.
Rooms are fairly minimal but bed was comfy and bathroom was clean and modern. Saw a little earwig-type bug 🪲 at one point but it wasn't really an issue.
Decent breakfast but wish the cooked options would vary a bit, rather than only having the choice of eggs/bacon/mushroom/hash browns the entire...

Great location , rooms were small but very nice and neat. The terrace is amazing with views of Berlin.
Lot of problems when checking-in, management of reservations and invoices. Rooms are small and with no room for clothes. Still a lot to improve in customer experience. Nice terrace to have a drink.
Great hotel, rooftop bar was my favorite one for summer night! The elevator are super quick, but you feel nothing inside so that's why all top5 stars
Perfectly located hotel in the center of Berlin, very pleasant service, beautiful view from the higher floors. Great breakfast with a beautiful view of Berlin and its center. Trouble-free parking in the nearby garages, which are primarily intended for the Berlin Zoo. The rooms are smaller but absolutely sufficient for an overnight stay, and for that you get a perfect location in the center of Berlin...
As always a great experience with Motel One. This one in particular is great. Roof top bar on 10th floor offers great views and a lot of outdoor space. I had a room on the 17th floor. Thank you for that!!
This hotel has excellent location, lots of shops and restaurants around. Good shopping possibilities. KaDeWe in walking distance. Just a few meters from the ZOO. Lots of bus stations and U bahn stations around. The rooms are well equipped and clean, only missing tea/ coffee facilities in the room. The staff was ok, the reception staff was not very pleasant and tried to bill my stay twice, after some...

Decent place with modern design, and very convenient location. No luxury, but price is quite reasonable. Could have been nice with fridges in the rooms
Clean, renovated and nice staff! Great location and nice view of the city (was on the 13th floor) ✌️ Liked that in the lobby there’s a big table with sockets where digital nomads can work comfortably and have some interesting conversations with each other 😄
The price was relatively high because my stay was a bit before the Berlin marathon weekend. Wish there was a fridge in the room.
They have friendly and helpful staff. Especially Mr. Şahin, like all Turkish origin people, is a very helpful and understanding employee. I would like to thank him. He made my vacation more beautiful. Although the rooms are small, they are very useful, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The best part of the hotel is that transportation is very easy and it is located in a lively square.
It was a great, no-nonsense stay. The room was neat and fine. The hotel is very centrally located and a good base to reach the main hotspots on foot and/or by public transport. Also the transport to and from the airport is very easy.
The overall experience was good. Nevertheless, there are some remarks. Due to the size of the hotel, it felt a bit like a mass market getaway. This easily makes attention...
Stayed there recently for a couple of days. Location is really great.
I arrived two hours before check-in time, and was cheked-in without any problem (check-in and check-out were pretty fast). Room was clean, bed was big and comfortable. Big plus for me was an ability to open window in the room.
The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast, but for two days that's fine.
Clean and cozy rooms. The staff were super polite.
The breakfast can be improved though, you don’t have omelette or fried eggs as options, only boiled eggs.

Great location, nice rooms, great service.
We arrived a bit early hoping to leave our bags but they were kind enough to check us in to our rooms early.
Nice hair/body shampoo in the shower.
We were not a stay over guest, but we had spare time till the next Train. I have to especially put out a thanks to Joshua at reception who treated us like special guest even tho I told him that we only wanted drinks. He even took our luggage into storrage and showed us the bar area and explained everything. This was exceptional. And our bartender Ibrahim was such a special person. Quick and very attentive...
+ | The location was perfect for us directly opposite the station as we had an early train in the morning. The hotel is modern and nicely decorated. The room was clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The large bar did nice cocktails and the buffet breakfast was good.
- | The rooms are very small. OK for one night, but for two people any more than that would have been pushing it confort wise
Staff are friendly and the room was always cleaned to a high standard; however, there were several issues during our stay:
-water pressure in the shower was mediocre and the temperature would not go beyond warm
-walls were quite thin and we could hear conversations had in the room next door
-despite being on the 10th floor, street noise was a problem during our stay
-showel gel was not halal: it contained...
I had a surprisingly pleasant stay at Motel One Berlin recently. While there were a couple of initial hiccups with the Wi-Fi and room temperature, the management went above and beyond to fix the situation. They were quick to respond, genuinely apologetic, and really focused on making things right. Highly recommend this hotel for their commitment to customer satisfaction.
I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel for two days. The room was immaculate and the overall ambience was very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located just a 4-minute walk away from Berlin Train Central Station 🚅.
The breakfast was a real highlight for me, and the staff provided excellent service. I would like to give a special shoutout to "Natty" for her help during breakfast 🙏. I...

Great experience! Quiet and peaceful stay in the chic hotel. Feel warmed welcomed with drink and snack too. Aquarium is grand!
Great location, rooms are comfortable and modern. Make sure you check out the massive aquarium from the elevators. Good value on the breakfast. Make sure you have it outside weather permitting. Train station is a five minute walk. Overall, a great experience
Stayed here in 2017 and it was an unexpected highlight of our trip to Berlin, not only as a comfortable and good quality hotel, but in thanks to the remarkable cylindrical aquarium that stands from ground floor to top in the middle of the atrium (the largest water tank in the world I believe)
Every room looks out on to this aquarium, giving you one of the most unique hotel experiences you could encounter...
This hotel is AMAZING! As soon as you walk in, the first thing that you see is this huge cylindar fish tank which is located behind the reception desk. It's truly spectacular.
The lobby area is nice and airy and the staff are very welcoming. They are so friendly and polite.
The bar area is also very nice and the breakfast is delicious. There is a nice selection of food, that is well cooked and very...
Currently staying here with my family and our stay has been great so far the services are very good the only down side to the hotel is that children aren't allowed in the swimming pool after 7 o' clock. Our safe got stuck and a couple of minutes after we let the reception know a man came in and fixed it in a couple of minutes. Great hotel.
Excellent and extremely!
A large aquarium - it's his thing!!! Was ostanavlivalas in the summer of 2017. We were offered a choice of rooms with views of the city or the aquarium. We chose, of course the aquarium! It's magical! It's fascinating!
The children were delighted.
The hotel is gorgeous, would recommend.
Great cocktails at the bar. The staff is polite and tries very hard.
The rooms are small...
