The room size is a bit small for two ppl but it is definitely friendly for budget limited travelers
I had a great stay, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect close to everything but still quiet. The amenities were ok and I’d definitely stay here again!
Good location but a bit noisy. The room is narrow as it is not enough to walk.
Great hostel. You can eat, drink, sit and chill. Nice area out the back available to sit in. Close by supermarket or food places.
Very large hostel, brought back memories of my school days, the common room on the ground floor is very large, almost like a pub, giving it a very cosy feel. The room was large and the facilities were clean, except for the lighting which was a little grey. Overall a very nice stay.
I had a great experience with my reservation. The place was very clean, well-maintained, and worth the price. The staff was attentive and provided detailed assistance throughout my stay. Everything was well-organized, and I truly appreciate the excellent service. I highly recommend it!

Hygienic as A&O has a trustable hygienic standard, a 10 min walk from Berlin HBF
I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel; it was actually my second time there, and once again I was extremely satisfied. The central location right by Berlin Central Station makes it easy to reach all parts of the city quickly. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. After the first night, I wanted to change my bed and that was taken care of quickly and without any hassle. All in all, there’s...
Good location, close to train station. Friendly staff. If I remember correctly, there was no locker in the room.
Quite accessible. Close to the central station. This A&O is way better than the one in Edinburgh. Much cleaner, and the room is bigger.
The location is good, and the facilities are generally sufficient. The lounge area at the reception is spacious and pleasant. Rooms with many people can get quite stuffy and noisy.
Clean and tidy. Polite staff, quick to help. Happy with my stay.
very small and unsafe. no air in the room. when we were at the room, cleaning staff just opened the door without knocking and we were naked at the moment. she didn't go out, she just finished her tasks and went out without apologizing. i say no to this hotel.

I stayed there myself in a 4 bed dormitory room. It was an excellent room and I liked the service. But it is better to have a socket near the bed for charging. They have two usb charging ports near every beds but it is better to have a c port or a charging socket. But overall, I liked it. Especially the staffs are always helpful. I am highly recommend it to whom who are looking for a cheap accommodation
It was easy to access from tram station, nice staffs. We have to use stairs from 7 to 8 floor, it can be hard. Guest kitchen was honestly messy and not clean, but it is the hostel. There was hair dryer, shower, there were everything that I needed. It was good staying.
Overall the stay was pleasant.
good hotel in Berlin value for money suitable for short visit value for money
Rooms are comfy, breakfast was really good and the service is at the highest level. Nearby you will find bus stops and shops about 3/4 minutes away. More demanding customers may find fault with something. However, it is also worth looking at the price of the rooms. If someone requires a 5-star room, let them go to a 5-star hotel.
As the first room was smelly and bathroom a little messy, probably due to the guest's usage, I asked for changing room and the second room was clean & neat. The staffs were quick to response on requests. Location is a little far from tram station but place is happening downstair but yet still quiet at rooms.

Generator hostel is really good. Nice beds and very clean. The bathrooms are a bit of a mess to take a shower but nothing too worrisome. Staff is nice.
Self check-in was seamless. Shower room was clean. Only issue is card sometimes not working for the shower room
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. Firstly, the location of the hotel is fantastic. Situated in the trendy Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood, it offers easy access to various attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The surrounding area is full of vibrant energy, with plenty of cafes, boutiques...
The room is quite sanitary, the bed is acceptable, but the public bathroom facilities are simple, the shower head is 360° full, and the water level is blocked. Since there are many teenage students, it is very noisy and unsupervised, but for the price, it is good for Berlin. It's quite cheap, and if you have high tolerance, it can be a good choice for travelers who don't want to spend their budget...
I loved the vibe of GENERATOR, the location and check-in were excellent, they could improve the care in the bathrooms, for example: change the shower curtains, they look a little worn. The cleaning staff was very friendly. There is an outside patio where you can hang out which makes you feel at home. I would return without a doubt
The location is a bit remote, but it has a train station next to it that connects with everything.

Great location and friendly service. I enjoyed my short stay there.
Its rooms are claustrophobic. We'll maintained but not up to the mark. Poor ventilation
Quite a decent hostel , located in a good place if you just need to sleep before going to the airport
The hotel was not very clean for that price also the day of check out I was asleep and someone knocked on the door and said it’s your check-out day (much before the check-out time)
Very good service but some kind of homelrss people in my room; probably no mich to dö about it but you get what you paid for.
Everything was super nice during our trip. Breakfast starts at 7 and lasts until 11, so it was nice to have a late-morning option.

This hostel is good. It has comfortable beds. The facility is modern. The location is very good just near the city center. It has a coffee shop and a bar as well. There is a place to sit downstairs and people can work there. There was no A/C in the room so it could be hot during the summers but it was fine when I was staying there. Great hostel for solo travellers.
I had an absolutely lovely stay at Generator! I like staying in Generator usually, it's convenient and amenities always in good condition, and so was this too. But the people working at this generator went out of their way to help, which made this stay even a better
We had a wonderful stay at the generator in a private room with 5 people. It was clean and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend coming here. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to be helped by Antonio at the front desk!
The room was fine, but this hostel lacks common space for a comfortable stay. I would have preferred to have a kitchen and/or eating area as there are a lot of good restaurants around, but nowhere to bring food back to unless you eat in the courtyard.
A lot of good restaurants and bars around. S and U trains, tram station are just in 1-2 minutes. Ex-Techeles is just next building (now is under construction). 20 min walk to Museum Island. Daily room clean service. Hostel is really clean. Nice social areas. Good coffee!

We stayed with a large group here and were all very satisifed. The rooms are spacious and clean. The meals were quite delicious, especially the desserts and the hot chocolate :) We usually didn't have to wait for long. The staff was very friendly. The Catering was ok but nothing special. I had a very nice and comfortable stay in this hostel. Breakfast was tasty and extensive. My room was very clean on arrival and during my stay. Friendly and helpful staff. I received a very friendly, relaxed, and professional welcome. The information and advice were clear and welcoming, so I really felt like I could be myself here. There was nothing artificially friendly or businesslike; everything just flowed smoothly and naturally. The atmosphere, partly due to the location, is down-to-earth and lively. Despite the hustle and bustle and the many noises from the surrounding...
The beds were ok, the room smelled weird, the showers were not great, there wasn't a lot of people hanging around when I was there. The best part was the buffet breakfast, very good and worth the price.
Good family stay It was a very nice stay - even if it was only for one night. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable but otherwise it was really nice. We stayed at the hotel due to a concert at Uber Arena - it was great to be able to just walk back to the hotel.
The best thing about this hotel is its location, with easy access to the station and tourist spots. The rooms are simple and spacious, equipped with individual lights, power outlets, and lockers, and are clean. However, bed making is self-service, and the mattresses and pillows are a little old. The common areas are well-equipped, with a lounge, terrace, shared kitchen, and cafe/bar, which is convenient...

Great ambiance, friendly staff, strategic location and good value for our money

Roommates are noisy. They even had parties inside the room til midnight. It is not easy to have a comfortable sleep.
The room is quite small for the 6-ppl suite. But I think given the price is so affordable, there is nothing much to complain about. Location is good. Not very clean as I see some stains on the blanket.

I have been visiting the hostel regularly in December for many years - always with a group of several dozen people to visit Berlin and enjoy the atmosphere of the Christmas markets. We went to Berlin for an excursion with a group of c. 60history students from Utrecht University. Pegasus Hostel proved to be the excellent choice, because of the good and clean facilities, the good breakfast, and the good contacts we had with the hostel staff, both before and during our stay. I recommend Pegasus Hostel very much, also because of the almost unbeatable price-to-value ratio.
A great hostel for the price. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. The room was clean and had all the basic necessities. Shower worked well. Beds were very bad with hard springs, but it was to be expected. Breakfast was adequate with rolls, toppings, eggs and drinks (tea was very dirty). If you are on a city trip and will not be here for the rest of the day, this is a great hostel.
Very good hotel and fantastic service. The people are very friendly and help you with al your problems! I would recommend it to anyone as you are always sure it will be good. We hope you have as nice a trip as we did.
Good location, friendly staff, but there is no social life or lounge here. Mostly families or people working in the city waiting to find an apartment. Also, annoying about having to borrow the dishes you need to cook and take them to the kitchen rather than having dishes in the kitchen.
I liked to be there. The location is very good, it was so easy to get this hostel from the airport by metro without changing, and the wall, or the restaurant/ party area is available easily by walk. Clean, comfy and convenient location.internet access not good at all
Good location, close to S- and U- banhoff, 10 min from kreuzberg. quiet, good size rooms with bathrooms. Breakfast was continental, quite nice. recommended!
Large rooms with comfortable beds. Very clean. Tremendously helpful service at the front desk. Very very close to both U-bahn and S-bahn. Lots of shopping and bats and restaurants in this neighborhood. Best kept secret in Berlin?
The rooms are not soundproof, every little noise can be heard all over the floor. No wifi in rooms, and you need a special code for every device that you put in every time you connect. Breakfast has very limited options and quantity. Shower is inconvenient, and towels are 3.50 Eur. This is more of a hostel than a hotel.

As a solo traveller the single rooms are great. I always go for one with its own en-suite bathroom. The breakfast is great and staff are always really friendly.
Pretty good for it's price. Pretty small rooms and there was a pipe through our room, so we could hear people on the floor above us flushing the toilet. Toilets are shared on each floor. But very nice and helpful staff. Perfect place for city trips if you just need a place to sleep and some tips for the trip.
We're a family of five (journey of a nomadic family) who spent 3 nights here. The staff are WONDERFUL. Had a great time and would definitely return.
A lot of noise, not just from the people. Staff could be friendlier. Beds are okay for the price. The bathroom was clean. Close to public transport and a lot of party/bar opportunities nearby. It's an alternative neighbourhood, good place to stay if you like that.

It was good for the price I paid. There was a firealarm twice during my one-week-stay. You can go there, it’s not too bad. I never saw another person in the shared bathroom for instance. Good location . Easy to go to downtown of Berlin by subway . The price is amazing for this location . Personal is friendly. Breakfast could be better for the price but it is ok .
Not bad! Good service! Complete facilities, large public space, but the only drawback is that it is hard to find, and the transportation is not very convenient. The most imperfect point is: I didn't pay attention and booked a mixed dormitory, which is too disgusting. Everyone should remember to check carefully when booking a room. Girls should avoid mixed dormitories. It's not safe!
