I travel around often and I sleep in hotels many nights a year, I had never experienced the situation that I had when I arrived at the Hilton Berlin. I had booked, and paid for a ‘Twin Room with Dome View’ about 4 months before the trip. Upon check-in, I was automatically assigned a room that was not twin nor Dome View (you can see the view in the pictures below); I went back to reception twice,...

The hotel is old, but well maintained for the most part. The rooms are average but are warm and the AC does not work well. The front desk staff at the hotel needs to get their act together, they come across inexperienced, cold and unbothered. Not a great experience!!

Unfortunately my room was not entirely clean upon arrival. Also one bottle of water was already emptied by a previous visitor. The staff members were very friendly though and cleaned the room quickly (but the bottle was still empty and I never figured out if there are any amenities?).

The hotel was conveniently located with a taxi stand directly out front making it very easy to get around the city. The staff were also quite pleasant. Currently staying here with my family and our stay has been great so far the services are very good the only down side to the hotel is that children aren't allowed in the swimming pool after 7 o' clock. Our safe got stuck and a couple of minutes after we let the reception know a man came in and fixed it in a couple of minutes. Great hotel.

Great location, great food and great service. This location is great for families and business travellers. Vox is a nice bar for the evenings and weekends and the staff enjoy their work which is nice to see. Rooms are nice and clean. My only negative feedback is the coffee at breakfast.. terrible. But at least their have a Deli in the hotel where you can go to and buy better coffee.

Although the interior colours in this hotel are cold and dreadful, the service, the amenities, and the location more than make up for it. It's not the most convenient location for the new airport, but it's so close to major sightseeing spots and Potsdamer area itself has so many shops and restaurants around. It's very safe and clean as well. Would not hesitate to book here again.

Really nice hotel with great service and spa/sauna. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The mini bar had interesting drinks that were reasonably priced compared to other hotels. The location is pretty convenient as Potsdamer Platz is super close by and provides access to get anywhere.

This hotel is located in one of the best spots in west Berlin, very near central places and the Zoo Bahnhof but also on a quiet square without traffic and noise. The hotel is in a good location. It is an old-fashioned hotel. The rooms facing the garden are quieter. The rooms are not very big. But they are fully equipped. You need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.

The second time I stayed, the room was upgraded and the experience was much better. The bathroom renovation added points. This time I was told that in addition to the indoor swimming pool, there was also a sauna and a gym available. I will come again next time.

This was my birthday treat, 1 night at the Schlosshotel. It was absolutely worth it. The decor, the works of art, the attention to detail and caring staff, everything was of the highest quality. The hotel is okay, but I can’t give it 5 stars. The location is incredibly beautiful, and the rooms are clean and nice. Half of the staff we interacted with were super friendly and kind, while the other half were the opposite. For two whole days, there was no hot water in the tap until the evening.
