Hotel Amadeus Central

It was better than being homeless. The room wasn't that clean, but clean enough. It felt very old, just 2 physical keys, 1 for the entrance and 1 for the room. The "flat TV" was just the size of a computer screen. I could clearly hear the traffic from the room. The workers there was not rude or anything, that is why I am giving it more than just 1 star.

Great location for Messe Sud and for chabad. less than 20 min with transportation. Got Room 201. No Soap or champoo in the room. not a hotel for a guy in wheelchair. Bed ......TV forget it. 3 plug in a triple room. outside Berlin Mess , do not recommend it . 99 € per night.

Here's my genuine thoughts.. the location is nice, there's good connections with S Bahn and busses, there are restaurants and shops around and it feels like a safe area. The ladies at reception are nice. Now, some constructive criticism. In hospitality always under promise and over deliver. That's how you get great reviews. What you're doing is the complete opposite. Just don't label yourselves as a hotel because people WILL be disappointed overall. If you label yourself as a hostel with private rooms you'll give a more realistic expectation of quality and comfort. I was hoping for a fridge and kettle in the room, but there's not even a shared kitchen so I would strongly suggest you don't stay here for more than 1 night unless you're planning to eat out all the time. Most hostels provide all necessities at least. Also no nightlamp, NO TOILETRIES, since there's no bathroom facilities in your room, make sure to bring SLIPPERS. I unfortunately forgot and deeply regretted that during my 5 day stay 😭 plus the hairdryers are out in the halls, so definitely not thought through. Furthermore, the WiFi works well for about 10-15 minutes and then disconnects, and since I needed internet for work, I ended up using my data throughout the stay. Sometimes there's no toilet paper in the shared bathrooms and so on. Unfortunately there's no refund available, which should be a red flag anyway but, mistakes happen.. also be prepared to be charged 100€ deposit (more on this later). I recommend coming prepared with it in cash, because I gave a debit card and was charged by my bank for an international transaction, not much but these disappointments add up, and certainly if you're cautious with your budget you should consider this. Also there was a dead bug on the sheets. The fact is, there are actual hotels around the area for the same price and there's just no reason to endure all these challenges during your stay. And my recommendation to the owners is to either change your description or just become student accommodation, since it feels like a dorm. This is important: THESE ARE NOT 2 STAR ROOMS AS THE PLAQUE SAYS, because that would mean at least ensuite bathrooms. 1 star for 1 star, only because of the sense I got scammed staying here. The wildest part is, they charged me 100€ deposit twice for some reason, and we are currently in dispute as I'm begging to be reimbursed, sending receipts and my bank account transactions while they're trying to gaslight me that I never paid any deposit. When I say THIS IS WILD! Anyway I'm about to involve legal help but ye obviously avoid this place. I was afraid to post my review because I was worried they will delay my refund, but at this point F it, I have to warn people!

Very old building, it's not really a hotel... Just a random room with a bed and old furniture. The bed is comfortable and the sheets clean. The common shower room is just a shower. The common bathroom is just a toilet and a sink. Very far from the city center and expensive for what it has to offer.
There is a 50€ security deposit (in a "hotel") but I got it back.
I would not recommend it.

Common toilet/shower, sketchy building, it was OK for one night, reasonably cheap and alright if you don't have another option and don't mind it, I didn't mind if for the fact that it was a quick stop and it's so close to everything, but even so it should be better, more welcoming, cleaner and I don't understand to this day why the heck I wasn't allowed on the balcony (my room had one). But I didn't ask, I left as quick as I arrived... Just wish I'd seen a bit more quality. So no, it's not the end of the world but if you like minimum privacy, comfort and plan to stay longer, stay elsewhere.

They charged me 20 euros without warning for late check out . Room rate was 31 euro but penalty for late check out 20 euro. No more Amadeus hotel. No more ... no more .. I will sleep in the street but I’ll never come to this hotel. I don’t advise other visitors also. They charge from everyone by same way . It must be new way of earning easy money. Outside was also very noisy. No more amadeus central.

The good part is, it's a cheap hotel in Berlin and close to the S-bahn... But the rooms are so incredibly dirty. Dirty stains in the chair, on the wall, the whole carpet, the curtains. What wasn't covered in stains? I would recommended for sure to pay a bit more for a better and cleaner hotel because you don't want to spend your nights thinking about the dirt your sleeping in.
