The website photo shows a spacious area with a table and chairs and plenty of space to separate the twin beds. The reality is a room where you cannot walk around the beds, let alone have space to sit at a table. The walls are not insulated, so you will hear everything that your neighbours are saying, and I was wearing ear plugs. The electronic check in machines did not work, and there was only one...

We didn’t have the best sleep the first night. Some guests where screaming and running in the hallway, but the second night was quiet. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the place was clean. We also didn’t have any problems with our roommates. The morning buffet was also good. Location wise a bit far with public transport. Service was friendly!

I booked a single room for 2 people. The room was very clean, we had our own bathroom and shower and a small study room. The atmosphere in lobby is also very good. The location is just perfect as you can easily access the bus stop which is in front of the Hostel and The U8 which is just 5 to 8 min. walk away. Would surely recommend it as its value for the money you pay.

Reading some of the reviews, I feared the worst. It turned out it is not so bad - the common areas are very nice and the room was very clean and while some parts had shown some significant wear and damage, the important parts (bed & bathroom) were in perfect condition. No instructions from the staff. At all. When I checked in and headed to my bed I saw my bed with the dirty sheets from the previous person. Previous girl hasn't taken off the sheets and just left it there. The staff hasn't made sure that my bed is clean as well. So know that when you check in, no one cleans your bed after the other person!!! No one told to this girl that you should take off the sheets...

The location is great, very close to the central station, and the staff were very nice. However, I got for myself a bed in a female shared room thinking it was going to be a bunk bed, but I got a single bed right next to another, which is not ideal when sleeping with strangers. Also, the room was a bit dirty.

Staff was really kind and helpful, allowed us a very early check in and was very quick. Location is great and near the station, rooms are basic but good value for short trips. Overall definitely better than some of the other places in the same area.

Small and cozy! The a&o staff is always super friendly, young, well trained and helpful. They always make sure you are having a good time. Shout out to the bar, which makes the place even cozier, where you have tables and cozy lights to hang out and have some nice drinks. Super easy to make friends as well if you are a solo traveler.

It’s alright if you’re on a budget, not my favourite hostel. There’s always something slightly wrong with my stay in an a&o hostel and I promise myself I’m not gonna stay in another a&o hostel, but they always have availability because they’re huge so when I need to book something quickly I always end up returning. This time I had a really bad allergic reaction to the room but there was no money back...

We got towels and our beds were already made when we arrived, the staff was nice and we were able to do the self checking when we arrived. We were a bit early but there was a large common area to wait until checking time. Everything was clean, the rooms are safe

very small and unsafe. no air in the room. when we were at the room, cleaning staff just opened the door without knocking and we were naked at the moment. she didn't go out, she just finished her tasks and went out without apologizing. i say no to this hotel.

Standard Hotel with standard furnishing. Though really loud rooms near the rails, it was a great location (600 m to Alexander Platz). Still modern and not shabby.

We had a really good stay at the hotel. The room was nice and there was daily cleaning. The staff here was nice and friendly. Our room was right out to the train station but we weren’t bothered by it at all and we barely noticed it.

The best thing about the hotel is the staff! Especially front desk staff - they were fantastic. Always cheerful and ready to fulfill special requests. The beds were also super comfortable. The only complaint I have is I wish there had been more cheese varieties at breakfast - really, that's a tiny issue. Great hotel!

Simple and good-priced losging close to the Ostbahnhoff, with standard Ibis fare. Make sure to ask for windows away from the street, as the local intersection is busy and loud and the view towards the train station is nothing to wrote home about. I’d also avoid paying more than ~90 EUR a night.

This was the cheapest hotel on the internet for our date. We have stayed here with the two of us. We booked and paid for everything online. When we arrived everything went well and the boy behind the counter was very nice. He also spoke English (which I really think is necessary in a hotel). When you arrive you walk straight into the counter. The hotel looks very dull inside. No atmosphere at all...

The hostel is pretty cheap and the room was clean. The position, too, is convenient enough. However, the room was really too hot, it was a complete pain sleeping at night - we couldn't open the windows and there were no A/C. The pillows are horrible. Also, the hallways and the carpet in the hallways are pretty smelly.

Lovely, clean and bright rooms and situated in a nice, connected neighborhood in Kreuzberg. The staff were helpful and friendly and the general hostel atmosphere was friendly but not too busy. Lovely location along the canal too so I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Nice hostel with friendly staff, the room was ok and there is a large lounge with a football table and a bar. There is also a large garden with tables and benches used to drink beer.

This hotel is in a great location with even better transport links. The rooms are kept very clean and tidy and the rooms themselves are a good size which don’t let in much road noise from outside. Only negatives would be that the beds are too hard for me with pillows far too soft (I asked they don’t have any firmer pillows) and the shower randomly goes between boiling hot and freezing cold as noted...

The rooms are basic but nice and clean. Location is great, close to centre. However, we found that the shower temperature constantly switched between freezing cold and scalding hot. I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. The view was nice, and the room was cosy and immaculate. The personnel was nice. It was the ideal location to decompress and rest following an exhausting day of touring.

The air conditioning in the room didn't work at all, and the room overlooked a noisy intersection so your options at night were either to close the window and have trouble sleeping because the room got too warm, or open the window and have trouble sleeping because of the loud noises outside (cars, trams). The stuff was friendly and helpful when our door key did not work. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Wifi was ok but sometimes, it did not work well. The breakfast has only few options and eggs was the only warm food there.

You can expect a vibrant yet calm neighborhood with many malls around for shopping, a grocery store in close proximity, U bahn station and all. I've visited this Ibis location several times because of its convenient, central location. Check in/out was quick and uncomplicated as always. On this occasion I was in Berlin for a concert and had forgotten to print out my tickets - the reception staff immediately offered to print them for me and also gave some information about the venue. Average. It was built around 1980 so looks both out and inside are serviceable, but certainly nothing amazing. The room was smallish, but most importantly clean. Same thing with the bed sheets and towels. Breakfast is offered, but only a very basic one. One the positive side staff was nice and WLAN is stable and decently fast. So if you are staying for a night or two it's fine.

I booked this hotel because I was going for the Coldplay concert and needed somewhere within the walkable distance from the venue. After checking some of the reviews, it got me a bit nervous about staying there. But in fact when I got there, everything is in good order. Staff is nice and available 24/7. Room is as expected for a budget hotel and clean. But it’s bothering that the temperature adjustment was only centrally. Really difficult to sleep as the heating was on and it felt like on an tropical island but it is April in Berlin. On the street side, opening windows did not help and work, as no circulation but only noise was in.

Very easy to get to. Right by the S-U bahn station. Lots of eateries and shops on the doorstep. Staff all spoke english and were pleasant. Room had working air conditioning. Daily housekeeping. It's like two separate buildings were connected to each other, so you need to go through exit doors depending on your room number. Though really funny and had a really nice time there. No lift. It is a very nice hotel and have a very good location. You can walk to Branderburg Tor within 20 mins. Also Checkpoint Charlie is very close. From Anhalter Bahnhof or Postdamer bahnhof you can go anywhere. It takes only around 20 mins to arrive this hotel.

I discovered B&B Hotels last year and they do not disappoint to this day. If you have stayed in one location, chances are that the other one will be similar. The price is adequate for the quality you receive - the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast has a variety of choices (We did not eat during this stay, but have eaten in other locations).

I like this hotel because it's clean. Have been staying in other hotels in this price range and would always prefer B&B. Check in could be improved because the access code never works from the app! We also had to pay one time double, because the outside computer did not have the information that we already paid. First thing I noticed about my room is that there was a large dead bug smashed into the floor of the bedroom. There was no shower curtain and the water pressure was so high that it spayed water across the bathroom.

Great service, cleaning was done well and daily. The breakfast menu was varied. The best thing about this hotel was the location, it was literally across the street from the metro station, I was able to go anywhere in Berlin in no time. Definitely recommend it.
