Pretty pleasant stay. Extensive facilities; there is a volleyball court, a basketball hoop, playground for children, common area with chairs, etc. The rooms are quiet nice and clean. They offer breakfast and cheap beer and snacks. I think the place is perfect for families.

We stayed here for a night in July and it was wonderful. The place is very close walking distance to Partenkirchen and the hosts were so wonderfully hospitable. The breakfast was plentiful with many options and my only regret was honestly not staying longer to fully take advantage of the accommodations!

Service of the host was great – welcoming and very friendly. Garmisch and its surrounding mountains create an atmosphere to enjoy a stay in Haus Trifthof. Just a couple of minutes walking distance to the city centre with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Room was more than nice and clean with comfortable bed and patio seating. Located about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff with a good command of English. We felt very secure in the breakfast room the way they had arranged it so you felt safe from the coronavirus. A great location for all the sights in the area.

This hotel is a gem. It's quaint, clean, and fresh with balconies off the room. The breakfast included is the best and includes a wide variety of items such as meats, vegetables, cheeses, cereals and breads. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft and squeezable. Very comfortable rooms, good price, friendly staff, breakfast was among the best I've had in Germany (standard "continental" fare but a very good selection and everything fresh and delicious). Hostess was very accommodating, helping us with tea and coffee and providing info about the ski conditions. Quiet residential street but 5 - 15 minute walk from multiple restaurants in Partenkirchen. Great little hotel. Its not so central so if you have a car your good. Wonderful breakfast.
