The Wurzelwerk is really expensive but so worth it!! No idea what the chef might be taking, but I have to applaud his creativity and the results. SPA: I must say that I expected a bit more from the roof top pool

The rooms have excellent beds and bathrooms with spa robes and slippers and those cool windows that open from every angle. Front desk and waitstaff are courteous and generous with excellent English

We spent five nights here as part of a family holiday. We have two young children aged two and five and the staff was always very patient and accommodating with us, which was great and make our stay very pleasurable

The room was quite old fashioned but we had a great balconey view of the Zugspitze and the bathroom was modern. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My one disappointment was the outdoor swimming pool

We had originally booked for this added extra. It is advertised as a natural pool but when we got there it was like a brown swamp with bugs in. It did not look anything like the photos on the website

So in the end we spent more money to go to another hotel for the day and use their pool (aja hotel. ) I would recommend this hotel based upon its traditional rooms, service and location

There is a cafe in the hotel and the guy working there today was so so nice to me and my brother. Thank you for the delicious cappuccino, hot chocolate and apple cake! We will remember this as a good memory :)

The hotel itself like a ski lodge style with open common room for breakfast and a lovely dinner area with small bar in the lobby, The food was as good as it gets. Breakfast and Dinner were wonderful

Situation is perfect, hotel has parking place in front of hotel and also garrage. Breakfast is perfect, room has space, bed is excellent and you also have own terrace. For children there is kids corner

The ski shop and shuttle across the street made the trip to the mountain a breeze. The town a few blocks in the other direction gave us the option to walk to dinner and shopping

Within a very short walk to the pedestrian zone (lots of shops and places to eat or drink), Bahnhof, and Zugspitze Bahnhof. Everyone is super nice, friendly, and helpful

The facilities are not spectacular - The pool is rather small but is a nice addition. The Gym was only partly functional as many of the machines are broken or too fragile to be used

The staff were very helpful but did not tend to give out a lot of information. We arrived to the hotel and were not given any welcoming explanations as to when breakfast is open or how to use the facilities

They also did not tell us that the parking was not complementary. I expected a bit more from a 4-star hotel. All in all, the trip was nice and it is a good enough hotel to spend a few days while in Patenkirchen

The staff have been wonderful! This is a great hotel with a full wellness center and great restarant. Everyone spoke both German and English, and were accomodating to all of our needs

If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

We we're welcomed warmly with a beverage of our choice while we filled out the check in paper work. The massage experience was very nice and reasonably priced. The spa/pool area was well kept and enjoyable

A very nice hotel with amazing views. Very unique in that the main method of reaching the building was either by cable car or hiking. The hiking path is excellent as it passes through the Partnach Gorge

We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. The staff is amazing, rooms are well decorated and very comfortable

Great hotel. We arrived with no reservation and luckily they had one room. It turned out to be the hay loft which is the third floor in the barn. It was very comfortable quiet and had beautiful views.

There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad

His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho

After not traveling for 2020 because of Covid, I came back to the Riessersee Hotel in 2021 and was, quite frankly, astounded how a new management company had transformed the hotel and See Restaurant into an overwhelmingly competent resort

But a few years after coming from the USA, and after Marriott dropped out, we began to notice to notice a dramatic decline in management and overall quality. Staff changed on an almost daily basis, things did not work

Everything has been brought up to five star quality: staff, rooms, dining, cleanliness, and on and on. I simply could not believe how they had brought virtually every element in a resort to amazing perfection

I almost forget the fact that the town of Mittenwald is 25 minutes from The Riessersee. It is one of the most beautilful Alpine towns in Europe with an Alt Stadt (Old City) that will knock your socks off!

2022 bring The Passion Spiel to Oberammergau, just 30 minutes away, Linderhoff Palace and Ettal are even closer. The jewel of Germany, Schloss Neuschwanstein is about 45-60 minutes away

We feel like the website was misleading and you would need to be careful when booking and make sure you get the room you want. Overall The only problem we had was we were expecting to have a different room

We were so looking forward to having a balcony to enjoy the views the hotel boasted of, but we were unable to see the view unless we pulled up a chair to see out the skylight

When we arrived, we buzzed the doorbell intercom to get our key. When we opened our room, we realized we did not get a room shown on the website

While the room was decorated very nicely and was very cozy, there were no Windows besides the skylights in the bedroom and the bathroom

Also walking to the hotel is a bit of a trek, so I suggest driving there via your car or taxi

The extra fee for a room with a balcony and view of the mountains was very worth it (an absolute must). While the room decor is dated, the room was very clean

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the mountains, next to the river trail and very close to shops and restaurants

My husband thought it was great though haha Breakfast was great but one of the serving staff kept getting orders mixed. Lovely guy on reception very friendly. Underground car park available bit very steep and quite small

I have to say though the most bizarre thing is the window from the bedroom looking directly at the shower! Not everyone goes away with their partner so not sure how you would shower privately otherwise

That was a mistake, I was charged a 3% conversion fee by the hotel billing system, but if I had gone with Euro and had my credit card do the conversion, there would have been no fee

A very cozy hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We stayed for a couple of days and the hotel was right near the city center and you have the greatest mountain view from there

One thing I would say is that when I accepted the final credit card bill, I was asked if I wanted to pay in Euro or U. $ since that's what my credit card is billed

The hotel is in the centre part of Garmisch Partenkirchen. The rooms are typically german styled, we stayed at the top level, which was very hot on a summer night

We loved the pool and breakfast. Walking into town and to the train for the spitzes. I would love to stay again in the winter time

They have filtered water available near the reception for you to fill your water bottles. We rented their electric car for the day, it was quite affordable at €49 per day, great to use and travel around
