If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

We we're welcomed warmly with a beverage of our choice while we filled out the check in paper work. The massage experience was very nice and reasonably priced. The spa/pool area was well kept and enjoyable

If you do not mind dark old furniture, this hotel is a Good morning choice. Location was great, very walkable. Staff was super nice and buffet breakfast (not included) was satisfactory.

Historic hotel Old but historic hotel with the bath being renovated. Furnitures look more than two hundreds old, including bed frame. But bed mattress are firm and comfort. Overall A- grade.

The hotel is well located, and many excursions can be started from there. This is evident from the stains on the carpet and upholstery. There is a large TV, but it is not usable at all due to poor reception

The location is a little far from the station, but it is within walking distance. The facilities are a little old, but the environment and sanitation are still OK. You can see the mountain when you open the window

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows

The breakfast is also quite good, but there were many people staying on the day I went, and you had to queue up to get coffee. The overall cost performance is still very high, worth recommending!

Everything was great. A small point to note is that there is no air conditioning for the room during winter season, hence you’ll have to leave the windows open as it gets a little stuffy overtime.

Decent price to performance ratio for hotels in the area. Sauna and pool area are very nice and enjoyable. Rooms were remarkably average, but had a nice view out the window

Friendly and nice hotel where we enjoyed our stays. The rooms on the annex across the street are classic design. We stayed in the top room with a beautiful view over the mountain side

I am so thankful! The wellness SPA was well kept, clean and had a complimentary drink bar. There is a warm indoor swimming pool, cold plunge, different saunas, rest areas, showers, and a massage room

The second time we stayed on the top floor of the main building where the rooms are modern design. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times

They have like 4 different saunas: bio sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, and brechelbad sauna, as well as a steam room and cold plunge. They also have a pool and fitness room

I have stayed in countless hotels and this one just became my #1 hotel! The views are fantastic, staff is so helpful. The tall gentlemen with dark hair in reception helped me curate my day to my needs

There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad

His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho

My meal was a superb blend of seasoning and flavors that complimented each other (I had Pork roasted over a beech wood fire, sliced roasted potatatoes, and fresh white asparagus) and it was perfect

Breakfast was included and along with the standard German Breakfast, the kitchen would make dishes to order if you asked. Great service! Finally, the restaurant was exceptional

Normally I am very picky about my hotels and the quality of services within. I have to say my stay at the Hotel Zugspitze was extraordinary

The food was outstanding we had breakfast and the half board. The rooms were phenomenal! Unreal coffee machines in the room!!! The prices are excellent too. I loved it, but more importantly my wife loved it

Cleaning only every other day, was not up to standard especially when travelling with young children. Friendly staff, but didn’t provide much information on the facilities (pool, spa, yoga, sauna etc)

Lovely hotel with lovely staff We stayed for a ski holiday and really loved the hotel. The staff were lovely, they had a shuttle which ran to the slopes every morning and afternoon and made it really easy to get around

The only thing that bothered me was that rooms have no ac and it’s quite a walk from the Bahnhof. Rest the service was great, view was breathtaking. Overall great experience. Would definitely visit again soon.

The hotel itself is about five minutes walk from town, through a lovely park, on a very quiet road. It has free wifi for guests, and a lovely garden in which to enjoy your breakfast or a late night drink

This hotel is pretty neat, clean, friendly customer service and seems to be a family owned and operated. The rooms that we got was at the highest floor (3rd floor) with nice different views on each room

But, When booking this hotel we were looking looking at all the beautiful rooms listed on the website and were very excited to stay in a room with such a beautiful view, and assumed we would get one of the rooms listed

We feel like the website was misleading and you would need to be careful when booking and make sure you get the room you want. Overall The only problem we had was we were expecting to have a different room

We were so looking forward to having a balcony to enjoy the views the hotel boasted of, but we were unable to see the view unless we pulled up a chair to see out the skylight

Wonderful hotel within walking distance from the train station. The beautiful building is full of Bayerisch charm, nice views from the room. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, there is even a small indoor swimming pool

The pool with sauna was nice! Central location makes travelling fun and easy! Free parking on lacation!

The walk to the train station was 5 min and to the main street in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was not much further Simply an awesome place to use as a base to explore the region!!!!

Nice hotel that catered to family members in all age brackets in a convenient location outside the beautiful Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Brilliant sauna and relaxation area and a good bar at night were personal highlights.

Had a great time at this warm friendly family establishment. It is near world class skiing. It also was fabulous for small children and has kindercare.

Great location on the outskirts of town but easily walked from the station in the summer/autumn, just be aware of the hike up a steep trail to the entrance - there is an alternative! Food was wonderful - great variety in the buffet breakfast and dinner

Staff were very friendly and helpful; they make you so welcome. At the back of the hotel are trails with fabulous views of Zugspitze and Alpspitze; you can hike the old bob sleigh run, too

The room was comfortable and spacious, with AC as we had a loft style room that specified with AC. Staff was friendly and helpful, most everyone spoke English

The hotel is clean, natural and private because it is on the mountain. There is a place to walk. I like it very much and will come back to stay again next time.

We booked a room with halfboard. I normally take my pillow with me every time i go on vacation, but this time i could not - the pillows were perfect! So was the room - renovated, clean, a decent (included) minibar

The breakfast was good enough to start the day, but the star of the show was definitely the beautiful indoor heated pool. While it's on the expensive side, the price feels justified for the quality of the amenities

We spent three wonderful nights here in early spring. Our room was incredibly spacious for three people, and we loved the breathtaking mountain view

Very close to Garmisch „downtown“. We were lucky and had a very big room. Some others rooms are significant smaller. Breakfast was very good. Sauna and pool a big old fashioned. Would come definitely again.

The only negative is that the other guests were quite loud on their balconies and always smoking at night, so you can only enjoy the balcony for a little while at night until it starts completely smelling like cigarettes from your neighbors

We paid for 3 people in the room but had to repeatedly ask for an extra towel—3 out of the 4 days

There is a big park right behind the hotel. There is a spa and a pool but we didn't use them. One tip, request a room facing the park. We were on the street side and the traffic was noisy

This is a boutique hotel in a great location. I found this hotel on ******* at the last minute due to our one night stay at another hotel nearby which was sub-standard. This hotel was a life saver and my wife loved it

Get in the winter garden on a Sunday afternoon by 15:30 easily warm food, super! A club sandwich, which was really excellent! To recommend absolutely.

The hotel is in the centre part of Garmisch Partenkirchen. The rooms are typically german styled, we stayed at the top level, which was very hot on a summer night
