If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

We we're welcomed warmly with a beverage of our choice while we filled out the check in paper work. The massage experience was very nice and reasonably priced. The spa/pool area was well kept and enjoyable

My family and I have been coming to The Riessersee Hotel for about 30 Years, way back when it was a Marriott property

After not traveling for 2020 because of Covid, I came back to the Riessersee Hotel in 2021 and was, quite frankly, astounded how a new management company had transformed the hotel and See Restaurant into an overwhelmingly competent resort

Everything has been brought up to five star quality: staff, rooms, dining, cleanliness, and on and on. I simply could not believe how they had brought virtually every element in a resort to amazing perfection

I almost forget the fact that the town of Mittenwald is 25 minutes from The Riessersee. It is one of the most beautilful Alpine towns in Europe with an Alt Stadt (Old City) that will knock your socks off!

If you think I'm just blowing hot air into a balloon, you're quite mistaken. I own a car rental company for North Americans touring Europe. If I mislead my customers, then I lose their faith

The pool was fun and even the hot sauna. They served us free ice creams because it was summer festival on 21st June. The services are great and the breakfast was also good as there were lots of options to choose(buffet)

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows

The decor in the room is with a Bavarian dining table, the size of room is enough for a couple and a dog

The hotel is well staffed by professionals who make your stay comfortable. There is on site parking (at cost) and many food and leisure options are available nearby so you don’t need to drive elsewhere.

Rooms were comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was delicious. One small improvement could be to add an EV charging point in the hotel parking

Decent price to performance ratio for hotels in the area. Sauna and pool area are very nice and enjoyable. Rooms were remarkably average, but had a nice view out the window

Breakfast was average, definitely not the greatest spread when compared to breakfast at other hotels in Germany. Only about a 7 minute walk to the Christmas market, so location isn’t bad at all

Great Hotel, very clean and comfortable. Spa and pools are amazing with view of Zugspitze. Buffet for food at night for 32 euros was really good and tasty. Don't listen to the moaners previous reviews

There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad

His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho

Situation is perfect, hotel has parking place in front of hotel and also garrage. Breakfast is perfect, room has space, bed is excellent and you also have own terrace. For children there is kids corner

On the other hand, however, the spa, swimming pool and sauna facilities give an outdated impression and didn't amaze us at any moment

The hotel itself like a ski lodge style with open common room for breakfast and a lovely dinner area with small bar in the lobby, The food was as good as it gets. Breakfast and Dinner were wonderful

House keeping even comes while you are at breakfast. Central location and walking distance to trails. No air conditioning is only downside but expected, be warned if it is a hot time outside during your trip though

We were immediately greeted with champagne and hot towels for our face from staff and they were always absolutely fabulous

We had originally booked for this added extra. It is advertised as a natural pool but when we got there it was like a brown swamp with bugs in. It did not look anything like the photos on the website

There is free parking, but it is very limited, but the parking tower is close by and only 5 euros a day. They also gave us great advice on the town and we were very helpful

This is a beautiful spot!! The wellness area is fantastic (although this was my first stay at a hotel with a wellness spa) but the gf I went with has been to several and I basically had to drag her out so we could go for supper! Would go back in a heartbeat!

We spent five nights here as part of a family holiday. We have two young children aged two and five and the staff was always very patient and accommodating with us, which was great and make our stay very pleasurable

There is a Breakfast buffet, the nothing is missing (it gubt really EVERYTHING) including late Breakfast from 10:30-12:00, Vespers with salads, soups and hot dishes, from 13:00-16:00 and coffee with cakes, waffles, ice cream sit-to-stand, etc

A very nice hotel with amazing views. Very unique in that the main method of reaching the building was either by cable car or hiking. The hiking path is excellent as it passes through the Partnach Gorge

We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. The staff is amazing, rooms are well decorated and very comfortable

The rooms have excellent beds and bathrooms with spa robes and slippers and those cool windows that open from every angle. Front desk and waitstaff are courteous and generous with excellent English

Breakfast is bountiful, perfect muesli, good coffee, good breads. It’s convenient to the ski slopes and walking trails and in between both town centers which are just a few blocks away

We signed on for half board (dinner) and enjoyed delicious regional fare and traditional service. Kids take books and playing cards to while away the four courses that comprise dinner

Prima is in a quiet location at the Partnach - all of which are essential in Garmisch can be reached in a few minutes. Very friendly owners, the also give great tips and also to the train station, if it must go fast

The extra fee for a room with a balcony and view of the mountains was very worth it (an absolute must). While the room decor is dated, the room was very clean

The hotel is in the centre part of Garmisch Partenkirchen. The rooms are typically german styled, we stayed at the top level, which was very hot on a summer night

Main: Perch (zander) also perfectly spiced and cooked, served with beautifully seasoned salted potatoes and spinach. Delicious and a nice Espresso to finish

That was a mistake, I was charged a 3% conversion fee by the hotel billing system, but if I had gone with Euro and had my credit card do the conversion, there would have been no fee

A very cozy hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We stayed for a couple of days and the hotel was right near the city center and you have the greatest mountain view from there

One thing I would say is that when I accepted the final credit card bill, I was asked if I wanted to pay in Euro or U. $ since that's what my credit card is billed
