If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

We we're welcomed warmly with a beverage of our choice while we filled out the check in paper work. The massage experience was very nice and reasonably priced. The spa/pool area was well kept and enjoyable

Room was clean and well kept, with plenty of towels and controllable radiators. Great experience and would definitely stay again

The hotel is well located, and many excursions can be started from there. This is evident from the stains on the carpet and upholstery. There is a large TV, but it is not usable at all due to poor reception

The location is a little far from the station, but it is within walking distance. The facilities are a little old, but the environment and sanitation are still OK. You can see the mountain when you open the window

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows

The breakfast is also quite good, but there were many people staying on the day I went, and you had to queue up to get coffee. The overall cost performance is still very high, worth recommending!

There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad

His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho

Friendliest and most accommodating hotel staff I have experienced in a long time. Almost cancelled plans to stay longer. Very relaxing experience and hotel is not in your face with over the top needless "COVID" protocols

Our group of 31 robust Americans from Michigan and Indiana were treated to scrumptious dinners and breakfast buffet including all Germany is famous for and a bit more

We were immediately greeted with champagne and hot towels for our face from staff and they were always absolutely fabulous

The room was quite old fashioned but we had a great balconey view of the Zugspitze and the bathroom was modern. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My one disappointment was the outdoor swimming pool

The room was very spacious, bathroom too, especially appreciated heated floors in the bathroom in winter, huge plus! The views from the room are incredible. We stayed there over Christmas time and it was magical

My meal was a superb blend of seasoning and flavors that complimented each other (I had Pork roasted over a beech wood fire, sliced roasted potatatoes, and fresh white asparagus) and it was perfect

A very nice hotel with amazing views. Very unique in that the main method of reaching the building was either by cable car or hiking. The hiking path is excellent as it passes through the Partnach Gorge

We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. The staff is amazing, rooms are well decorated and very comfortable

The only thing that bothered me was that rooms have no ac and it’s quite a walk from the Bahnhof. Rest the service was great, view was breathtaking. Overall great experience. Would definitely visit again soon.

Quite an aged resort but we loved it! The room was large, a door leading to the a little paved outside area with views of the Olympic ski jump, best buffet breakfast, helpful staff - we had a couple of maintenance issues with our room when we arrived but they fixed them quickly so was no problem :)

The hotel itself is about five minutes walk from town, through a lovely park, on a very quiet road. It has free wifi for guests, and a lovely garden in which to enjoy your breakfast or a late night drink

Breathtaking view accompanied with amazing staff and peacefulness.

But, When booking this hotel we were looking looking at all the beautiful rooms listed on the website and were very excited to stay in a room with such a beautiful view, and assumed we would get one of the rooms listed

We feel like the website was misleading and you would need to be careful when booking and make sure you get the room you want. Overall The only problem we had was we were expecting to have a different room

We were so looking forward to having a balcony to enjoy the views the hotel boasted of, but we were unable to see the view unless we pulled up a chair to see out the skylight

Wonderful hotel within walking distance from the train station. The beautiful building is full of Bayerisch charm, nice views from the room. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, there is even a small indoor swimming pool

After not traveling for 2020 because of Covid, I came back to the Riessersee Hotel in 2021 and was, quite frankly, astounded how a new management company had transformed the hotel and See Restaurant into an overwhelmingly competent resort

But a few years after coming from the USA, and after Marriott dropped out, we began to notice to notice a dramatic decline in management and overall quality. Staff changed on an almost daily basis, things did not work

Everything has been brought up to five star quality: staff, rooms, dining, cleanliness, and on and on. I simply could not believe how they had brought virtually every element in a resort to amazing perfection

I almost forget the fact that the town of Mittenwald is 25 minutes from The Riessersee. It is one of the most beautilful Alpine towns in Europe with an Alt Stadt (Old City) that will knock your socks off!

If you think I'm just blowing hot air into a balloon, you're quite mistaken. I own a car rental company for North Americans touring Europe. If I mislead my customers, then I lose their faith

2022 bring The Passion Spiel to Oberammergau, just 30 minutes away, Linderhoff Palace and Ettal are even closer. The jewel of Germany, Schloss Neuschwanstein is about 45-60 minutes away

Very close to Garmisch „downtown“. We were lucky and had a very big room. Some others rooms are significant smaller. Breakfast was very good. Sauna and pool a big old fashioned. Would come definitely again.

Great location, 2 minutes to the main *****. Restaurants are nearby. AC in the room. Minibar is included in the stay (beer, pop, juice, water). Wellness area is quiet and large, typical of this type of hotel.

Every staff member was so generous and attentive, and specifically, we had excellent experiences with Maria Teresa (restaurant) and David and Joel (bartenders)

When we arrive at 12:00 , they offer us free many delicious plenty breakfast that I have never had the wonderful experience like this before from other hotel

Breakfast is bountiful, perfect muesli, good coffee, good breads. It’s convenient to the ski slopes and walking trails and in between both town centers which are just a few blocks away

You don’t necessarily need a car plus public transit is excellent. This hotel sells out during the holidays. If you have flexibility, you might visit at shoulder or non peak times to maximize your value

The spa area is very expensive including two saunas, a steam room and a ice rub down station along with multiple different types of rain and heated showers and infrareds on as well

The rooms have excellent beds and bathrooms with spa robes and slippers and those cool windows that open from every angle. Front desk and waitstaff are courteous and generous with excellent English

That was a mistake, I was charged a 3% conversion fee by the hotel billing system, but if I had gone with Euro and had my credit card do the conversion, there would have been no fee

A very cozy hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We stayed for a couple of days and the hotel was right near the city center and you have the greatest mountain view from there

One thing I would say is that when I accepted the final credit card bill, I was asked if I wanted to pay in Euro or U. $ since that's what my credit card is billed

Spa experience in the Alps.After a day outside at the Zugspite to come back to a pool, saunas, and lots of amenities is so relaxing.The perfect recharge before going to dinner .

My husband thought it was great though haha Breakfast was great but one of the serving staff kept getting orders mixed. Lovely guy on reception very friendly. Underground car park available bit very steep and quite small

I have to say though the most bizarre thing is the window from the bedroom looking directly at the shower! Not everyone goes away with their partner so not sure how you would shower privately otherwise
