The food was great, the staff really friendly and efficient, room was a good size, clean and comfortable, the pool and sauna really good.

We were there to eat. The food was very good, the service very friendly and attentive. It was great that you could easily change the order of individual dishes on the menu.

The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating, the hotel is clean and has a good mix of tradition and modern elements. The meal was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Good traditional German cuisine.

This hotel is great. The rooms are not state of the art, but that’s how it goes for a place that dates back to 1542. The history and views are spectacular. My only issue was that there was no A/C or fan in the room and it was pretty hot at times but that was in August. Would def return.

We were immediately greeted with champagne and hot towels for our face from staff and they were always absolutely fabulous. There is free parking, but it is very limited, but the parking tower is close by and only 5 euros a day. They also gave us great advice on the town and we were very helpful. The view was absolutely amazing, and it was right in the center of town in walking distance from many restraunts...

Friendly staff, they offered welcome drinks upon arrival. After spending the whole day outside, the staff offered us to use the Sauna for relaxation.

There is a cafe in the hotel and the guy working there today was so so nice to me and my brother. Thank you for the delicious cappuccino, hot chocolate and apple cake! We will remember this as a good memory :)

The staff is very nice and professional. The swimming pool is nice. Gym is nice. Breakfast is not bad as well. The rooms are out dated and not what you would come to expect from a Mercure Hotel. The dinner menu is not very kid friendly. It's a bit on the more expensive side. I would recommend because of the staff, but curb your expectations.

We have booked for 2 nights, the experience was really great at Mercure, we got enough for what we have paid. It was very hot in Garmisch and the hotel management provided us fan at night so that we can sleep comfortably. The pool was fun and even the hot sauna. It was a revitalizing Spa get away with activity possibilities in and outdoors. My wife and I travel a lot. We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. The staff is amazing, rooms are well decorated and very comfortable. The restaurant serves high quality food and their wine cellar is full of surprises. Well done.

Perfect place to have relaxing holiday. Excellent service, facilities, restaurant and everything else as well. A real hidden gem in the mountains. Worth every penny you spend there.

Easily one of the most memorable and magical experiences in my life. I cannot recommend this place enough and I tell everyone about it. Great location above the partnach gorge, with warm and class Service, thanks to 30 rooms on a very personal Level. Beautiful room - but beware open-bath - Breakfast and dinner leave nothing to be desired. Spa area could be at full capacity a bit as far as the rest are in the rain.

Great place and good food.

Beautiful hotel that we would of loved to have had more time staying in. They had a delicious afternoon buffet with free food in the bar. Nice spa on site. You can purchase tickets to many things on site as well. We bought our zugspitze tickets there and were able to skip all the lines at the base. We would definitely stay here again. It is several blocks from downtown, but not a bad walk.

Luxurious hotel. Sleep comfortably. Mountain View. Sauna and swimming pool are included in the price. Everyone in the sauna must be undressed. Robes and slippers in the room. Super breakfast. Cozy lobby with fireplace.

It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during a very snowy January trip we made to Europe for a friends wedding. It was my husband's first trip to Europe and it was a joy to watch him look all around him and see the mountains. We enjoyed walking around the city taking in the sites and warming ourselves in the many shops and taking in the beautiful quaintness of this globally known town.

Comfortable, conveniently located hotel in the heart of Garmisch. The rooms are nice (many double rooms used to be singles and are now combined), but the bathrooms are extremely tiny and dated. The breakfast buffet is sufficient with limited variety, and parking is available right outside the hotel. Just spent one night night at this wonderful hotel. After a long flight from Denver, Colorado to Munich Airport, it was a pleasure to spend that one night at this hotel. This hotel is located very close to the town and we enjoyed our evening walk in beautiful Garmisch. The hotel staff (Husband and Wife), plus his mother, were very accommodating and very helpful. Well located in town and only minutes away from many great restaurant options. Our room had a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains! The only downside is that the rooms themselves are a bit small.

Family driven hotel and with such atmosphere. Excelent location, free parking, very clean. The room we had was simple furnished but you can not complain, everything you need was there. You may see that its best years are gone but still a good place to stay.

Returned recently from this hotel. Spent there 3 nights. Everything was just as promised and even more! The owners were very friendly and helpful giving good hints of places to see. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean. The pool with sauna was nice! Central location makes travelling fun and easy! Free parking on lacation!

The hotel is nice and the staff were kind enough to help us book a room without prior reservation. Breakfast was good too. The unit does not have AC but the weather at night gets cold.

Great Hotel, very clean and comfortable. Beds are comfy. Spa and pools are amazing with view of Zugspitze. Buffet for food at night for 32 euros was really good and tasty. Don't listen to the moaners previous reviews. Just book it.

Amazing atmosphere with sauna and spa wellness area makes for a perfect skiing trip. Be sure to take your slippers. There is a warm drying room for your skiing boots and skiis.
