The hotel is well located, and many excursions can be started from there. The hotel is a bit older. This is evident from the stains on the carpet and upholstery. There is a large TV, but it is not usable at all due to poor reception. Overall, it is a well-kept older hotel, good as a base, but not really for a staycation.

The location is a little far from the station, but it is within walking distance. The facilities are a little old, but the environment and sanitation are still OK. You can see the mountain when you open the window. The breakfast is also quite good, but there were many people staying on the day I went, and you had to queue up to get coffee. The overall cost performance is still very high, worth recommending

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows. The decor in the room is with a Bavarian dining table, the size of room is enough for a couple and a dog. The staff were friendly.

Beautiful environment and complete facilities

The hotel is well staffed by professionals who make your stay comfortable. There is on site parking (at cost) and many food and leisure options are available nearby so you don’t need to drive elsewhere.

Nice hotel, but there is a problem. If you have a lot of bags, it is tiring. There are many ups and downs. I mean, it is tiring.

The only thing that bothered me was that rooms have no ac and it’s quite a walk from the Bahnhof. Rest the service was great, view was breathtaking. Overall great experience. Would definitely visit again soon.

The Hotel was in overall very good. We just had paid extra 6 euro at the end, which wasn't mentioned on online booking.

Long ago this location was a flour mill, now a luxury hotel and spa in Garmisch. Rooms were clean, bed firm. They have a small gym, and many spa services. The bar has a decent selection of spirits, wine and beer. There is a lovely walking path along the river.

Amazing hotel - it has everything one might need, location is beautiful, service is excellent, food is great at breakfast, lunch and especially dinner, spa offers sauna and inside/outside pools. We will definitely come again.

I had a great stay at this hotel, and the best part was that the room had proper air conditioning – a rare and much-appreciated feature in this region. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. I opted for the half-board option: the breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of options, while the lunch buffet was average in comparison. It was a revitalizing Spa get away with activity possibilities in and outdoors. It offered great full board gourmet gastronomy, within outstanding hygienic conditions , nice rooms with terrace and great mountains view but among all, great service from all the staff in the hotel from the driver, throughout the sauna Rezeption, restaurant. Everyone is very well informed, and helpful.

The hotel is very nice and convenient

Everything was great. A small point to note is that there is no air conditioning for the room during winter season, hence you’ll have to leave the windows open as it gets a little stuffy overtime.

This hotel has great amenities for family vacation, the restaurant and bar atmosphere are great, but the small rooms are the problem, nobody likes tinny rooms, no AC just heating, no safe, no place for the bags, no amenities kit for the bathroom. Another problem is the front desk team, many of them barely speak English and sometimes have to work as receptionist and sales person for the Nivea store...

Decent price to performance ratio for hotels in the area. Sauna and pool area are very nice and enjoyable. Rooms were remarkably average, but had a nice view out the window. Breakfast was average, definitely not the greatest spread when compared to breakfast at other hotels in Germany. Only about a 7 minute walk to the Christmas market, so location isn’t bad at all. I can recommend it if other options...

Great location, amazing staff and management. The front desk team / management were terrific I guiding us for our daily excursion. The breakfast was great. I have stayed in countless hotels and this one just became my #1 hotel! The views are fantastic, staff is so helpful. We loved it! We even extended our stay! Cant wait to go back! The view was amazing. Breakfast offerings were great! Loved the drink machines and having an afternoon coffee with other guests. Some guests played board games over coffee.

I love this place. The service was awesome! Reception worked when we arrived at 23:00. Rooms has great soundproof. It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

The Best hotel of our trip! Staff were excellent and so helpful at all times. Great location. Nice room with extra space and a balcony. Coffee maker in the room which was nonexistent in Austria! Excellent breakfast and get snacks in afternoon. Public transport is easy to use. You get a guest pass for free public transport if you stay a couple days.

Amazing front of house staff that will go above and beyond to help you. Rooms beautifully clean and well appointed. We really loved our stay at Hotel Zugspitze in April! The entire place has such a warm, cosy vibe that made us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. We loved our stay here. The staff was so helpful and the restaurant on the property was excellent. We ate there both nights and for breakfast during our stay. It was easy to walk to the square which had dining shopping and even a little entertainment. Highly recommend. Comfy room and beds!

Lovely hotel with lovely staff We stayed for a ski holiday and really loved the hotel. The staff were lovely, they had a shuttle which ran to the slopes every morning and afternoon and made it really easy to get around. They were super accommodating and helpful, had everything we needed for our stay. Food was great, robes and spa are great and views are gorgeous. A real gem!!

The hotel is secluded, accessible by car from the cable car parking lot. Please drive slowly and be mindful of hikers; most hikers will yield. The rooms offer a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, creating a beautiful scenery. The sauna area is well-equipped.

The hotel has an indoor pool, dry sauna, and daily breakfast. The staff were wonderful. The location is also great, near the center of town. The downsides are as follows: the basic rooms are very small and the queen beds are actually two twin beds side-by-side, a small shower that would not accomodate anyone larger in size and the entire bathroom is tiny also, and most importantly for some people...

Fantastic location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had a short walk into Garmisch each evening for dinner and/or drinks and as we drove it was centrally located to sites we wanted to see. The swimming pool was also welcomed with temperatures in the 30 Celsius range during our stay. Would definitely return.

Family driven hotel and with such atmosphere. Excelent location, free parking, very clean. The room we had was simple furnished but you can not complain, everything you need was there. You may see that its best years are gone but still a good place to stay.

Nice hotel that catered to family members in all age brackets in a convenient location outside the beautiful Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Brilliant sauna and relaxation area and a good bar at night were personal highlights.
