It was a revitalizing Spa get away with activity possibilities in and outdoors. It offered great full board gourmet gastronomy, within outstanding hygienic conditions , nice rooms with terrace and great mountains view but among all, great service from all the staff in the hotel from the driver, throughout the sauna Rezeption, restaurant. Everyone is very well informed, and helpful.

If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows. The decor in the room is with a Bavarian dining table, the size of room is enough for a couple and a dog. The staff were friendly.

The hotel is well staffed by professionals who make your stay comfortable. There is on site parking (at cost) and many food and leisure options are available nearby so you don’t need to drive elsewhere.

Great location, nice rooms, and everything was very clean. The sauna and pooI were very clean and well maintained. I purchased the half board package, but neither the front desk or the restaurant workers knew exactly what was included. Could I order off the menu or only have the buffet? Was a drink included with my meals, or was that extra? Nobody knew for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay! The hotel is perfectly located to easily walk to Garmisch and Partenkirchen centres. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was delicious. One small improvement could be to add an EV charging point in the hotel parking.

The staff is very nice and professional. The swimming pool is nice. Gym is nice. Breakfast is not bad as well. The rooms are out dated and not what you would come to expect from a Mercure Hotel. The dinner menu is not very kid friendly. It's a bit on the more expensive side. I would recommend because of the staff, but curb your expectations.

Decent price to performance ratio for hotels in the area. Sauna and pool area are very nice and enjoyable. Rooms were remarkably average, but had a nice view out the window. Breakfast was average, definitely not the greatest spread when compared to breakfast at other hotels in Germany. Only about a 7 minute walk to the Christmas market, so location isn’t bad at all. I can recommend it if other options...

Great wellness hotel! Guests can enjoy the pool and sauna for free. Nice restaurant with good food, plus free afternoon treats for everyone. Rooms come with breakfast included. The staff were fantastic. I loved my stay and will definitely come back next time I visit Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The main reason I docked stars is the exhibitionist shower. Pros: Beautiful common areas, polite staff, *great* breakfast buffet, a bar, well-designed room doors that block enough sound, good window views, a little sitting area in the rooms, walkable location convenient to groceries and shopping. Honestly expected more from the photos and descriptions of hotel. Rooms were nice but nothing amazing. Suana and wellness area is good but often very busy. Great location to walk to town. Staff seemed always busy and overwhelmed.

The hotel is nice and the staff were kind enough to help us book a room without prior reservation. Breakfast was good too. The unit does not have AC but the weather at night gets cold.

It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

This is a beautiful spot!! The wellness area is fantastic (although this was my first stay at a hotel with a wellness spa) but the gf I went with has been to several and I basically had to drag her out so we could go for supper! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful hotel that we would of loved to have had more time staying in. They had a delicious afternoon buffet with free food in the bar. Nice spa on site. You can purchase tickets to many things on site as well. We bought our zugspitze tickets there and were able to skip all the lines at the base. We would definitely stay here again. It is several blocks from downtown, but not a bad walk.

Luxurious hotel. Sleep comfortably. Mountain View. Sauna and swimming pool are included in the price. Everyone in the sauna must be undressed. Robes and slippers in the room. Super breakfast. Cozy lobby with fireplace.

Great hotel. We arrived with no reservation and luckily they had one room. It turned out to be the hay loft which is the third floor in the barn. It was very comfortable quiet and had beautiful views.

My wife and I travel a lot. We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. The staff is amazing, rooms are well decorated and very comfortable. The restaurant serves high quality food and their wine cellar is full of surprises. Well done.

Wow. Just wow. American hotels cut corners to save money. This hotel paid attention to all the details and knocked them out of the park! We would have stayed longer but they were booked. Save yourself any further decision making and stay at this wonderful place. The room was clean. The spa was amazing. They even have a pillow menu. And the breakfast! Let me tell you that the breakfast was my favorite...

In terms of value for money, I think this is one of the best hotels in the area. For a very reasonable price, the rooms are comfortable and have balconies with lovely views. Additionally, the hotel is walking distance to downtown and hiking trails. It also includes a lovely breakfast and access to complementary coffee/drinks throughout the day. Really lovely place to stay.

We found this hotel by accident and very glad that we did. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had fantastic mountain views. The hotel had a wonderful restaurant, a pool, spa, fitness center, and a bier garten where guests could just hang out and relax. The breakfast buffet is sufficient with limited variety, and parking is available right outside the hotel. Just spent one night night at this wonderful hotel. After a long flight from Denver, Colorado to Munich Airport, it was a pleasure to spend that one night at this hotel. This hotel is located very close to the town and we enjoyed our evening walk in beautiful Garmisch. The hotel staff (Husband and Wife), plus his mother, were very accommodating and very helpful. Well located in town and only minutes away from many great restaurant options. Our room had a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains! The only downside is that the rooms themselves are a bit small.

Family driven hotel and with such atmosphere. Excelent location, free parking, very clean. The room we had was simple furnished but you can not complain, everything you need was there. You may see that its best years are gone but still a good place to stay.

Returned recently from this hotel. Spent there 3 nights. Everything was just as promised and even more! The owners were very friendly and helpful giving good hints of places to see. Nice hotel that catered to family members in all age brackets in a convenient location outside the beautiful Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Brilliant sauna and relaxation area and a good bar at night were personal highlights.
