It was a revitalizing Spa get away with activity possibilities in and outdoors. It offered great full board gourmet gastronomy, within outstanding hygienic conditions , nice rooms with terrace and great mountains view but among all, great service from all the staff in the hotel from the driver, throughout the sauna Rezeption, restaurant. Everyone is very well informed, and helpful.

If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

The buildings and accompanying facilities including the swimming pool were nice. It was too bad that hospitality and smile much differ according to the staff. A lady in a special local costume at the restaurant, who was supposed to be a kind of instructor, and some staffs at the counter need to be instructed. The hotel is well located, and many excursions can be started from there. The hotel is a bit older. This is evident from the stains on the carpet and upholstery. There is a large TV, but it is not usable at all due to poor reception. Overall, it is a well-kept older hotel, good as a base, but not really for a staycation.

The location is a little far from the station, but it is within walking distance. The facilities are a little old, but the environment and sanitation are still OK. You can see the mountain when you open the window. The breakfast is also quite good, but there were many people staying on the day I went, and you had to queue up to get coffee. The overall cost performance is still very high, worth recommending

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows. The decor in the room is with a Bavarian dining table, the size of room is enough for a couple and a dog. The staff were friendly.

Beautiful environment and complete facilities

The hotel is well staffed by professionals who make your stay comfortable. There is on site parking (at cost) and many food and leisure options are available nearby so you don’t need to drive elsewhere.

The hotel is very nice and convenient

Everything was great. A small point to note is that there is no air conditioning for the room during winter season, hence you’ll have to leave the windows open as it gets a little stuffy overtime.

This hotel has great amenities for family vacation, the restaurant and bar atmosphere are great, but the small rooms are the problem, nobody likes tinny rooms, no AC just heating, no safe, no place for the bags, no amenities kit for the bathroom. Another problem is the front desk team, many of them barely speak English and sometimes have to work as receptionist and sales person for the Nivea store...

Decent price to performance ratio for hotels in the area. Sauna and pool area are very nice and enjoyable. Rooms were remarkably average, but had a nice view out the window. Breakfast was average, definitely not the greatest spread when compared to breakfast at other hotels in Germany. Only about a 7 minute walk to the Christmas market, so location isn’t bad at all. I can recommend it if other options...

It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

OK... Normally I am very picky about my hotels and the quality of services within. I have to say my stay at the Hotel Zugspitze was extraordinary. I stayed in a Junior Suite and it was clean, neat, well organized, had a small kitchenette with dining, a sofa... and out of this world views of the mountains. Daily service was excellent. What an awesome place to stay for a ski trip. We had two comfort rooms and our dog Greta. Its really close to a bus stop that takes you to the Garmisch Classic area. The food was outstanding we had breakfast and the half board. The rooms were phenomenal! Unreal coffee machines in the room!!! The prices are excellent too. I loved it, but more importantly my wife loved it. Perfect for skiing....

All people who work there are incredible! Felt very welcome since the moment I stepped my foot at the reception all the way till we checked out (which I was sad to do, as we loved our stay!). This hotel was so lovely, I am already wishing we could go back! We spent 2 beautiful days here when we were only supposed to stay for one. We were able to snag our room for an extra night. One of the most lovely hotels I’ve stayed at. The room/terrace was stunning. Perfect central location for hiking and then relaxing after. Beautiful hotel that we would of loved to have had more time staying in. They had a delicious afternoon buffet with free food in the bar. Nice spa on site. You can purchase tickets to many things on site as well. We bought our zugspitze tickets there and were able to skip all the lines at the base. We would definitely stay here again. It is several blocks from downtown, but not a bad walk.

My wife and I travel a lot. We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. The staff is amazing, rooms are well decorated and very comfortable. The restaurant serves high quality food and their wine cellar is full of surprises. Well done.

Great location above the partnach gorge, with warm and class Service, thanks to 30 rooms on a very personal Level. Beautiful room - but beware open-bath - Breakfast and dinner leave nothing to be desired. Spa area could be at full capacity a bit as far as the rest are in the rain.

I have stayed in countless hotels and this one just became my #1 hotel! The views are fantastic, staff is so helpful. We loved it! We even extended our stay! Cant wait to go back! The view was amazing. Breakfast offerings were great! Loved the drink machines and having an afternoon coffee with other guests. Some guests played board games over coffee.

Wow. Just wow. American hotels cut corners to save money. This hotel paid attention to all the details and knocked them out of the park! We would have stayed longer but they were booked. Nice hotel that catered to family members in all age brackets in a convenient location outside the beautiful Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Brilliant sauna and relaxation area and a good bar at night were personal highlights.
