It was a revitalizing Spa get away with activity possibilities in and outdoors. It offered great full board gourmet gastronomy, within outstanding hygienic conditions , nice rooms with terrace and great mountains view but among all, great service from all the staff in the hotel from the driver, throughout the sauna Rezeption, restaurant. Everyone is very well informed, and helpful.

If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

The hotel is well located, and many excursions can be started from there. The hotel is a bit older. This is evident from the stains on the carpet and upholstery. There is a large TV, but it is not usable at all due to poor reception. Overall, it is a well-kept older hotel, good as a base, but not really for a staycation.

The location is a little far from the station, but it is within walking distance. The facilities are a little old, but the environment and sanitation are still OK. You can see the mountain when you open the window. The breakfast is also quite good, but there were many people staying on the day I went, and you had to queue up to get coffee. The overall cost performance is still very high, worth recommending

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows. The decor in the room is with a Bavarian dining table, the size of room is enough for a couple and a dog. The staff were friendly.

Beautiful environment and complete facilities

The hotel is well staffed by professionals who make your stay comfortable. There is on site parking (at cost) and many food and leisure options are available nearby so you don’t need to drive elsewhere.

It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

This hotel is great. The rooms are not state of the art, but that’s how it goes for a place that dates back to 1542. The history and views are spectacular. My only issue was that there was no A/C or fan in the room and it was pretty hot at times but that was in August. Would def return.

What an awesome place to stay for a ski trip. We had two comfort rooms and our dog Greta. Its really close to a bus stop that takes you to the Garmisch Classic area. The food was outstanding we had breakfast and the half board. The rooms were phenomenal! Unreal coffee machines in the room!!! The prices are excellent too. Beautiful hotel that we would of loved to have had more time staying in. They had a delicious afternoon buffet with free food in the bar. Nice spa on site. You can purchase tickets to many things on site as well. We bought our zugspitze tickets there and were able to skip all the lines at the base. We would definitely stay here again. It is several blocks from downtown, but not a bad walk.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent with a wide choice of cereals, rolls, cheeses, meats and other things. Our superior room was enormouse, comfortable and had a balcony with table and 2 chairs and side views of the mountains. Everything is spotlessly clean. Attractive garden to relax in. This hotel is pretty neat, clean, friendly customer service and seems to be a family owned and operated. The rooms that we got was at the highest floor (3rd floor) with nice different views on each room. They give free breakfast in the mornings and it's quite good too. This place is phenomenal. Welcoming, beautiful, great service, and the best breakfast spread I’ve ever encountered. Stayed here with 2 adults and 2 well-behaved kids. As they say, kids are welcome but the overall vibe is peaceful and quiet, so not a great fit for wild kids.
