Just spent one night night at this wonderful hotel. After a long flight from Denver, Colorado to Munich Airport, it was a pleasure to spend that one night at this hotel. This hotel is located very close to the town and we enjoyed our evening walk in beautiful Garmisch. The hotel staff (Husband and Wife), plus his mother, were very accommodating and very helpful. Well located in town and only minutes away from many great restaurant options. Our room had a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains! The only downside is that the rooms themselves are a bit small.

What a great little hotel! Beautiful views, well appointed room. Very spacious, especially for European hotels. Memory foam mattress. Parking lot large enough to park a large SUV. We had a family room with a king bed and 2 twins with plenty of space to move around and stow our luggage.

Family driven hotel and with such atmosphere. Excelent location, free parking, very clean. The room we had was simple furnished but you can not complain, everything you need was there. You may see that its best years are gone but still a good place to stay.

Returned recently from this hotel. Spent there 3 nights. Everything was just as promised and even more! The owners were very friendly and helpful giving good hints of places to see. A very cozy hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We stayed for a couple of days and the hotel was right near the city center and you have the greatest mountain view from there. Staff was extremely friendly, room cozy and clean, breakfast was great with lovely service. We had an absolute great stay!

Very nice and elegant villa (Prince has a good taste :)). Some of the furniture in the room is quite old and out of style (I am guessing 60's or 70's), but that was minor compared to all the other comforts. For breakfast - quality food and it was tasty.

The hotel is in the centre part of Garmisch Partenkirchen. The rooms are typically german styled, we stayed at the top level, which was very hot on a summer night. They serve a very nice breakfast and the staff is very friendly.

In general it's a very decent hotel. Perfect location, well-fitted room, good breakfast, no issues with cleaning. Staff is mostly welcoming and helpful. However, there are several people working at the restaurant that are irritated all the time and, despite they help you with your needs, their mimics and body language do not make you happy and don't encourage to come back to them again.

It was a nice place to stay with a pizza hut and sports bar across the parking lot. It also was next to the exchange gas station, very convenient for travelers.

It's a three star hotel @ the price of a student hostel in Munich! Great value for money. And they have bathtubs.

Cheap and cheerful place in the heart of Partenkirchen. The bed was a bit hard and when they say single bed, they mean it. But the staff were only too happy to turn on the sauna whenever we asked. Only had breakfast the once and it was the usual continental fare as there are plenty of places around to grab food.

A stunning building located on historic Ludwigstraße - quaint, simple rooms in classic Tyrolean style. I'm not sure you can be situated poorly anywhere in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, however, the location of Gasthof Fraundorfer felt just right to us (just far enough outside of the town centre to feel that little more peaceful).

I only visited for dinner (would have loved to stay here though) and it was a wonderful experience and felt very authentically Bavarian. The decor is rustic and beautiful, the live Bavarian music was fun and the slap dancing was cool to see. I stay here every chance I get when in Garmisch. Friendly staff, traditional Bavarian food and evening entertainment while you dine. Highly recommend as a great stop for a Bavarian experience for friends and family when touring Germany.
