Where to stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

It was a revitalizing Spa get away with activity possibilities in and outdoors. It offered great full board gourmet gastronomy, within outstanding hygienic conditions , nice rooms with terrace and great mountains view but among all, great service from all the staff in the hotel from the driver, throughout the sauna Rezeption, restaurant. Everyone is very well informed, and helpful.

If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

Best breakfast i've had so far in a hotel (there are a lot of options to chose from regarding the food). Friendly staff as far as I could tell. There's free parking. The view is also nice, the hotel being located on a hillside facing Garmisch city. It's not far from the ski slopes but it's only accessible by car.

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows. The decor in the room is with a Bavarian dining table, the size of room is enough for a couple and a dog. The staff were friendly.

The hotel is well staffed by professionals who make your stay comfortable. There is on site parking (at cost) and many food and leisure options are available nearby so you don’t need to drive elsewhere.

Great location, nice rooms, and everything was very clean. The sauna and pooI were very clean and well maintained. I purchased the half board package, but neither the front desk or the restaurant workers knew exactly what was included. Could I order off the menu or only have the buffet? Was a drink included with my meals, or was that extra? Nobody knew for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay! The hotel is perfectly located to easily walk to Garmisch and Partenkirchen centres. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was delicious. One small improvement could be to add an EV charging point in the hotel parking.

The staff is very nice and professional. The swimming pool is nice. Gym is nice. Breakfast is not bad as well. The rooms are out dated and not what you would come to expect from a Mercure Hotel. The dinner menu is not very kid friendly. It's a bit on the more expensive side. I would recommend because of the staff, but curb your expectations.

Decent price to performance ratio for hotels in the area. Sauna and pool area are very nice and enjoyable. Rooms were remarkably average, but had a nice view out the window. The main reason I docked stars is the exhibitionist shower. The hotel is nice and the staff were kind enough to help us book a room without prior reservation. Breakfast was good too. The unit does not have AC but the weather at night gets cold.

It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

Very nice place. Within a very short walk to the pedestrian zone (lots of shops and places to eat or drink), Bahnhof, and Zugspitze Bahnhof. Everyone is super nice, friendly, and helpful. English is spoken here by everyone we came across, even though I tried my best with Deutschsprache. This hotel is great. The rooms are not state of the art, but that’s how it goes for a place that dates back to 1542. The history and views are spectacular. My only issue was that there was no A/C or fan in the room and it was pretty hot at times but that was in August. Would def return.

This is a beautiful spot!! The wellness area is fantastic (although this was my first stay at a hotel with a wellness spa) but the gf I went with has been to several and I basically had to drag her out so we could go for supper! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful hotel that we would of loved to have had more time staying in. They had a delicious afternoon buffet with free food in the bar. Nice spa on site. You can purchase tickets to many things on site as well. We bought our zugspitze tickets there and were able to skip all the lines at the base. We would definitely stay here again. It is several blocks from downtown, but not a bad walk.

My wife and I travel a lot. We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. In terms of value for money, I think this is one of the best hotels in the area. For a very reasonable price, the rooms are comfortable and have balconies with lovely views. The Location is perfect for Garmish, the Hotel style is supposed to be antique, and it is. Their Bathrooms are modern tho. I'd be careful booking in the summer, since it gets a little hot with no A/C, also some noise from the main street during the night if the windows are open

This hotel is pretty neat, clean, friendly customer service and seems to be a family owned and operated. The rooms that we got was at the highest floor (3rd floor) with nice different views on each room. They give free breakfast in the mornings and it's quite good too. As a Bio hotel and restaurant you can always expect it to be little expensive but it was worth it. Cheap and cheerful place in the heart of Partenkirchen. The bed was a bit hard and when they say single bed, they mean it. But the staff were only too happy to turn on the sauna whenever we asked. This hotel is located very close to the town and we enjoyed our evening walk in beautiful Garmisch. The hotel staff (Husband and Wife), plus his mother, were very accommodating and very helpful. The morning breakfast was fantastic

Nice and clean hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Located near many restaurants and most importantly only 5.mins walk to the nearest public bus stop. Recommended 👍🏻

Well located in town and only minutes away from many great restaurant options. Our room had a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains! The only downside is that the rooms themselves are a bit small.
