What a fantastic hotel. The customer service was outstanding, friendly and helpful. The dining experience was exceptional - starting with their breakfast menu and ending with their 3 to 4 course dinner. My husband truly enjoyed his lobster and I enjoyed all the delicious desserts. Good traditional German cuisine.

This hotel is great. The rooms are not state of the art, but that’s how it goes for a place that dates back to 1542. The history and views are spectacular. My only issue was that there was no A/C or fan in the room and it was pretty hot at times but that was in August. Would def return.

We were immediately greeted with champagne and hot towels for our face from staff and they were always absolutely fabulous. There is free parking, but it is very limited, but the parking tower is close by and only 5 euros a day. They also gave us great advice on the town and we were very helpful. Friendly staff, they offered welcome drinks upon arrival. After spending the whole day outside, the staff offered us to use the Sauna for relaxation.

There is a cafe in the hotel and the guy working there today was so so nice to me and my brother. Thank you for the delicious cappuccino, hot chocolate and apple cake! We will remember this as a good memory :)

Garmisch-partenkirchen is a perfect place for every desire to stay away from loud-disco places as Bulgarian locality. I appreciate German People and this country where i worked in this hotel. Very nice place. Within a very short walk to the pedestrian zone (lots of shops and places to eat or drink), Bahnhof, and Zugspitze Bahnhof. Everyone is super nice, friendly, and helpful. English is spoken here by everyone we came across, even though I tried my best with Deutschsprache. The only thing to beware is your room placement...we had a room facing the street and the traffic noise is horrendous...

Very good hotel. Situation is perfect, hotel has parking place in front of hotel and also garrage. Breakfast is perfect, room has space, bed is excellent and you also have own terrace. For children there is kids corner. Hotel has also pool area. This hotel you can relax and enjoy your holiday

Modern rooms in an atmospheric hampton style. Very friendly, courteous staff who go out of their way to make guests feel at home. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre of Garmisch. We would love to come back anytime.

The staff is very nice and professional. The swimming pool is nice. Gym is nice. Breakfast is not bad as well. The rooms are out dated and not what you would come to expect from a Mercure Hotel. My wife and I travel a lot. We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. Perfect place to have relaxing holiday. Excellent service, facilities, restaurant and everything else as well. A real hidden gem in the mountains. Worth every penny you spend there.

Easily one of the most memorable and magical experiences in my life. I cannot recommend this place enough and I tell everyone about it. Great location above the partnach gorge, with warm and class Service, thanks to 30 rooms on a very personal Level. Beautiful room - but beware open-bath - Breakfast and dinner leave nothing to be desired. Spa area could be at full capacity a bit as far as the rest are in the rain.

Great place and good food.

Beautiful hotel that we would of loved to have had more time staying in. They had a delicious afternoon buffet with free food in the bar. Nice spa on site. You can purchase tickets to many things on site as well. We bought our zugspitze tickets there and were able to skip all the lines at the base. We would definitely stay here again. It is several blocks from downtown, but not a bad walk.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent with a wide choice of cereals, rolls, cheeses, meats and other things. Our superior room was enormouse, comfortable and had a balcony with table and 2 chairs and side views of the mountains. Everything is spotlessly clean. Attractive garden to relax in. Ten minutes walk to restaurants and shops.

This hotel is pretty neat, clean, friendly customer service and seems to be a family owned and operated. The rooms that we got was at the highest floor (3rd floor) with nice different views on each room. They give free breakfast in the mornings and it's quite good too. Will come back here again hopefully next time

It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during a very snowy January trip we made to Europe for a friends wedding. It was my husband's first trip to Europe and it was a joy to watch him look all around him and see the mountains. We enjoyed walking around the city taking in the sites and warming ourselves in the many shops and taking in the beautiful quaintness of this globally known town.

We ate 2 very delicious meals here! Both were biological and vegan. Very friendly personel. Very clean tables. Drinks (coffee and hot chocomel) were a bit expensive. The meals were good priced for the quality (also biologic) and large amount.

We ordered in house beer and deer (Venison) meat. The beer fragrance was fresh and taste was well balanced. Food was perfect and nicely prepared. As a Bio hotel and restaurant you can always expect it to be little expensive but it was worth it. Due to Christmas celebration in Hotel, there was some delay in serving the food but otherwise it was nice evening.

What a great little hotel! Beautiful views, well appointed room. Very spacious, especially for European hotels. Memory foam mattress. Parking lot large enough to park a large SUV. We had a family room with a king bed and 2 twins with plenty of space to move around and stow our luggage.

The hotel is well situated next to the river, within walking distance from the center and with good access to walks and runs in the nearby mountains.
