The rooms are not state of the art, but that’s how it goes for a place that dates back to 1542. The history and views are spectacular

There is a cafe in the hotel and the guy working there today was so so nice to me and my brother. Thank you for the delicious cappuccino, hot chocolate and apple cake! We will remember this as a good memory :)

Garmisch-partenkirchen is a perfect place for every desire to stay away from loud-disco places as Bulgarian locality. I appreciate German People and this country where i worked in this hotel

There is free parking, but it is very limited, but the parking tower is close by and only 5 euros a day. They also gave us great advice on the town and we were very helpful

The view was absolutely amazing, and it was right in the center of town in walking distance from many restraunts. We loved it and would definately come back!

English is spoken here by everyone we came across, even though I tried my best with Deutschsprache. The only thing to beware is your room placement. we had a room facing the street and the traffic noise is horrendous

We've heard of Das Graseck-My Mountain Hideway thanks to a Facebook account. This is one of the best place we've ever stayed. The staff is amazing, rooms are well decorated and very comfortable

After not traveling for 2020 because of Covid, I came back to the Riessersee Hotel in 2021 and was, quite frankly, astounded how a new management company had transformed the hotel and See Restaurant into an overwhelmingly competent resort

But a few years after coming from the USA, and after Marriott dropped out, we began to notice to notice a dramatic decline in management and overall quality. Staff changed on an almost daily basis, things did not work

I almost forget the fact that the town of Mittenwald is 25 minutes from The Riessersee. It is one of the most beautilful Alpine towns in Europe with an Alt Stadt (Old City) that will knock your socks off!

The Hilleprandt is a very cozy guesthouse that is a 5 minute walk from anything you need (train station, shopping, and pubs/restaurants). Facility is clean, and very traditional in a German sense

We booked this place last minute as a group of four and took the chalet. I have to say we all found it amazing. The owners were friendly and showed us the apartment facilities on arrival

Since it's aimed at adults and not parents with kids I am not really sure why the door is there. That aside really this is a fantastic place to stay. Wouldn't hesitate to come back again. Congratulations to the owners

As a Bio hotel and restaurant you can always expect it to be little expensive but it was worth it. Due to Christmas celebration in Hotel, there was some delay in serving the food but otherwise it was nice evening

This hotel is located very close to the town and we enjoyed our evening walk in beautiful Garmisch. The hotel staff (Husband and Wife), plus his mother, were very accommodating and very helpful

We feel like the website was misleading and you would need to be careful when booking and make sure you get the room you want. Overall The only problem we had was we were expecting to have a different room

My family and I are from the U. , we had two rooms and were here for three nights. The rooms are clean, pleasant, and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice, even during the pandemic

The hotel is very picturesque and accommodating. Being able to look out of your window or balcony at the surrounding mountains is breathtaking to say the least. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy

That was a mistake, I was charged a 3% conversion fee by the hotel billing system, but if I had gone with Euro and had my credit card do the conversion, there would have been no fee

A very cozy hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We stayed for a couple of days and the hotel was right near the city center and you have the greatest mountain view from there

One thing I would say is that when I accepted the final credit card bill, I was asked if I wanted to pay in Euro or U. $ since that's what my credit card is billed

Very nice and elegant villa (Prince has a good taste :)). Some of the furniture in the room is quite old and out of style (I am guessing 60's or 70's), but that was minor compared to all the other comforts

We really liked the artwork, from quirky old posters to paintings to historical photos of the building. The breakfast was standard German fare of breads, cold cuts and yoghurts, but everything fresh and delicious
