Excellent location in the historic center of Görlitz.

The photo/address on this page is misleading. You check in at the main hotel in the Obermarkt, if you pay an extra 20€ you may stay here; otherwise, your actual stay is on Plattnerstraße. A stay without elevators, but all in all, it’s a very clean and well-kept stay.

Beautiful location, very kind young men, rather comfortable parking.
Too bad for:
The dangerous steps between the bedroom and the bathroom

Interesting building and nice service
Historical place with some limitations. The layout of room and bathroom bit strange: room enormous and bathroom very tiny. Too few sockets, no place for cosmetics in the bathroom while just a shelf would make a change. For more then a week we wait for refund of overcharged payment. Breakfast awfull- bad organisation, cold food.

We spent three nights at this centrally located hotel.
The reception was friendly and uncomplicated.
We had actually booked the 3* guesthouse a few meters away and were able to stay in the 4* main building for only €10.00 per day. Furnishings have a typical Italian flair, our room was very large and faced the market square. There is a lot of activity there, but you can't hear anything with the windows closed. Bathroom is large, chic and modern but no window. Therefore, brighter lighting would not be bad, because we found the light on the mirror and ceiling too dark.
Breakfast is in the vaulted room and is sufficient.
Maybe it was because of the early season that we didn't have a buffet every morning. On the first day we got a very large plate with sausage, cheese, vegetables, tomato/mozzarella etc. served at the table. Jam as well as juice, water, fruit and muesli were at the buffet. It was actually too much, we didn't make it. On the 2nd day the plate was smaller. Fruit salad and juice was now also served at the table. Jam, honey or yoghurt/quark etc. was missing and wasn't to be found in the buffet room either. It was brought when asked. Only on the 3rd day could we enjoy the full buffet.
We felt the price of 15, - € / pers. too expensive for breakfast. At this price you already get a good dinner. We would stay there again, but alternatively have breakfast at a bakery for less.

Great location in the city center, nice spacious room for 2, good breakfast, friendly reception (speaking DE/EN/PL/IT at least). Though I believe this price could include slippers, bathrobe, and free bottle of water.

The kitchen in the mini-apartment didn't work for 4 days (and I didn't get not even 1€ of discount!) and the room was too cold. Certainly not a pleasant stay.
