Bit worn out. Parking is crazy expensive. There is much cheaper parking houses 5min walk

We were initially given a room on the South West side of the hotel, and as there had been some hot weather prior to our arrival, the room was very hot. I called down to reception and they sent a guy with an IR thermometer to measure the temperature coming from the vents...27ºC (80ºF)
He didn't speak very good English, but his body language was suggesting that was normal and the AC was 'working'.
I called reception again and asked if we could move rooms but I was told that all the rooms were booked...except one.
The receptionist asked if I wanted to have a look at the room because it had no windows. Sounded a bit odd, so I went to have a look.
Whilst I was waiting for the key, the receptionist told me that the AC system in the hotel is over 17 years old and that the hotel owners who are based in Singapore wanted to have it replaced during lockdown but for some reason it wasn't possible.
I went to check out the alternative room and it was some sort of boardroom with two foldaway beds. The view was interesting-great for people watching with the mirrored glass, and as there were no external windows and lots of vents it did seem a bit cooler.
Car parking was quite expensive and there were multiple barriers into which I had to insert the ticket along the way.
Breakfast was very expensive and the one-way system that was in place made things very chaotic and unenjoyable.
I might stay there again, but only after they've got their AC sorted out.
Shower power was good in the boardroom bathroom. It would probably be good enough to clean Euros before they are paid into Frasers Hospitality investment trust.

We stay already for the second Time in the Maritim Hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and always clean. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Especially I commend the extensive and delicious buffet Breakfast. There is everything the heart desires. The Only thing that bothers, that I find to be a very expensive Parking fees. But a plus point is the proximity to the city centre. Once again it was a very nice stay.

So the rooms are really Top, you can really see. The Breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired. The staff was always friendly, also in stressful situations. For me, only 2 small Kretikpunkte. The road noise is not an open window in the night. Here, only the rooms with a view over the river Elbe remains to increase. A bit of covered the in-house Parking spaces in the underground garage per day € 18! As there is no Parking, the Alternative is the nearest public car Park with a 10 Euro daily rate(Approx. a 10-minute walk away). Otherwise Top !

Service was good, but location is poorly accessible and air conditioning in seminar rooms is not that efficient. Parking was expensive and had to be paid in cash, no cards excepted.
Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was good and tasty and well prepared.

We felt in this Hotel very probably. From the friendliness at the reception, the great room, was very clean, there was nothing you could complain about. Breakfast on the terrace at the Elbe river. Just fantastic. There was sufficient selection , it has excellent taste. We enjoyed it very much. We can recommend this Hotel very much. Of course, everything has its price, but we paid for it gladly

There is live Piano bar sometimes at 20.00 but nothing special, boring and easy songs. But nice dark-brown environment. Very poor menu, club sandwich is awful but burger is awesome! Barista is unfriendly and impolite vs young service girl. 20 minutes away from the center of old Town

Nice hotel with a pleasant and quiet wellness area. There is a swimming pool, a sauna, a gym and massages.

Luxurious hotel and spa in a quiet location. The suite we had was decadent! Gorgeous decor, walls of windows, heavenly bed. Staff is very friendly and English is spoken perfectly. You can buy tickets for the tour bus, which stops directly in front of the hotel. Nice pool and spa. Great piano bar attached to the hotel that serves a mean cheeaeburger and has friendly bartenders who asked if our dog prefers whiskey or Scotch. Breakfast is 23 euros per person and is worth it if you have time for a leisurely opulent brunch. Otherwise bring snacks because there is nothing less than 10 minutes away for breakfast.

The location is excellent. Though we could walk to the historic old town in 5 minutes, our room was facing the river and was very quiet. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel anytime.
